Caravan Park
Logan asks Melanie how she got in.
MELANIE: I... found your keys, I was just putting them back.
LOGAN: Why are you going through my things?
MELANIE: I think the bigger question... is why have you got David's clothes?
LOGAN: ... I bought them. Yeah, I thought that Aaron might regret throwing them out.
MELANIE: That's a pretty big assumption to make
LOGAN: I'm being a friend! If he doesn't want the stuff later, I can always donate it again. There's no problem.
MELANIE: Except you told Karl you were from two different places. Remi's sure she met you at a conference. Who are you?
LOGAN: Who are *you*? Breaking into my place and accusing me of crazy stuff?
MELANIE: I'm just trying to get an explanation.
LOGAN: Look, I don't know why Karl is confused, and I don't know what Remi's problem is.
MELANIE: Everyone else is wrong?
LOGAN (angry): Listen! I know you had an issue with Eden. Maybe you enjoyed the drama. But do not try and make me the new him.
MELANIE: What are you hiding?
LOGAN: You're paranoid. I should go straight to the police. Do I need to do that?
Melanie grabs her bag and goes to leave.
LOGAN: And Melanie - if it isn't already obvious, I quit. Stay far away from me, yeah?
Melanie leaves, looking very shaken.
Erinsborough High School
In the corridor, Dex asks Nell if they're still on for tonight. She takes a moment to remember that it's movie night, and tells him yes.
DEX: Are you happy with Ghost in the Shell? There are other Oshii ones we could choose.
NELL: Yeah, fine. Sounds good.
JJ appears, ostensibly to talk to Dex about some groceries Remi wants them to get, then is set to leave when Dex warns him he'll be in trouble if he's found on school grounds. Dex takes the opportunity, though, to ask him which movie he should see with Nell, as she didn't seem that interested in the one he proposed. JJ suggests Angel's Egg; he's heard her talk about that one.
Jane approaches, sends Dex to class, and warns JJ that he really shouldn't be here.
JJ: I know, I had to see Dex about something... I guess I miss the place a bit, too.
JJ leaves and Jane looks thoughtful.
The Waterhole
Wendy is on a shift and Andrew talking to her at the bar. He notices she's not wearing her wedding ring.
WENDY: Oh, I took it off at home - we had print- making today. Just forgot to put it back on.
After he leaves, Wendy looks guilty. At this point, Wendy's uni friend Parker comes in.
PARKER: Hey, hey!
WENDY: Hey, bestie! Wow, you are slaying in that outfit.
PARKER: Yes, I am!
Parker's here to invite Wendy to a 'traffic light party' next week, where people show their relationship status by wearing green (single), orange (maybe) or red (don't come if you're red!) Cara, who's doing a job in the background, is listening. Wendy says she'll have to check her roster to see whether she can come to the party, and doesn't commit. As she gets Parker a beer, Wendy makes uncomfortable eye contact with Cara.

Logan has come to see Aaron. He tells him that Melanie stole her keys and let herself into his caravan.
AARON: That doesn't sound like Mel.
LOGAN: She also accused me of hiding something. And she wasn't completely wrong.
He brings in the suitcase full of David's clothes.
LOGAN: Remember I said I know what it's like to lose love? I made the mistake of letting their stuff go too soon, and I didn't want that for you.
AARON: Hold on - you bought David's stuff?
LOGAN: Yeah. I was trying to make sure you had no regrets. And then Mel made me feel like I was doing something completely inappropriate.
Aaron is emotional as he opens the case and looks at the clothes.
AARON: It was so hard giving this stuff away. I actually really miss this.
LOGAN: Well, I'm sort of glad I did it. Despite what Mel said.
AARON: Mel should never have gone off at you, or made you feel like you needed to quit.
LOGAN: Oh, I was getting over the job anyway. It was never a long- term thing... Are we good?
AARON: I'm gonna go and tell Mel that she's got the wrong end of the stick.
LOGAN: What about the clothes? Do you want to keep them after all? How about I help you decide?
Aaron looks conflicted.
The Waterhole
Parker is leaving, and hugs Wendy, promising to see her in class. Once they've gone, Wendy notices that Cara is still watching her uncomfortably.
WENDY: Don't give me that! Parker is just a friend.
