History Wall
Imogen rushes to Nate's aid as he lies in pain on the road. He manages to get up by himself, though. Terese turns up out of the blue and helps too, saying Georgia's in Harold's - so Imogen suggests they take Nate to her, to get his bruises tended to.

Fitzgerald Motors
Tyler is gently mocking Paige's lack of knowledge about car parts. She's annoyed that he finds their predicament amusing, but Tyler reminds her that they're stuck here, so she needn't be a tool about it.

PAIGE: Sorry? I'm the tool?!

Mark shows up, and Paige is forced to claim she's been given a job by garage owner Stubbsie, as she needed the extra money. Mark seems to accept this, and says he needs new wiper blades, so Tyler sees to it while Paige looks worried.

Suite 1 Eclipse Apartments
Paul is having a meeting with Toadie about the sale of the hotel to the Quill Group, although it's made clear that the apartment is still his. Paul is wondering what he'll do with himself without Lassiter's to run.

TOADIE: You'll have the millions in the bank account to cushion the blow. And if that doesn't keep you busy, I'm sure being mayor will fill the void.
PAUL: Thank you for the sympathy (!)

Toadie reflects that he'll have a new landlord as a result of the sale, and says that Paul should let any of the other affected businesses in the Complex know of the sale, as he expects Quill will soon send in an acquisitions manager. Naomi turns up, and Toadie leaves them to it.

Harold's Store
Georgia is assessing Nate's injuries; he doesn't think his fingers are broken, to Imogen's relief, but Georgia thinks he should get himself x-rayed anyway. When Georgia asks, Nate is swift to blame Imogen for his plight, but she insists it was an accident. She starts quoting road safety legislation at him, but it ends up backfiring when she incriminates herself - though she still tries to blame Nate for riding past within the door zone at too fast a speed. Nate accuses Imogen of negligence and she likewise, but Georgia intervenes and takes Nate off to the hospital.

Fitzgerald Motors
Paige tells Tyler she's worried that Mark is suspicious about her working at the garage, and is afraid they'll end up in jail, convinced he wouldn't turn a blind eye. They start arguing about Paige's lack of care for the parts she's sorting, and it gets heated when Tyler calls Bailey a delinquent for stealing Michelle's car.

PAIGE: No wonder my sister dropped you.
TYLER: Yeah, my brother dodged a bullet when he dumped you too.

Paige loses her rag, and walks out, telling Tyler he's on his own.

Suite 1 Eclipse Apartments
Naomi is drafting an email to the Lassiter's staff, informing them of the sale to Quill. Once she's done, she hands Paul a resignation letter. He's unwilling to take it, telling her how relieved he was when she showed up for work today. But she insists that with her debt cleared, there's no reason for her to stay.

PAUL: But I value you so much. I don't want to lose you.
NAOMI: What is it about me that you value?

Paul rattles off a list of her strong-points, before telling her he 'values her full stop'. But she leaves the letter with him and prepares to walk out.

PAUL: Oh, come on. I'll give you more money.
NAOMI: It's not your money that I want.

But Paul says he's not accepting her resignation, and begs her to reconsider.

We cut to Naomi and Paul leaving the lift in the lobby, where they're swiftly accosted by Terese and Lauren, demanding answers about the sale of Lassiter's. Terese demands to know if she still has a job, but Paul gets angry and tells her to blame her brother for the sale. Trying to calm everyone down, Naomi explains that Paul has been trying to pull out of the sale, which is why he kept it quiet.

Paul goes on to explain that the hotel and Waterhole staff will be retained - but tells a worried Lauren that he can't guarantee continuity of rates and conditions for business tenants.

No 32
Paige is swimming in the pool when Tyler shows up, trying to make amends for their row earlier. He tries to persuade her to come back to the garage, as Michelle will freak if they're not there. Tyler explains he offered to steal a car in exchange for Michelle letting Paige out of the arrangement, but that Michelle declined.

PAIGE: Oh, gosh. What a guy (!)

Paige insists she wants out - claiming that she's going to come clean and confess all, and say that she pressured Bailey into stealing the car. Tyler reminds her that they could go to jail, but Paige says it's the only way to resolve this. Tyler tells Paige to think it through before she does anything.

No 28
Georgia is bandaging up Nate's arm, and tells him not to be so hard on Imogen - but he thinks she's bossy and full of herself. Imogen shows up at the door then, apologising and bringing him chocolates as a peace offering. While Georgia shamelessly scoffs the chocolates, Imogen continues to apologise for her behaviour, and Nate softens towards her, admitting he may have been in the wrong too.

NATE: I appreciate you coming round.
GEORGIA (mouth full): Mmm. So do I.

As she prepares to leave, Imogen asks Nate to let her know if she can do anything to help.

