Paul and Gails
Gail says she'll have to be at work at 8 the next morning to prepare for the conference. The 'Women in the Workplace' conference amuses Paul and says he can just see them all sitting there chanting 'Death to the boss!'. Gail asks if he'll be going to any sessions as she's going to as many as she can. Paul says no as he's the perfect boss. Gail says he's not too bad since she sorted him out. They decide to have an early night and Paul tells her whilst she's working tomorrow he'll be at home with the Sunday papers.
Ramsays
David is practising some more cool guy lingo on Henry, but Henry would rather watch his movie. David asks why he doesn't have the sound up and Henry says it's because it's his favourite movie and he knows it backwards. David thanks Henry for all his help and says that Henry has changed his whole life.
David: I owe you Henry. You've given me freedom.
Harold arrives home and tells them how pleased he is that Todd apologised to him. He is instantly distracted when he sees David's new image.
Mrs Mangels
Jane and Mike are talking about the date. Jane doesn't think Prue was impressed and hopes that David hasn't got his hopes up. Mike leaves as he has to open The Coffee Shop early in the morning. Mrs Mangel comes outside and confronts Jane with a letter. She asks if she wrote it. Jane says she did but doesn't know what Mrs Mangel is doing with it as she sent it to the Dear Georgette column. Mrs Mangel finally admits that she is Georgette but is still upset about all the things Jane has written in the letter. Jane says she meant what she said in the letter; she has made Mike feel uncomfortable and has lost Harold because she was horrible to Madge. She warns her that if she's not careful she'll have no friends left at all.
The Office
Gail is loading up 'Froggers', her favourite computer game! Nina Williams arrives in reception; she is in charge of the conference group. She compliments Gail on the excellent crèche at Lassiters where she has left her daughter. Gail says Nina is not what she expected and Nina tells her not let looks fool her; she's pretty tough underneath and has to be as she runs a marketing business. They swap stories and Gail tells Nina that her husband is also her boss. Nina says Gail's husband must be very special as it's the hardest thing in the world to be together 24 hours a day.
Ramsays
Henry and David talk about Harold's reaction to David's new look. Henry tells David he'll get used to it. Harold asks David if he's going to church dressed in his new attire. David says he's not going to church today as he's asking Prue out again. David leaves and Henry tries to make a hasty exit. However Harold stops him and tells Henry that David was a decent man before Henry got his hands on him.
Harold: You have corrupted my son!
Harold answers the door to Mrs Mangel. She tells him it's ridiculous for old friends to fall out. She says perhaps she shouldn't have said what she did about Madge but she was provoked and justified. Harold says there is no justification and unless she can apologise to Madge then they can no longer be friends.
Ramsay Street
Paul is washing his car. David comments that the car is 'hot' and could 'burn rubber'. Paul notices that David has changed and asks what has happened. David says the real him has been waiting to come out for a long time and no he's here. David tells Paul that he's met a girl and asks Paul if he thinks he should call her. Paul tells him to go for it but says that he's no expert on relationships. David wants Gail's opinion but Paul tells him she's at work today.
Outside The Coffee Shop
Gail is having lunch with Nina and her daughter Amy. Nina asks Gail if she has any children and she tells her she's hoping to as she and Paul have just enrolled on the IVF programme. Gail says she hopes they will be lucky enough to have a little cutie like Amy.
Ramsays
David is still wondering what to do about Prue. Henry tells him to call her and gives him some more lines to reel off. David calls Prue as Harold arrives. When David gets off the phone he tells them Prue turned him down. Prue told him they weren't suited and wouldn't ever want to go out with him.
Harold says it's Henry's fault as David is not being himself. Henry says the old David wasn't a part of the real world. Harold and Henry argue and David tells them both to leave him alone.
Mrs Mangels
Jane is getting ready to go out. Mrs Mangel says she has cooked dinner for her. Jane says she will be back for dinner after she has been to see Henry. Mrs Mangel tells her not to tell anyone that she is Georgette or she will lose the job. Jane said she should be more concerned about the people she has hurt with her letters, especially the letter she faked to try and split she and Mike up.
Outside Lassiters
Gail and Nina are having a drink when Paul arrives. He kisses Gail and she introduces Nina to her husband. Paul and Nina are equally shocked to see each other and Paul tells Gail he knows Nina from his airline days. Paul says he's not sure that the old girlfriend meeting the new wife is a good thing, but it could do wonders for his ego!
Mrs Mangel
Mrs Mangel gives Bouncer Janes dinner and tells him she has had enough of Jane and doesn't need her. She says they can manage perfectly well together. Mike arrives and tells Mrs Mangel that he's come to take Bouncer home. He says he doesn't want any favours from her and wants Bouncer back now. Mrs Mangel tries to disguise her upset and gives Bouncer back to Mike. She goes back into the house and cries.
Mrs Mangel: I don't need anyone.
