The Uncanny X-Men were signed to Mushroom Records in 1982 and they disbanded 5 years later in 1987. Brian Mannix was the lead singer, and he appeared in Neighbours during the 1993 season as Connor Cleary, a talented jockey who fell in love with Lauren Carpenter.