CARA: That you go to cruising parties with.
WENDY: Obviously there's gonna be no cruising on my part.
CARA: Then I think you gave them the wrong impression.
WENDY: No, it's just... when we first went clubbing, they assumed that I was younger. And, you know, I kind of liked the whole image that it went with.
CARA: The hot, young, single lady.
WENDY: Well, I am hot! And, you know, I'm young- ish.
CARA: Do they at least know that you're a mum?
WENDY: ... No. No, look, I know it sounds bad.
CARA: Just think about how Andrew's gonna feel when he finds out.

Aaron seems to have reached a compromise over David's clothes - he is going to keep some of them, and give the rest away to the Foundation. Logan suggests that if Aaron needs to clear his head before deciding for sure, they could go on a trip to the Dandenongs.
AARON: You know what? Getting lost for a few hours actually sounds really nice.
LOGAN: Let's do it. Let's go tomorrow.
Jane comes in, on the phone to Remi, asking if Remi could have a word with JJ - presumably to remind him he can't come onto school premises. Logan prepares to leave, but suggests to Aaron that they go for a run tomorrow morning as a warm- up for their hike. Once Logan's gone, Jane admits to Aaron that the situation with JJ is sad - he ought to be at the school, but can't be.

As Dex throws groceries to JJ to put away, he wonders aloud whether he should buy Nell flowers.
JJ: That's a bit much. Maybe you can just tell her you like her.
Remi comes in, interrupting the conversation to tell JJ off about going into Erinsborough High. Dex goes to get changed.
REMI: Since you can't keep yourself away from school, we need to decide where you're gonna go next.
JJ: Can't I just keep working?
REMI: That wasn't the deal.
JJ: If I can't go to Erinsborough High, I really don't want to go anywhere else!
Harold's Café
Karl and Susan are picking up some takeaway while Melanie is at a table. They ask if she's spoken to Logan again. 'Unfortunately, yes,' she tells them, but before she can say anymore, Aaron comes in.
MELANIE: Before you say anything, I hope Logan told you that he bought all David's clothes?
AARON: Yeah, he did, and thank goodness for that, because I regretted getting rid of them. Mel, you can't just break into his cabin and start going through his stuff like that! What has got into you?
MELANIE: I was trying to protect you.
AARON: Trying to protect me? From what?
MELANIE: I'm the one who brought him into our lives, and we don't know anything about him! Not really.
AARON: No, I know the important things.
KARL: You do realise he's given different stories about where he's from?
AARON: You must have misheard him.
MELANIE: Aaron, he has latched onto you like nobody's business. Surely you can see that? I'm worried about you.
AARON: I appreciate that, but I promise you, I am fine. I don't know why you're so fixated on this. Mel, whatever has happened between you two, he has been really supportive for me. He's been a good friend. So you need to back off.
Aaron walks out again.

JJ comes into the sunroom to find a smartly- dressed Dex, who has set up bean bags, popcorn and a projector for his movie night with Nell.
JJ: You didn't want to go the full suit and tie?
DEX: Is this not good enough?
JJ: Ah, no, you're fine, man. Relax. You look good.
Dex smiles. Meanwhile, Cara is letting Nell in at the front door. Remi calls the boys as she pours wine for her and Cara. When Dex and JJ come in, Nell's rather surprised to see Dex has dressed up.
NELL: Nice fit, but aren't we just chilling in front of the TV?
DEX: Umm, yes. I mean, no... just come this way.
Nell seems impressed with the setup in the sunroom. Remi suggests pizza and threatens that all of them should join Nell and Dex for the movie, but JJ steps in, saying they should continue their conversation about school instead while Dex and Nell watch the film.
REMI: Now there's an offer we can't refuse.
As Nell and Dex head into the sunroom, Cara and Remi take a seat with JJ. They've looked at a number of schools and they're comparable in terms of the core subjects, but he just needs to decide on arts and sports.
JJ: I said before, I don't want to go to another school.
In the sunroom, Nell and Dex are lounging on the bean bags. She wonders how Dex knew she liked Angel's Egg.
DEX: Umm... me and you, I guess we just think the same.
NELL: You know what I should've brought? Popcorn.
To her amazement, Dex hands her a massive bucket of it!
