- Melanie arranging a date but turns out she's been set up and has a drink thrown over her.
- Melanie deciding she can't live in Ramsay Street any more.
- Haz thinking that Trevor has been stolen by its rightful owner but he eventually reappears.
- Haz reluctantly going to contact Trevor's rightful owner.
- Paul setting Krista work to do for the council audit.
- Paul spotting Krista and Leo pashing.
- Cara's sister Chelsea paying a visit.
- Remi not too impressed at Chelsea.
- Chelsea commenting about wanting to move to Erinsborough… while looking at the Robinson family tree.
Remi is back from her yoga session and seems to have a new- found attitude towards Chelsea for her temporary stay in Erinsborough. That feeling totally goes when Cara breaks the news that Chelsea wants to stay with them longer as she is contemplating permanently moving to Melbourne. "I just need some time," is the immediate response back but more because Chelsea has appeared ready for her tour of Lassiters from her sister.
With the encouragement from Mackenzie, Haz finally plucks up the encouragement to call Alyssa. When he gets through to her, the call is rather short as she'd rather have a face- to- face conversation.
Paul isn't too amused at Wendy trying to engage him in conversation when he's busy getting ready for the council audit. He is even less amused when Cara introduced her sister to him and when she comments about talking to David, that is the final straw for Paul, he upsticks and leaves for the privacy of the back office.
Alyssa arrives to meet Haz and expected the dog to be there too. Haz isn't exactly enthusiastic about the meeting and its more one word answers from him to Alyssa's questions. She turns the emotional screw - telling Haz the dog was bought by her dying mum for her son (Max) in the hope that she gets the dog back.
It turns out that the person doing the council audit is Mackenzie and she isn't exactly enthralled about doing the task!
Chelsea interrupts to suggest coffee with Paul to talk over a business proposition but he's a man in demand and his phone is going off non- stop so nothing is arranged other than a generic, "I'd love to," before he walks away.
Haz is back from meeting with Alyssa and updates Mackenzie - after listening to what she said, he now feels guilty for taking the dog away from her son. In fact, he is feeling so down that after saying that, he decides to head home to be with Trevor.
Karl is tinkering with his bike on the driveway when Toadie and Terese come over for a chat. We hear that Susan is enjoying herself in Sydney and in turn, the K's are happy at the progress Eirini Rising is making, so much so, that its almost time for Karl to give his notice at the hospital.
They then notice that Karl is a bit down, and he explains that its due to Melanie - she has decided to leave but he thinks its too soon. Neither comment on that news until they are walking back across the street.
TERESE: Well, I'm not gonna pretend that I'm not happy about that.
TOADIE: Yeah. Melanie leaving could be the best thing for all of us.
After spotting them talking in the complex earlier, Remi enters the bar and gets straight to the point by asking Chelsea if she was talking to Paul about business, reminding her too that Paul is Cara's boss. Chelsea doesn't deny it, and thinks given the size of the hotel, it would be "a big win" to get her range into the rooms. Cara isn't bothered about her sister dealing with Paul adding that it could be a good thing. Knowing that she's fighting a losing cause, Remi backs down.
Karl comes off the phone from chatting to Susan to tell Melanie that she's extending her trip by two more months after finding a self- development course she wants to do.
MELANIE: Ah to be a lady of leisure.
Karl at least plans on visiting his wife there and we hear too that Susan is sad to hear that Melanie is leaving (Karl told her). He thinks she still needs the support although does acknowledges that its difficult living over the road from Toadie but doesn't think Melanie living on her own would be much fun either.
KARL: No one should have to do it all on their own.
Haz is enjoying some bonding time with Trevor at the beach but when he joins Mackenzie, he realises that he has to hand the dog back.
Either Chelsea has the finest smelling perfume ever or it's the way she is dressed that literally stops Paul mid- telephone conversation in his tracks while walking through the bar. Now he's stopped, she starts her spiel - she wants to create a bespoke signature scent for the hotel and he's interested enough to end his call and listen fully to her pitch.
Its like high- noon when Toadie and Terese walk into the café and spot Melanie sitting at a table. The conversation is kept very neutral before Toadie mentions her moving away… only for Melanie to announce she was perhaps a bit hasty and is now staying put (citing that her shoulder isn't fully healed yet). "That makes sense," Terese politely says while trying hard not to let her disappointment show through!
Chelsea pitches Paul her plan for having a signature perfume in each room for guests to take away with them. Paul likes her pitch but the price is too high and he isn't sure the clientele will be interested either, however he compromises by suggesting she opens a pop- up stall and depending on how that goes, they can talk more later.
Now his mind is made up, and he's contacted Alyssa, Haz is trying to gather all of Trevor's belongings to pass them over. Mackenzie asks if he's sure about returning the dog and his reply is "it's the right thing to do."
Remi apologises to Cara for being full on earlier, she doesn't want Chelsea to mess things up for Cara. Cara gets how she is feeling but replies back that she isn't worried and hopes things go well in her dealings with Paul.
Just at that point, Chelsea arrives and tells them about the pop- up store plan and has an inkling she will be flat out and might need some help.
Wendy has overheard what Chelsea has said and literally drags Sadie over to their table and post- intro's suggests that Sadie would be the perfect person to provide the extra set of hands required. "Make up is not the same as perfume," Sadie points out to her mum, which Wendy does know, but feels that her daughter could learn a lot about freelancing from Chelsea. Chelsea likes Wendy's selling point and offers Sadie $300 to work the day, which she readily agrees to!
When Chelsea goes to the bar to get a bottle of bubbles to celebrate, while waiting for the bottle to arrive, she gets out a pen and writes 'Chelsea Robinson' on one of the bar napkins.
Lassiters car park
A very downbeat Haz arrives to hand Trevor over. Alyssa opens her door and Max can't get out of the car quickly enough to be reunited with the dog.
Alyssa tries to thank Haz for what he is doing, but he keeps it very neutral by talking instead about his vaccinations and toys more to try and avoid getting upset, but eventually the tears come after he says a final goodbye to the dog.
