Aaron thinks this is a ridiculous idea.

MELANIE: Everything that he told us was a lie. Even his surname.

His official name is Dr Logan Chambers and he and David attended medical school together. Remi will confirm this, but Aaron isn't listening. Melanie believed Logan was a good guy but has been manipulating the rest of them. Aaron doesn't know why Logan would want to do this; Melanie hasn't got a clue. She thinks Logan has an agenda. She wants Aaron to be cautious.

Eirini Rising Office
Terese has sent a reference to Jane to help get JJ back to school. Susan has done the same and will remind Harold. Terese wants Harold to put he is the Residents' Representative as well. Terese and Susan, they're working well together. Things are working out for Toadie and Terese as well, Susan is pleased.

TERESE: It's almost like he never left the bedroom really.

Susan looks wistful but is pleased for them. Terese worries she's overshared. Susan brushes it off and admits she's feeling envious. They're worn out when they return home, there's no time for anything else. They agree it doesn't help someone else is always there.

SUSAN: We'll find time to do... couple stuff soon.

No.32
Cara has made the area safe, but they need to clear up. Toadie appreciates how understanding she is. Cara admits to a previous deck having mechanical issues.

TOADIE: The truth is coming out.

Cara points out it was when she first started but Toadie promises not to judge. She wants to know what music decade he prefers; he is happy with any. She starts playing rock music and he is happy with the choice. They start playing air guitar together.

No.82 Tram
Leo arrives after Aaron wanted to meet up urgently. Aaron wants to know if Leo recalls Dr. Logan Chambers. Leo works out Logan and David were at medical school together.

LEO: He was obsessed with him.

Leo is sure of the facts but never met Logan. Aaron wants to know what he's facing. They were lab partners together and was fixated after a while. He sent presents and followed David around.

LEO: He wasn't really out at the time, but he wasn't interested.

David told Logan to go away but Logan wouldn't do that. David went to the university who suspended Logan. David was no longer harassed and could concentrate on his studies. Leo wants to know the reason for these questions. Aaron explains Logan is getting here in 20 minutes and they're going to the Dandenongs. Leo is worried about Logan's mental state. Leo will stay around, and check Aaron is ok, Aaron agrees.

No.24
Byron arrives and tentatively mentions to Jane there was no letter for her. Byron has found a letter for Jane. It was in Trevor's kennel, and he has been biting it. Byron's favourite pair of socks are also ruined.

JANE: So, your father did leave me something after all.

She puts the letter down and he is surprised she isn't going to read it. She thinks Victor is excusing and justifying his behaviour in the letter. She isn't curious.

JANE: I'm not gonna let that man derail my life anymore than he already has.

Byron sighs and leaves the letter on the side.

No.82 Tram
Logan arrives for his and Aaron's meetup. He realises from Leo and Aaron's faces that something is up. Leo is going to head inside the Tram. Logan starts chattering about rescheduling.

AARON: I know who you are. I know everything. I know how you harassed David. How you were suspended from the university just to make it stop.
LOGAN: I'm sorry for lying to you.

Logan realises that if he knew what had happened with David Aaron wouldn't want to know Logan. Aaron realises Logan is a stalker. Logan admits he had a fixation on David.

LOGAN: I knew how much we could mean to each other.
AARON: I don't think that's how David felt.

Logan points out that David hadn't admitted he was gay. Aaron wants to know why Logan has come to Erinsborough and is telling lies. Logan admits to being knocked off- kilter when he saw on David's socials that he had died. He took leave to move on by travelling. Logan met Melanie and he felt it was meant to be.

AARON: You do realise how irrational this all sounds?
LOGAN: I knew you were the one person who understood how special and important David was.

Logan realised Aaron would share his pain about not being able to see David again. Logan starts crying as Aaron looks thoughtful.

No.32
Toadie is telling Cara he had his mullet cut off and settled down and bought this place. He planned to become respectable and married at least!

TOADIE: Things seemed a lot simpler back then.

Cara heard his wife died. He admits two of his wives died but that wasn't the case with Dee after all. Cara realises Toadie's lived here a long time, Toadie realises it sounds a bit strange. Toadie and Melanie planned to move away but only actually sold up when he married Terese.

TOADIE: You're doing the count, right? How many wives has he had?

Cara has to agree and thinks her family's life is boring compared to his in longevity. Toadie doesn't agree and thinks they're fortunate everything has worked out for them. Cara agrees they've had challenges but overcome them.

No.24
Jane is cleaning and keeps looking at the letter. She stops and opens it. The beginning of the letter reads ‘Jane, For what I'm about to do to the kids I will never forgive myself. There's a chance you've heard by now from Nicolette or Byron. My cancer has gone, and I've had to leave. I hope you understand that I only...'

Jane rants to Susan and Terese about Victor's cheek that he tried to advise her! Victor didn't meet Mike, so Jane doesn't think he has a right to question their relationship.

JANE: He only knows how to destroy them. By cheating at every chance, he gets.

Terese tentatively thinks Victor is thinking of himself to suggests how things should go between Jane and Mike. Jane doesn't want to talk about the kiss.

