Robinsons
Jim is worried about Helen hobbling around on her ankle. She tells him to stop shouting and listen to her for one minute. She has told Katie to stay outside for a while because she doesn't think she should see Jim this angry. This winds Jim up even more and he once again says Beverly has undermined him. She explains what happened with Beverly's emergency and tells Jim she thinks Beverly did the right thing in letting Todd take the bike. Jim is slightly crushed and tells Helen that the Home James client was an old business advisee. He says he feels like a fool.
Clarkes Backyard
Mike is mending the fence so that Bouncer can come home and stop escaping. Mike and Jane talk about 'Dear Georgette', they are both sure Mrs Mangel is behind the letters. David comes to see Mike and apologises for his behaviour. He says before he met the folk of Ramsay Street he was devoid of emotions and now, after meeting Jane he has rethought his ideas. Mike says they should just forget about it.
Robinsons
Beverly comes home and Jim apologises. Beverly says they need to talk. Jim says he reacted the way he did because he's used to being the boss around the house. He's forgotten what it's like to share responsibility. Beverly says she thinks they have a problem, as she is headstrong too; if she thinks something is right there's no argument. She says she's had to be like that because of the hasty decisions she has to make at the hospital. They agree to meet in the middle even though it may take some time.
Beverly: How can we both be right?
Jim: By loving each other.
Ramsays
Mike is telling Henry about David's apology. They decide that David needs a girlfriend and Henry thinks he can introduce David to a whole new lifestyle.
Mrs Mangels
Henry and Mike come to see Jane. They tell her their plan and say they need to get someone to go on a blind date with David. Jane agrees to help and suggests Prue from Lassiters.
Robinsons
Helen is making Todd and Katie hot drinks for bed. Jim and Beverly are making a shopping list. Todd and Katie say goodnight and Todd apologises for being so hasty. He says he jumped to the wrong conclusion and says they will review the bike situation soon.
Ramsays
Madge doesn't think Henry's makeover is a very good idea. She doesn't think David will appreciate it. Todd arrives looking for Harold but he's at The Coffee Shop. Madge leaves for work and Mike arrives. He and Henry put on an act for David's sake. Mike says he and Jane were supposed to be going to the cinema with another couple but the guy has dropped out. Henry asks who the girl is and Mike tells him its Prue. Henry says he can't make it as David listens from afar. Mike and Henry turn to David; he says he can't make it as he's going on a financial tour. He says he'd prefer to go with Prue but to be honest girls just don't like him. Henry tells David not to worry; he and Mike are going to help him.
Robinsons
Jim arrives with the shopping and is pleased to hear Todd did all his chores before he went out. The phone rings and Jim answers it, it's Harold telling him that Todd came to The Coffee Shop and apologised. Todd arrives home and Jim tells him he did the right thing. He says he can have his bike back.
Ramsays
Henry and Mike are trying to coach David on how to impress the ladies. It's not going well even though David seems to have the information stored in his head.
Ramsays' Driveway
Jane and Prue head to the Ramsay house but Prue has some reservations about the blind date. Mike comes outside and Jane introduces him to Prue. Mike says David has spoilt something on his shirt and will be out in a minute.
Ramsays' Garden
Helen and Madge are having tea. Helen tells Madge about the stress that is happening at home due to Jim's lack of work. They hear the music and Helen asks what the noise is. Madge tells Helen David is being modernised.
Ramsays' Driveway
Mike comes outside and says David is ready. Henry stands on the balcony and introduces David. He stumbles down the stairs, as he isn't wearing his glasses. He is dressed casually and has his hair gelled back. He takes hold of Prue and dances down the driveway much to Henry's amusement.
