Doug tries to get Susan to wake up. He leaves to get help.

Outside Community Centre
Toadie and Steph approach for the mediation session. They hope Philippa will be reasonable so they can avoid going to court. The mediator will be there to facilitate them coming to an agreement. Toadie says they could re-schedule the meeting but Steph wants to go ahead with it, she says she'll be okay as long as Toadie does most of the talking. Steph asks if they should bring up Max's past, but Toadie doesn't think it's a good idea. He tells Steph to trust him to use that information when the time is right.

Community Centre
Philippa introduces herself to Michael, the mediator, and apparently they have a mutual associate and they had both worked for the same firm at different times. Toadie and Steph see them schmoozing and Toadie assures Steph that it's a lawyers trick which happens all the time. He tells Steph that she doesn't have to be here, he can handle it, but Steph insists she stay.

Erins Burrow Motel
Paul and Terese are pashing in their bathrobes. Paul has wanted to do this for a long time. Josh arrives and tries the door handle but it won't open. He knocks and asks Paul if he's there. Terese and Paul shout for Josh to help, while they quickly rush to get their clothes and get dressed. Josh tells them he's looking for Jimmy who has gone missing. Terese and Paul decide to go search for Jimmy when they get out, but Terese insists they search separately. Josh manages to open the door using a credit card. Terese rushes out to join the search for Jimmy, but Paul looks unsettled by how quickly she's rushed off.

Park Somewhere
Karl is searching for Jimmy when he sees the mystery woman up against a tree, holding her head and complaining about the heat. She falls to the ground and asks for Karl's help. Karl gives her some water and calls for an ambulance, while she mutters about 'Little J' being a good boy and that he'll be alright. She smiles as she looks at Karl, saying 'it's you.'

Community Centre
Toadie asks if they should take a break as it's getting a bit hot, but Philippa wants to press on. Michael says she must be used to the heat, living in Fiji. Steph is paranoid and asks how Michael knows that, but it's in the paperwork. They continue with the meeting, explaining the parenting order has been in place since 2011, but Philippa says it has been breached twice in the past fortnight.

Philippa thinks Charlie would be better with a stable mum in his life. Steph says she is stable but Philippa says she wasn't for a long time. Steph brings up Max's mental health history and not being there after Charlie was born. Philippa says they've been transparent about that, but Max's mental health isn't in question.

STEPH: Listen here, I gave birth to Charlie, I looked after him, you've waltzed in here and spent a bit of time and you think you know what's best for him. Well you don't. And YOU are sick in the head if you think you have any right being his mum!

Lassiters Complex
Imogen and Amy are trying to guess where Jimmy could be. Amy leaves to continue the search, while Imogen sees Doug sitting down and asks why he's out in the heat. Doug mistakenly calls her Gaby so Imogen corrects him. They go to the pub to cool off. Doug claims he's been out for a walk on his own.

Road somewhere
Susan lies unconscious on the ground.

Community Centre
Toadie talks to Steph privately, and thinks he should ask Michael to reschedule the meeting. Steph refuses, she won't let Philippa walk all over them. Toadie says he's concerned about her.

STEPH: Maybe I don't need you then. If Philippa can represent herself, maybe I can too.
TOADIE: Philippa is a lawyer, you will not stand a chance against her on your own.
STEPH: Well then you'd better come back in with me, hadn't you?

The Waterhole
Imogen and Doug arrive and join Josh. (Meanwhile we see the back of Kyle as he leaves the Waterhole while on his phone.) Josh asks Doug how it went at the shopping centre with Susan. Doug start to remember, he tells them that he and Susan had to walk as the car broke down. He says Susan wasn't feeling well and he thinks she needs help. He can't remember where she is or what shopping centre they went to. Josh says he'll take Doug to hospital and Imogen will look for Susan.

Sonya's Nursery
Paul passes his number to the staff and asks if Jimmy turns up that they give him a call. Terese arrives and tells Paul that she's checked with the staff at the hotel but no one has seen Jimmy. Paul says they've covered the whole area between the school, home and Lassiters.

TERESE: What about the well?
PAUL: First place I checked.

Terese offers to keep looking. Paul is going to check on Amy. Terese wants to talk about what happened earlier, but Paul thinks Terese made it clear how she felt when she left the motel. He really can't talk about it now as he needs to focus on finding Jimmy.

Park somewhere
Karl tells the mystery woman to take small sips of water, and the ambulance will be here soon. He tells her that he's a doctor.