JANE: He can't stand to see me settled with someone who makes me happy in the way that he never did.

Susan feels like she's missing some of the jigsaw. Terese explains about the kiss, Susan is surprised.

No.30
Toadie is telling Cara about Shane. Cara's pleased Shane and Dipi are still together. He reports Stonie is married happily too. Toadie took knows he took longer to get there.

CARA: It's taken time to find your happy ever after?
TOADIE: I don't really think about it. Until some nosy neighbour makes me tell my life story.
CARA: Saves me from reading Harold's history book.

Cara advises Toadie a section needs to come down and they can start afresh. Cara gets a message saying the washing machines in housekeeping aren't working. She needs to head off. He offers to carry on if it's ok with her.

CARA: You're a Rebecchi. What could possibly go wrong?

She gives him free range of the fridge.

Logan wants to know why Aaron hasn't headed off. Aaron is trying to get his head around this. Logan looked at David's obituary and found out David was married to Aaron.

LOGAN: That could have been me if David had understood himself sooner.

Logan wanted to meet Aaron and find out who he was. Aaron tells Logan that this is it for their friendship. Logan won't be sticking around. He won't repeat what happened with David. Logan gets up.

LOGAN: I wanted to meet the people who loved David as much as I did. Or I thought I did. I don't know. (Tearfully) I'm really sorry I made a mess of everything.

Logan heads off. Leo comes out of the Tram and wants to know what they were discussing for a long time. Aaron explains Logan told him how he really loved David. Logan understood so they don't need to take any further action.

AARON: I don't think we'll be hearing from him again.

Jane now knows Victor was playing mind games with her. He made little digs at Mike about not prioritising Jane. Jane and Terese look at each other as Jane waxes lyrical about how committed she and Mike are to each other. Mike will be back soon, and they can get married and things will return to how they were. Susan really likes Mike but admits what's keeping him away has crossed her mind. Also, Jane hasn't gone to see him. Terese has also been concerned about Mike's trip is open ended and he hasn't got a date to return home. Jane tells them he's had job opportunities. They're just concerned for her.

SUSAN: Any concerns, don't you think you owe it to talk to Mike about it?
JANE: I haven't said anything because of what he might say.

Jane admits to not being ready to hear whatever that is.

No.30
Toadie is clearing up in the sunroom. He gets a text from Cara; she will be longer away than planned. She says he can head home. He takes a mug from the shelf in the room and washes it up. He starts to hear whirring noises in his head and looks unsettled.

The Waterhole
Holly clinks Melanie's glass to congratulate Melanie on discovering whom Logan is. Melanie was starting to doubt herself.

HOLLY: Your gut's always right.

Holly knew she was right about Dr Bowman. Karl isn't impressed with how she proved it.

Aaron comes over to speak to Melanie. Susan and Karl head off to get a drink, Holly wants to protect Melanie. Aaron thanks Melanie for looking out for him, Aaron knows he initially made things difficult. Melanie apologises for bringing Logan to Erinsborough. Aaron thinks Logan would have returned once he saw David on the Drinks Van.

MELANIE: Do you know what he wanted?
AARON: To spend time with the people who loved David.
HOLLY: He needs therapy.

Aaron thanks Melanie again, she was happy to help.

Over at the bar Susan suggests they head home instead of having drinks. Karl is more interested in the 2 for 1 pasta offer!

SUSAN: Can't compete with carbonara, can I?

Toadie tells Terese that Shane blamed it on a sinkhole or earthquake! Terese thinks he just cut corners. Shane offered to foot the bill which won't be too much with Cara helping out. He finds he's working well with Cara. He starts talking about finding it being strange being alone at No.30 as Terese calls the kids for dinner. When she comes back, he shrugs it off. He suggests heading upstairs after dinner. Terese is more hesitant and admits what happened with Susan and Jane. She's not trying to shut him down though and agrees to an early night. She wants him to have a shower first though.

No.82 Tram
It's now the next day. Jane is walking along looking thoughtful. She reaches the Tram and sits at a table.

She has a flashback of herself and Mike sitting at this table. Mike is talking about how they've been damaged by things in life. They should still have happiness.

Back in the present she hears a motorbike ride past. Karl looks at her but doesn't say anything.

Harold's Cafe
Leo isn't impressed when Logan turns up and reminds him, he promised to stay away. Logan is returning David's things as he realises it wasn't a good idea to hang onto them. Logan apologises to Melanie. She thinks he's left it too late, and he agrees.

LOGAN: You won't be seeing me again.
LEO: Make sure you stick to that.

Aaron stares into space as they chat.

No.30
Cara suggests they freshly stain the floorboards, Toadie is agreeable. Cara gets a text from Krista, a boomgate has fallen on a car so she is needed. Brett has disappeared into thin air. Toadie agrees to start the work whilst she's gone. She's already made a playlist and heads off. Toadie admits to himself he hasn't got a clue what he's meant to be doing.

Erinsborough High
Byron arrives to see Jane in her office. He has found something and brought it to her. He realises she is distracted and checks if she's ok. She admits she's not, it's partly about Victor.

JANE: I can't be in denial any longer. I have to break up with Mike.
