Lassiter's Reception
Byron tells Leo he's glad not to answer to Paul anymore. He hasn't admitted it to Reece. Holly arrives and admits to revealing all to Krista. She explains she thought Krista had already been told. Byron explains that Reece wanted to wait till Krista was through the worst. Holly doesn't know what happened next. David appears and they tell him what happened. They agree to go and search for Krista.

Wendy gets a message from Summer who is planning to do a live podcast from the protest. Summer is going to 'get into the emotional guts of it all'. They promise not to tell Holly or anyone else. Sadie is worried about it being a criminal offence, Nicolette points out they're not breaking into a place. Nicolette plans to tell Jane that night, Wendy thinks Jane will be really touched. Wendy hasn't mentioned it to Andrew. They need to carry on with their plans as he will be home soon.
The Waterhole
Terese is planning soil tests so will need accesss to the school before it closes for good.
TERESE: I'm planning on preserving as much of the original structure as possible.
JANE: Preservation is important.
Terese heads over to join Toadie and Susan goes to Jane. Jane has to admit the deal has been done so she shouldn't be kicking up a fuss anymore.
Terese wishes things were better between them. Susan hopes, Jane and Terese can work things out, Jane isn't so sure that will happen. Jane doesn't mind now that Susan is getting on with Terese. Toadie thinks Terese and Jane can sort things out once Jane returns to Erinsborough after Christmas.
Lassiter's Lake
David is searching by torchlight for Krista.

Jane arrives home but doesn't say much about the meeting when quizzed by Nicolette. Nicolette wants to help her by looking at the Save Erinsborough High page, Jane announces she's deleted the page. Jane doesn't find it easy to look at the page.
JANE: I can't stay on this emotional rollercoaster any longer.
Jane will keep getting reminders when the development starts. Nicolette suggests a miracle but Jane is distracted. She was short of 50 cents earlier so owes Haz money tomorrow.
NICOLETTE: You are the most honest person ever.
JANE: A person is only as good as their word.
Jane tells Nicolette both she and Nicolette's grandmother agreed on that. Sammy hands over the 50 cents needed. Jane is going to distract herself with Mike's letter. Nicolette sends a text saying she can't tell Jane yet.
Lassiter's Lake
David answers his phone to Leo. David is determined to keep looking and finding her tonight. David has found Krista and rings off. She's leaning against a car in the carpark. He asks if she's used, she was about to use. He tells her it's not necessary but she doesn't see the point in not going through with it.
KRISTA: My Dad is dead... He'll always remember me as a screw up.
DAVID: No one is defined by their lowest moment.
Krista points out David is unaware of what happened in the past. David admits he has his own past. He tells her the real reason why he's not a doctor. They have both failed at things.
DAVID: What defines us are the choices we make moment to moment. What do you want your next one to be?
Harold's Cafe
Holly and Byron are feeling happier now that Krista has been found. Holly blames herself for what happened. Haz points out that she intended to be a good friend to Krista. They agree to meet for a drink after work. Holly plans to get fresh clothes which surprises Haz. Holly heads off and Haz admits to Byron he hadn't planned for Holly to stay over.
Hotel Room
David has brought Krista back to the hotel room and Leo has joined them. Krista thanks David for finding her especially as he doesn't really know her. Leo explains Paul is their father and his part in everything. David tells her that Leo was unaware of it but David had kept quiet. David refuses to talk to Paul. He apologises and understands if Krista wants him to leave. She gets where he's coming from as Connor was difficult as well. She goes to flush the drugs down the toilet, we hear the toilet flushing. Leo suggests heading off but Krista wants them to stay. She doesn't think it's a good idea to be alone at the moment, David agrees to stay.
No.32 Backyard
Mackenzie thinks David has been a hero. Byron realises he should have been watching out for Krista. He's let Reece know, Reece sounds tired and stressed.
Haz comes outside and throws a dog toy for Trevor. He plans to get the others to taste test a pot of beans. Mackenzie has found the money and a note from Jane on the letterbox and gives it to Haz. Byron decides not to stick around when he realises Holly is indoors. Haz realises they're avoiding her. Mackenzie denies it. Byron points out she's helping herself to snacks and booze. Mackenzie suggests Haz tries to set boundaries more firmly.

Aaron knows that David is helping to gain Krista's trust. Jane plans to make David a pancake brunch when he returns.
NICOLETTE: You can't convince him to move home by bribing him with food.
Jane denies doing this! Nicolette plans to spend time with a friend all day. She thanks Sammy for agreeing to look after Isla. Jane asks if she can delay it a bit so they can spend time together. Nicolette points out Jane suggested she had a chance to reconnect with the area.