NATE: Erm, there is one thing...

Sonya's Nursery
Comedy music ensues, as Nate sits back watching Imogen shovelling manure into one of the flower beds, as payback for the accident since he can't lift a shovel himself. Mark turns up in uniform, and asks after Nate's injury. Nate plays it down, and doesn't let on about Imogen's negligence in opening the car door - for which she gives him a grateful glance. Mark mentions that Tyler and Paige are working together now, and asks if they know anything about it. They don't, and Imogen suggests Mark go and ask Tyler. He does, and Imogen ogles his bum as he leaves!

NATE: Those Brennans - not the greatest communicators on the planet, are they?
IMOGEN: No - but they have other qualities!
NATE: Is that so? (!)

Imogen laughs.

No 32
In the garden, Lauren comes over to the pool, while talking on the phone to Bailey. When she hangs up, Paige prepares to tell her about Bailey stealing the car and her subsequent cover-up. But before she can, Lauren gets emotional, admitting she's worried about the future of Harold's Store now the Quill Group owns the Complex - and breaking down in tears as she tells Paige how much she misses Bailey. Paige comforts Lauren, having evidently decided not to burden her with any more bad news.

Lassiter's Complex
Terese is quizzing Toadie about the details of the Quill Group contract; he can't talk about them, but says she has nothing to worry about. She presses him further, and he admits the staff retention clause is iron-clad, so her job is safe. Relieved and suddenly much more positive, Terese says the change in ownership might even be a good thing, since Quill has tried to poach her before - and says that she might even persuade them to listen to her ideas and spend more money on the hotel, which would be just what it needs.

Suite 1 Eclipse Apartments
As Naomi and Paul go over paperwork, she tells him that the Quill acquisitions manager is due to arrive any minute. Paul admits the sale has made him sad, but says that he and Naomi have 'exciting times ahead' of them. She still seems set on resigning, however. He bribes her with some free vacation time, saying she'll come back refreshed and ready for work again.

NAOMI: And what if I don't come back?

Paul takes her hands.

PAUL: Hey - we're a good team, you and I. We can do some great things together. So, just please, please stay, won't you? Oh, come on, darling, I - Naomi, I - I need you.
NAOMI: ... Well, alright.
PAUL: Thank you. Thank you.

Sonya's Nursery
Imogen and Nate are still talking about Mark and Tyler.

IMOGEN: Come on, you've got to admit the Brennans are hot!
NATE: Yeah. Mark's a good guy. But that complicated broody dude attitude doesn't really do it for me.

Joking around, Nate takes a snapshot of Imogen on his phone - but does it with his supposedly bad hand! Imogen realises he's been over-egging his injury, and furiously chases him around the nursery with a shovelful of manure, while Nate laughs.

IMOGEN: Apologise right now, or you are getting this in your face. I am serious!

Fitzgerald Motors
Paige shows up to talk to Tyler, admitting she couldn't go through with handing herself in, as it would mean telling Lauren who is already suffering enough. She agrees to come back to work at the garage until they figure a way out of their predicament. She says they need to start acting like a team, and have each other's backs - no more messing around.

TYLER: What was that bit about backs again? You know, my back could use a rub.

Paige throws a bottle of water at him jokingly, telling him this is serious. She walks off, smiling to herself.

Ramsay Street
Mark is checking the mailbox when Naomi turns up. She apologises for snapping at him earlier, but reveals that she's decided to stay on working for Paul after all - adding that it will stay 'strictly business' from now on. Mark invites Naomi in for a 'friendly coffee'. She says that would be nice, and goes into No 24 with him.

Paige watches them sadly from across the road, but then gets a text from Tyler - it's a photo of his torso and a message saying: 'Because of you, this is my new work uniform.' She laughs to herself, but Imogen catches her looking at the message, and amusedly remarks that she had no idea Paige and Tyler were so serious. Paige insists it's just a joke, and that she's just helping Tyler at the garage.

IMOGEN: Hey, it's fine. You can have my cast-offs!
PAIGE: There is no way that I'm attracted to someone who used such a lame excuse to take a selfie of their abs, okay?

Imogen remarks that she stinks (from the manure), and Paige agrees. Promising to explain later, Imogen goes inside to get a shower. Once she's gone, Paige goes back to ogling the picture of Tyler on her phone, and smiles again.

Lassiter's Complex
Terese is telling Lauren how she now feels more positive about the hotel sale to Quill, but Lauren is still uncertain, saying it's better the devil you know.

Spying a man in a suit outside the hotel, Terese guesses it's the new acquisitions manager from Quill, and goes over to talk to him. When she approaches him, however, she's horrified to realise that it's none other than her former boss, almost-flame and attempted assaulter, Ezra Hanley.

TERESE: Ezra!

He smiles mockingly at her.