DEX: See, we're in sync!
But his fortunes are about to take a turn for the worse, as the roof above them starts creaking, and dust begins to rain down...
Back in the other room, discussion has turned to pizza toppings, though Cara warns JJ that they're not done with talking about school. We can hear Dex and Nell's panicked voices from next door, and the teens burst through from the sunroom, just as the roof of it collapses behind them with a huge crash!
Harold's Café
Susan, Karl and Melanie are talking about Aaron and Logan. Susan is sure that once the dust settles, Aaron will see Mel had his best interests at heart.
MELANIE: Maybe. Or maybe Logan's right. Have I been handling this the wrong way because of Eden?
KARL: Hang on, did Logan say that?
MELANIE: He accused me of loving the drama, which I don't think is true. But maybe I am overly suspicious because of what's happened to me.
Susan thinks it's natural she'd be affected by what happened with Eden, but encourages Mel to trust her gut. Karl says they're all concerned about this, and apologises for spurring Mel on.
MELANIE: You didn't encourage me to break and enter.

Toadie has come round to survey the damage in the sunroom, as the former owner of the house.
REMI: How could it just collapse?
TOADIE: I am so, so sorry. Someone could've got seriously hurt.
CARA: Who did the build? Dodgy Brothers & Co?
TOADIE: Uhh... actually, yeah, it *was* my brother. And it seems like his workmanship was a bit dodgy.
NELL: Mm. Uncle Shane. It was a big surprise for Aunt Dipi.
TOADIE: Put up in record speed.
REMI: So Shane wasn't a builder?
NELL: He built that machine - the one that turns urine into water?
JJ sniggers.
TOADIE: No. No, he's not. Obviously I feel responsible for this.
CARA: No, look, this is on me as well. I should've taken a closer look when we bought the place.
TOADIE: No, no, this isn't for you guys to fix. You should not be out of pocket.
Remi suggests they should just make it safe and deal with it tomorrow, so Cara and Toadie go to do that. Spotting a bit of debris in Nell's hair, JJ removes it for her. They share a bit of a glance.
The pizza has arrived, but Nell tells Dex that Toadie will probably want them to go home now. Dex looks disappointed, saying it's still early and they haven't eaten.
REMI: Oh, Dexie, we might do it another night. I think tonight's a bit of a write- off.
No 26
It's night- time, and Wendy is sitting in the dining area in her pyjamas, looking worried. Andrew appears from the bedroom to get a glass of water, and she makes the excuse that she had a coffee before bed which is keeping her up.
ANDREW: Is there something on your mind?
WENDY: No, no - nothing. Go to bed, I'll be there soon.
He kisses her, and goes back to the bedroom. Wendy looks worried again.
Ramsay Street
The next morning, Melanie is coming out of No 28, but hides under the archway when she sees Logan in the street, in his running gear. Aaron comes out to join him.
LOGAN: Wasn't sure you'd be up for it?
AARON: Oh, I never regret a run.
LOGAN: Yeah, well, you will when I kick your butt.
AARON: Is that right?
They set off running. Melanie looks concerned. Remi appears and asks Mel why she's hiding! Mel explains how she got worked up about Logan and it backfired on her, and now Aaron is not happy with her.
REMI: I can't stop thinking about when I met Logan in Burleigh Heads. I am *certain* he spoke to me about new cardiovascular treatments. Like any average waiter would (!) Our instincts aren't wrong. Something doesn't add up.
MELANIE: Maybe so. But I have to leave this alone; I've caused enough chaos already.
Lassiter's Complex
Toadie and Cara are chatting in the pub beer garden. Cara's taken a look at the sunroom, and thinks she can do the rebuild herself thanks to her experience working in construction. Still feeling bad about the collapse, Toadie offers to help with the grunt work. Cara says that's fine, as long as they can do it bit- by- bit around her other commitments.
Toadie offers to come round at 11, but Cara suggests 12 instead, claiming she has a staff meeting. Wendy, who is clearing tables in the background, listens in. Once Toadie's gone, Wendy rushes over to talk to Cara.
WENDY: I was up half the night thinking about what you said. I was pregnant with Sadie when all my friends went out partying at uni.
CARA: Yeah, I was a young mum too.