Susan reassures Terese she believes Jane and Terese will sort things out. Terese wants to know how Susan feels about Karl working at Eirini Rising. When Karl returns from travelling he plans to make up his mind. She wasn't feeling very easy but as Jane is working things out she's behind it. Terese has sent the information to Harold. Susan would be happy if Harold returned to Erinsborough.
SUSAN: I think I'll always feel sad about the school. Maybe there'll be silver linings.
No.32
Haz is just about to enjoy a cup of coffee when Holly sneaks up on him. She starts rambling about meeting up on his break, he is non- commital. She tries his coffee and spits it out in a glass as she finds it disgusting.
HAZ: That was a limited crop.
It is from Papya New Guinea, she still isn't impressed. He points out she spat out this rare coffee. He is annoyed as he carries on listing all the things she has been helping herself to
HAZ: You are always here all the time.
HOLLY: You should have said something.
HAZ: I'm saying it now. (Holly leaves the room.)
Hotel Room
Krista chatted to Reece this morning, it was 'sad and difficult'. She doesn't know how she'll cope with her family and getting through the funeral. David tentatively tells her she might not be able to fly across to the US. Krista wants to try her best to do it. She couldn't cope if she wasn't able to do it. Leo reminds her she needs to put her recovery first. David has spoken to his Addiction Specialist friend and has found out about a Rehabilitation Rehab place. There would be a space for her right away. Krista isn't sure about rehab and is convinced she's managing by herself. David suggests a 1to1 companion and work with her so she's not by herself. She likes that option and suggests he takes on the role.
KRISTA: You make me feel really safe. Reece would make sure you're paid really well.
Leo thinks David should think about it at least.
No.32 Backyard
Mackenzie tentatively comes outside, Haz guesses she heard him and Holly fight. She didn't hear all of it, he admits to not being totally ok. He admits that he should have made the boundaries clear. He held it in too long and exploded in a nasty way. Mackenzie realises Holly didn't find it easy either. He wants to keep going out with Holly, Mackenzie tells him to be clear what is and isn't allowed. Then they can work things out.
HAZ: When did you get to be so wise?

Nicolette is updating Wendy and Sadie on what Jane said earlier. Nicolette thinks Jane will let the police know if they tell her about the protest.
SADIE: You two are total opposites aren't you? I don't mean that in a bad way.
They agree to keep Jane in the dark. Wendy thinks Jane will see they had good intentions after the event. Nicolette is determined it won't go wrong to make up for moving away so quickly. Wendy points out that was Paul's doing. Nicolette wants to do this for Jane as she has done a lot for Nicolette.

David tells them that Krista has been persuaded to go to rehab. Aaron thinks she should have been there earlier. David hasn't minded.
DAVID: Being with her, I got to be useful. Really make a difference in somebody's life.
AARON: Felt like you were a doctor again.
DAVID: I was in denial about how much it was affecting me.
David tells Aaron about Krista's suggestion. He really wants to do this job. He's agreed with Krista to help her once she comes out of rehab. Aaron, Sam and Jane realise that David has made a decision.
DAVID: We're moving back... As long as that's ok with you Sam.
SAM: Welcome home.
AARON: Thank you.
Harold's Cafe
Susan walks in and is amazed to see Summer standing by the counter. They share a hug and Susan asks why she's in town. Summer says she wanted to surprise Susan and Holly. Susan notices Summer is wearing a blazer from her school days.
SUMMER: I was feeling nostalgic since it's shutting down.
Susan realises there is more to this visit than Summer is claiming! Summer has been thinking Susan would love the real reason she's here.

Holly arrives home. She tells Haz that she would rather get it over and done with quickly if he plans to dump her. That isn't Haz's plan. Things escalated too quickly but he's sorry for how he spoke to her. She apologises as well. She didn't mean to invade him so much, she enjoys his company. He does as well but needs to spend time by himself as well.
HAZ: You can still come over but you have to do it less. It gives me the chance to miss you.
HOLLY: I can do that.
No.26
Nicolette finishes on the phone and announces to Wendy and Sadie they're moving back to Erinsborough! Wendy and Sadie are really pleased for her. They plan to head out and celebrate and protest as there's a knock at the door. Susan arrives and wants to question them about the protest. She glosses over how she found out and hasn't told Jane.
NICOLETTE: We don't want to get her hopes up or tell the police and have us shut down.
Susan is surprised to find out that Andrew is also in the dark. She points out that it's been decided and approved by the Education Department and the Council.
NICOLETTE: Decisions can be reversed. This is for the school.
WENDY: It's the school that you love so much.
NICOLETTE: A protest might be a long shot but we have to try. Please don't say anything.