KARL: It's your lucky day.
WOMAN: Yes it is. Destiny even.

She tells him her name is Nene, and he tells her his name. She repeats it to herself, before taking another sip of water.

Community Centre
Toadie describes how Steph has financial security, stable employment and a really good support network in the community and that Charlie enjoyed visiting Steph. Philippa says Charlie was distressed seeing Steph the first time and explains about Charlie sneaking away from Bendigo to see Steph. Steph thinks Charlie should get a say in what he wants, but Philippa concludes that Steph wants to give Charlie an ultimatum. Steph says that isn't what she meant. Philippa has held off reporting the breach of the parenting order because she thought they could solve this on their own but she was wrong. Philippa stands up to leave, telling Steph that she believes she and Max are the best parents for Charlie, and thinks Steph must know in her heart that it's true too.

Erinsborough Hospital
Doug has been placed on a drip, but they're waiting for a room to become available. Doug asks Josh if he's heard from Imogen and if she's found Susan. Josh is sure she will, but Doug feels really bad about it.

JOSH: I was thinking of postponing my trip to Brisbane.
DOUG: Don't you dare! I'd be really cross with you if you stay here.
JOSH: But pop...
DOUG: Ever since I've been back, I'm either putting people out or putting them in danger. The car accident, Susan, now you don't want to see your daughter.
JOSH: I'll go, okay.
DOUG: Good. (Pause) I can't believe I forgot Susan!
JOSH: It's not you, it's the Alzheimer's.
DOUG: This disease is making me feel like a silly old fool.
JOSH: Don't say that.
DOUG: It's true. It's like who I am is disappearing, soon there'll be nothing.

Unknown location
Amy finds Jimmy hiding behind a stack of tires. She brings him his bag and a bottle of water which he starts to drink. He says 'I didn't think we'd be gone that long.' Amy asks him who he was with.

Erinsborough Hospital
Steph and Toadie sit down together. Steph apologises, she can't believe skipping one dose of medication would lead to a meltdown like that. Toadie tells her she has heat exhaustion and the doctor said that the heat would interfere with the effectiveness of her medication. She comments on how bad it was earlier, everything got on top of her and she ignored his advice and brought up the stuff with Max. Toadie says they'll find a way to fix it. Steph wonders if Philippa is right that Charlie would be better off without her. Toadie doesn't want her to give up, but Steph doesn't want him to make excuses for her. She messed it up.

STEPH: If I never see Charlie again, it's my fault, it's my responsibility.

Sonya's Nursery
Terese approaches Paul, but then changes her mind and starts walking away. Paul sees her and calls her over. She hears they've found Jimmy, and they're all relieved. Terese never thought he was a nature lover, but he likes the peace and quiet, it helps him take stock, at least it did after Kate died. He apologises for being abrupt before, he used Jimmy as an excuse because he was scared of the direction they're going in. He lists all of Terese's great qualities, and if things were different he would be pursuing it but it isn't the right time. He needs her friendship.

PAUL: Look at me, I'm not in the greatest shape and you're coming out of a marriage.
TERESE: Oh you're right, yeah, I'm on the rebound.
PAUL: So we're agreed.
TERESE: Agreed.

They shake hands. Karl arrives to get a drink. He says it's meant to get cooler now, he's about to head home. Paul assumes that means they've found Susan. Karl is shocked to hear she had gone missing and wonders when this happened.

Road somewhere
Imogen finds Susan unconscious on the ground and calls for an ambulance.

Erinsborough Hospital
Amy is looking through the window into Nene's ward as she lies in the bed. Paul arrives and asks if that is Jimmy's room, but Jimmy is upstairs in another room. Paul is pleased that Jimmy got through this heatwave. Amy says Jimmy will be pleased when he sees Paul, but that's because Jimmy knows Paul can get him ice cream. Paul heads upstairs to see Jimmy, but Amy says she'll be up in five. As Paul leaves, Amy goes into Nene's ward. She takes Nene's hand, saying hi to her mother, asking how she is.

Unmissable Drama
- Karl asks Imogen how long Susan was out of the sun. Imogen says Susan is dangerously dehydrated.
- Amy tells Kyle that her mum can be a little bit unpredictable.
- Kyle invites Nene to stay with them, but Amy thinks she should stay in the hotel. Nene thinks Amy is worried that she'll act up.
- Courtney gives Paige one week before she and Mark are back together. Paige asks Courtney to call her friend and set her up on a date, because she is moving on.
- Xanthe catches Sheila dancing in the garden.
