Vanessa and Francesca come in, still talking about Rhys. Or rather Francesca is, and Vanessa is telling her drop it because nothing is going on. Lucas comes to see what's happening. Vanessa tells Lucas that Rhys hit Connor and it looked like he hurt his hand. Francesca says that's not important. So Vanessa tells her that she and Rhys dated, but it was over before she met Lucas. Lucas adds that it's not ideal having him living on the street, but he knows the situation. Francesca asks if Vanessa still has feelings for him. She replies that of course she doesn't, but she still wanted to check he was OK.
VANESSA: I'm not heartless.
FRANCESCA: You're too generous for your own good.
LUCAS: And that's why I love her.

Bradley is pouring out a glass of wine. He covers Summer's eyes and tells her to taste the wine and tell him what it is. She thinks he isn't serious, but he says he takes wine tasting very seriously, so she takes a sip and says it's a Pinot from 2007. Bradley is impressed. Summer admits she saw the bottle! He says she has a good eye for detail. She says that they should take Monday off, so they can have a long weekend. He adds they are going to the Yarra Valley.
SUMMER: I'll even let you bring your blindfold.
At a nearby table, Karl is looking at the menu and Susan is watching Bradley and Summer. She says how loved-up they are looking. Karl ruefully comments that at least someone got lucky. He says he's happy for her. Susan says she wants to be happy for her. Karl tells her to let it go, and BE happy. Susan says she doesn't know if she made the right decision letting Bradley stay. Karl says it's none of their business. She says she thought he was worried. He says he is, but Summer is a big girl, and if she gets hurt, she gets hurt.

Connor and Toadie are sitting in their boxers playing a Playstation game. Sonya is in the kitchen, and Georgia tells her that her bags are packed and she's left a surprise for her. She adds that it's a thermos of peppermint tea and Katy Perry mixtape, then realises that it's not a surprise any more. Sonya wanders into the lounge and suggests that the "boys" should put some clothes on.
TOADIE: Can't think of any scenario that would actually require pants in the next few days.
Sonya tells them to behave, and on her way out, asks Georgia if she can handle them. Georgia says she grew up in a house of country boys. Sonya just confirms she's sure.
GEORGIA: (mock Irish accent) To be sure, to be sure. Hey, that's not racist is it?
Toadie and Georgia see Sonya off, then Toadie returns to the game. Georgia wants to join in, but the boys ignore her. She asks to play the winner, but they continue to ignore her. She asks if there's another controller, but Toadie claims that Callum broke it. After getting them some beer, she tries to sit down, but they won't budge up. There's a knock at the door and she goes to open it. It's Kyle. Georgia asks if he's moving in. He says he's brought over some of Jade's stuff and wants Toadie (or Sonya, presumably) to look after it. Toadie switches off the TV, and tells Kyle to sit down, because they need a third compadre. Kyle hands Georgia the box, and she looks put out.
KYLE: If I stay, do I have to take my pants off?
CONNOR: No, but it is highly recommended, so...
Kyle takes his trousers off, and Georgia sighs. Kyle asks Toadie and Connor what they are playing. Georgia tells him he'll never get a look in, but Toadie starts to set him up. Georgia tells Toadie to set her up as well.
GEORGIA: You can call me Goldfish. You know, like 'Toad' and 'Squid' and 'Jellyfish' and because of my hair.
CONNOR: But your hair is not orange.
GEORGIA: Well...it's gold.
The three of them are dubious. Then they all decide they want some nachos, and look at her hopefully. She agrees to make some, but says that there will be no more video games - they are going to play something she can join in. They are all taken aback, Connor saying it's weird.

Charlie's
Summer comes over to where Bradley is sitting and suggests they get tickets for the (tennis) Australian Open. He points out it isn't until January. She asks if he's looking for another job. He says no: he's found one. In Perth. She asks why he didn't tell her and he says he just found out. She asks when he's leaving. He tells her that Susan reprimanded him over what happened. She asks if that's why he's leaving: because he clashed with Susan. He refutes this: he never stays in the same place for long. Summer is a bit upset, and wonders if they're still going away. Bradley says of course they are.

Vanessa wanders in, and asks Rhys if he's Ok. He says in an offhand way that he's fine. He tells her to get the point of why she's there. Her secret's safe: he's not going to tell her mum about her fake wedding. Vanessa thinks he's unbelievable, and tells him he can't keep blaming her for what happened with his hand. He has to move on. He says maybe they should both move on. She looks at him sadly, then leaves.
Lassiters complex
Summer asks Bradley if he is leaving because of her: she tells him that if he wants to break up, he doesn't have to go to Perth. He says he doesn't want to break up, but the job is a great opportunity. She wants to know where it leaves her, and he says she should do the same: she should always look for opportunities. She's not sure she could get work in Perth, but he assures her she would.
BRADLEY: Take a risk, Summer. You only live once.
They kiss, and Summer looks excited.

He says it's not a good enough reason. She says she needs her parents' support. He says she can't marry someone she doesn't have feelings for. She says it doesn't matter that she doesn't love Lucas. He says it does. She asks him why it matters to him, and to give her one good reason why she should end it. He looks as if he's trying to tell her something, but then just repeats that she can't marry him. She asks if that's all he's going to say, and goes inside. He looks upset.

LUCAS: Hang on a minute. Did he actually say, 'Summer, I want you to come with me'?
SUMMER: Not in those exact words. But, yes, I think he did.
Chris is worried. Summer says she's going for herself. Chris thinks it's not like her. She points out that he and Tash have changed: why can't she? She asks him to be happy for her. He says he is, but they are all going to miss her.

Bradley hands Susan an envelope. She guesses, correctly, that it's his resignation. He says he's giving two weekss notice, as per his contract. She says coldly that he begged her for the job, and he says that's not how he remembered it. She points out he's worked there one month: it was a waste of time and resource, and exactly what she expected. They'll pay him, but not to bother about the two weeks: he should just move on straightaway. As he turns to leave, she asks if he's told Summer. He says he has. Susan asks how she took it. He says it's none of Susan's business, but Summer took it well. Susan looks at the envelope with Bradley's resignation and stuffs it in a drawer without reading it.
Harold's
Karl is queuing at Harold's to buy the ingredients for spag bol. Susan comes in and Karl invites her over. He asks why she looks so smug (not in those words). She tells him that Bradley has resigned and is moving interstate. He asks if Summer knows and she says that apparently Summer is taking it well. He is doubtful, but she points out that he said they should trust Summer. He thinks this might be Summer's hardest break-up, even though it isn't her first.

Outside the Erinsborough News
Bradley is leaving the office with a box of his possessions, and meets Summer coming the other way. She asks him when he's leaving, and he tells her he's leaving tomorrow. He apologises that he can't make the Yarra Valley weekend, but says she should take some mates and send him the photos. She replies that they could trade it in for the Margaret River. She's going to stop making lists and start ticking things off, and she thanks him for his encouragement. She tells him she's going to tells Susan asap.
SUMMER: I'm coming with you!
BRADLEY: And you're not just doing this for me, right?
SUMMER: You should be so lucky!
She says she needs a change and Perth is as good as anywhere. He says it's great news. They hug.
