The Handywoman / Penthouse suite
Amy ogles Jayden as he pulls his top off and washes the ute.
AMY: Ooh, scrub harder! Oh, it's so soapy! Hose it off!
But it's just a dream as Amy has fallen sleep on the couch. Mishti wakes her up and Amy claims she had a nightmare but can't remember what it was about. She goes off to bed.
Penthouse suite (next day)
David tells Paul how everything was going great with Rafael and then he suddenly snapped and told him to stay away from him. He asks if he is intimidating but Paul tells him there's nothing wrong with him. He probably dodged a bullet as this guy clearly has issues.
Number 26
Dipi and Sheila rearrange the living room to "balance the romantic energy" (the couch at No.26 always ends up back in its original position, doesn't it?). Dipi has a ylang ylang candle to get Clive feeling frisky instead of Sheila's lavender one which will send him to sleep. She also suggests putting the urn with Frank's ashes away for the night.
SHEILA: Why? He won't say anything!
Gary agrees to make himself scarce tonight, and Dipi looks forward to hearing the juicy details tomorrow, but Sheila looks nervous.
The Handywoman
Rafael spies on Amy as she arrives for work. Amy can't believe Jayden is washing the ute just like in her dream!
JAYDEN: I figure I'll give your car a wash as well while I'm at it.
AMY: No, no, no no.
JAYDEN: No?
AMY: Yeah, it's fine; I like it dirty!
JAYDEN: You sure?
AMY: Yeah, I'm sure. Just stick to your regular positions... I mean, sorry, your regular responsibilities!
A load of stuff falls off the ute as Jayden hasn't secured it properly again. Rafael makes a phone call to report unsafe work practises.
Harold's Café
Amy confesses to Mishti and Elly that she had a raunchy dream about Jayden. Elly is amused and Mishti is puzzled.
MISHTI: Don't you think he's incompetent?
AMY: Yes but he is also ridiculously hot!
ELLY: I think celibacy has given someone a wandering mind.
AMY: So what do I do?
ELLY: Well you could always do him if you wanted to!
Amy doesn't want to get done for sexual harassment and resolves to be professional. Mishti tells her she can do a lot better than Jayden. Amy gets a call from Paul; a safety inspector has shown up at the site.
Robinson Heights building site
Paul and Amy are on site and hope it's just a random spot check as Amy has done everything by the book. The inspector, Lisa, introduces herself and points out that Jayden doesn't have his hard hat on. Rafael watches what's going on.
Number 26
Clive arrives with flowers and champagne.
SHEILA: I hope you brought your appetite.
CLIVE: I certainly did.
SHEILA: Because I have been cooking all day and I can't wait for you to see what I've got for you later. [Awkward pause] I meant dessert!
CLIVE: Yeah, I know.
Robinson Heights building site
Rafael continues watching as Paul and Amy talk up their health and safety to Lisa. A truck starts moving with an unsecured load and Lisa orders work to stop until she's finished her inspection.
Number 26
Clive is glad Sheila talked him into giving things another go.
SHEILA: I can be very persistent.
CLIVE: Yeah I know, it's incredibly irritating!
They are about to kiss when there's a knock at the door. It's Shane who wants to swap biology notes.
SHANE: Ah, Clive... brilliant timing!
SHEILA: Not exactly!
Sheila tells Shane that she and Clive are having a private conversation. He finally gets the message and leaves. Sheila and Clive are about to kiss again when Shane comes back in for his notes. He leaves again and Sheila and Clive finally get to kiss.
Robinson Heights building site
Amy tells Paul the driver swears he secured the load. Jayden tells Paul and Amy he had nothing to do with it and apologises about the hard hat. Lisa is issuing a provisional improvement notice; they have until March 6th to ensure the site is 100% safety compliant.
Number 26
Clive and Sheila drink a toast to new beginnings. Sheila asks whether Clive was with anyone else while they were apart. Clive says there was someone but she wasn't quite as annoying as Sheila! Sheila tells him he can be quite annoying himself! They kiss again and start undressing each other. Clive throws his jacket and knocks the urn on the floor. It smashes and dust rises.
CLIVE: Sorry, that was so clumsy of me. That's not just a jar, is it?
SHEILA: No, it's Frank... my husband!
Waterhole patio
Amy and Jayden are having a drink after work. Jayden goes to buy the next round and Elly appears. Amy insists she's not going to go there with Jayden, although she's crawling up the walls a bit. Elly returns to her colleagues.
Shane is having a drink with Dipi and wonders if the teachers would mind him asking them some biology questions. He mentions going to Sheila's and Dipi tells him he probably ruined the mood.
Number 26
Clive and Sheila stand over Frank's ashes and Sheila kicks herself for having him on display during a date.
SHEILA: Maybe it's a sign. Maybe it's a big kick up the bum to tell me to move on from Frank. He has been gone a long time. How am I supposed to clean this up?
CLIVE (with a handheld vacuum cleaner): Allow me.
SHEILA: No, no, no, no, no, I can't let you Hoover up my husband!
Clive offers to leave but Sheila doesn't want him to. At the end of the day it's just dust.
CLIVE: Let me see if I can find a temporary solution.
SHEILA: Oh no, no, no, no, because I don't think I have a jar big enough. Frank was a really big man!
They decide to go and see if the Waterhole has something.
Waterhole patio
Sheila (with a metal canister under her arm) serves David and Elly some wine and tells David she saw him with that dishy Rafael last night. David tells her it didn't work out.
Jayden tells Amy the real reason he was washing the ute was to try to impress her. He appreciates how hard she tries with him.
JAYDEN: If you weren't my boss then...
AMY: But I am.
They make eyes at each other across the table.
Lassiters Hotel room (next day)
Amy wakes up and remembers what she's done. She grabs her clothes and makes a quick exit from the room.
Number 26
Sheila and Clive emerge from the bedroom together. Gary asks Clive if he wants to stay for breakfast but Clive is running late for work. He kisses Sheila goodbye and leaves. Sheila thanks Gary for giving them space and tells him she's really happy. Gary is pleased for her.
GARY: Where's Dad?
SHEILA: Oh, he's had a change of vessel. And come to think of it, I think he probably needs a change of scenery too.
Gary offers to put the new canister in his room.
Robinson Heights building site
Mishti is on a run and catches Rafael breaking into the site. She tells him she's a police officer.
RAFAEL: You're a cop? Good, because I want Paul Robinson charged.
MISHTI: With what?
RAFAEL: Murder! He killed my mother.