WENDY: So you know what it's like trying to fit back in. I finally met a group of people that I got on with and, you know, I just... I went for it. Is that so evil?
CARA: It's still not great. You know, whatever the reason, it's still disloyal to Andrew and Sadie.
WENDY: They mean more to me than anything.
CARA: Except you're literally denying that they exist!
WENDY: I am just trying to find a balance, Cara. I honestly... I just don't know how to be 'fun uni Wendy' and 'boring old mum who works at the bar' at the same time. But you know what? You're lying to people as much as I am.
CARA: Am I?!
WENDY: You don't have a staff meeting today! You've got uni!
CARA: Not quite the same, but okay.
WENDY: A lie is a lie! It's alright, I'm not gonna say anything. But this is a two- way street. Oh, and less of the judgy eyeballs would be nice!
Cara smiles to herself as Wendy marches off.
Harold's Café
JJ and Dex are hanging out at one table, while Terese is at another chatting to Remi and Jane. Terese comments on how bad Toadie feels about the sunroom collapse, but Remi is distracted. She admits she's worrying about JJ and his lack of interest in finding another school. She asks Jane if there's anything else that could be done to appeal the education department's decision to expel him from Erinsborough High.
JANE: No, the meeting with Lana sealed it. The one that JJ didn't turn up to.
REMI: Yeah. But the court saw that he's not a bad kid. That's why they put him on the diversion programme.
TERESE: Yeah, and he's doing so well at Eirini Rising. Doesn't that count for something?
JANE: I actually agree with everything you're saying. It's just, I don't see how it changes anything.
Remi gets a phone call 'from an old colleague', Deirdre, and rushes off to take it. As she goes, Jane looks thoughtful as to whether there's anyway she can help JJ.
The Waterhole
Remi has summoned Melanie for a meeting about Logan. She explains to Mel that her former colleague was also at the Burleigh Heads conference, and remembers Logan too; she sent Deirdre a photo of him.
REMI: His real name is Dr Logan Chambers, and he practised at Liverpool West Private Hospital in Sydney.
MELANIE: Are they absolutely sure?
REMI: Completely.
MELANIE: So we were right! Why would someone lie about being a doctor?
REMI: He obviously has something to hide.
MELANIE: And he was the one who made out that I was some kind of a nutter.
REMI: He's smart. Whatever his agenda is, he's getting away with it.
MELANIE: He's obsessed with Aaron.
REMI: I got the number of someone who worked with him at Liverpool West. I could give him a call, if you want to listen.
Melanie agrees.
Eirini Rising
JJ is impressing Susan and Terese with his proactive approach to work. He reports on necessary dietary alterations for one of the residents, and adds that the café area could do with some sun umbrellas, as he's noticed residents are avoiding it in the afternoons when it's too hot. Terese says they'll get onto it. JJ spots another resident who has dropped her bags, and rushes over to help her, just as Jane turns up.
As JJ returns to the group, Jane tells him that she has an idea that might help his cause.
JANE: I've been thinking about all of the great work that you do here - and, well, if certain members of the staff were willing to write you a reference, I could go back to Lana at the education department.
JJ: You mean I might get back into Erinsborough High?
JANE: Well, maybe.
TERESE: I'll do it!
SUSAN: You'll have mine by lunchtime.
TERESE: You can ask the residents too. I'm sure Harold will say yes.
SUSAN: Oh, I think they'd all say yes. You've become very popular around here.
JANE: But there are no guarantees. Well, I wouldn't want your mums to get their hopes up either.
TERESE: Oh, but it's worth a shot.
JJ: Wow, thanks! Thank you - thank you all so much.
JJ is pleased as punch.
Ramsay Street
Melanie accosts Aaron in the street, asking why he hasn't been answering his phone. He explains he went running without it.
MELANIE: You really need to hear this.
AARON: Mel, if you're gonna have another go about Logan -
MELANIE: Logan is seriously unhinged!
AARON: I am choosing to spend the day with him, and I do not want you spoiling it.
MELANIE: I just found out things about him and David! Logan knew him.
Coming up on Neighbours
- Terese and Susan encourage Jane to talk to Mike about her concerns about their long- distance relationship
- Aaron asks Melanie why Logan would do something like that; Melanie is sure he has some kind of agenda
