Toadie is keen for Connor to stay for at least one night, but Sonya's worried it will turn into days or weeks. Toadie tells her he'd make sure that didn't happen but Sonya puts her foot down. Reluctantly, Toadie goes to break the news to Connor, telling him that with Georgia, Callum and the baby on the way they're a little bit crowded at the moment.
CONNOR: I didn't come half way around the world for the beer at Charlie's, you know. I came to see you.
TOADIE: I know. And we can still catch up.
CONNOR: What about the stuff we've got planned for Paul?
TOADIE: We can still do all that too.
CONNOR: But I can't stay?
Toadie suggests Connor could get a room at Lassiter's, but he can't even afford a new pillow, never mind a hotel room. Toadie offers to pay but Connor's not having it.
CONNOR: I'll just go and stay with Lyn.
TOADIE: Lyn moved out a few years ago.
CONNOR: Okay, well then, the Kennedys.
TOADIE: Karl and Susan have broken up.
CONNOR: What, again?
Toadie says Connor's not likely to know a lot of people as much has changed since he was last in Ramsay Street, but he promises he'll sort something out for him.
Harold's
Francesca is trying to go through floral arrangements for the wedding with Vanessa, but she's busy working - Francesca suspects she's also still upset about Sonya using the name Nell. Rhys comes in for takeaway and spies the wedding magazines; Vanessa hides them under the counter. She tells Rhys he gets a free drink; he objects initially, but she tells him they're on a special. Francesca asks Vanessa why she is acting so awkwardly with Rhys and why she's hidden the magazines - but Vanessa convinces her that Rhys is just a fussy customer, and that she didn't want the magazines getting dirty.

Toadie is trying to paint Connor in a positive light so Kyle will let him stay, explaining No 30 is full up and that Sonya isn't keen on another lodger. Kyle agrees to let Connor stay, and Connor thanks him - they crack open some beers to celebrate. Toadie has to go, but reminds Connor they have an early start in the morning. As he leaves, Rhys comes in, and is annoyed to find Kyle has agreed to Connor staying without asking him. Kyle tells Connor it's not a problem, and asks what's up with Rhys. He just tells them to keep the noise down, and strops off to his room, while Connor and Kyle get started on the beers.

Sonya apologises to Toadie for not wanting Connor camping in the lounge; she's feeling guilty, but Toadie says Connor's getting on well with Kyle. He explains he and Connor will get a chance to catch up tomorrow as he's organised a fun-filled day of fishing; but Sonya reminds him they have a prenatal class in the morning. She suggests they rebook the class, but Toadie says she's his first priority, and that he and Connor can catch up another time.

Vanessa comes in from work with the wedding magazines, and asks Lucas if her mother has said anything to him about Rhys, after what happened at Harold's earlier. She hasn't, but Vanessa is worried that Francesca may find out about her and Rhys. Francesca comes in as they are talking - she has some news for them. Father Vincent, the priest who will be performing their wedding, is coming over tomorrow to talk to them - he already knows Vanessa, but is keen to meet Lucas. Lucas says it's fine, and Francesca goes to bed, but Vanessa is worried Father Vincent won't give them his blessing if they're not convincing enough. Lucas suggests they postpone his visit until they've had time to prep, but Vanessa says you can't cancel on Father Vincent - and tells him they'll have to learn everything there is to know about one another tonight!
The next morning, Lucas is all dressed smartly in preparation for Father Vincent's visit - Vanessa gives him a quick test to make sure he has his facts straight, and tells him he'll be fine. Father Vincent arrives and Francesca shows him in, where Vanessa introduces him to Lucas. While Francesca makes tea, Father Vincent begins interrogating them - and they're worried when he tells them he's not interested in their past (which they've spent all night comparing notes on), but their future.
Later, Father Vincent and Vanessa are having a one-to-one chat; she insists she and Lucas love one another, but he's quick to ask her about how many children she and Lucas are planning on having. Vanessa says she wants four children, at least, but when Father Vincent asks Lucas the same question, he says he only wants one! Likewise they give differing answers about where they see themselves in ten years' time, what sort of schooling they would like for their child(ren), and their thoughts about growing old together.
Harold's
Connor and Kyle are having a hung-over breakfast when Toadie and Sonya walk in; Connor thanks Toadie for the 'alarm gag', without explaining what this entailed! Kyle and Connor reveal they went out and played Zombie Paintball last night - Toadie is clearly jealous. He's forced to break the news that he won't be going fishing with Connor due to the prenatal class with Sonya. Connor makes out he doesn't mind, but all the baby talk puts Kyle off his breakfast and he heads home, closely followed by Connor. Sonya asks Toadie if he's good to go; he puts on a smile, but is evidently not thrilled about missing out on his day with Connor.
Erinsborough Hospital
Predictably, Rhys is hosting the prenatal class. Toadie takes the opportunity to thank him for letting Connor stay, but Rhys simply replies that he had nothing to do with it and that Connor stopped him getting any sleep last night, by trying on his scrubs and stethoscope! Toadie apologises, but is rather amused. Rhys begins the class, but Toadie isn't listening - largely because he's just got a picture message on his phone from Connor, of him trying on Rhys's scrubs! Toadie struggles to stop himself laughing, much to Rhys's annoyance.

Father Vincent says his goodbyes; he says he's impressed with Lucas, but that Vanessa seems less certain about their marriage. He's sure they love each other but got the feeling she was telling him what she thought he wanted to hear. Father Vincent wants to make sure she's committed to making the marriage work, and Vanessa insists she is. Father Vincent's happy to give them his blessing, but would like them to spend a little more time with him in counselling sessions, to make sure they're on the same page. Vanessa says she wants the marriage more than anything, but Francesca looks suspicious.

Toadie and Sonya arrive back from the prenatal class; Toadie didn't enjoy it that much, and wonders aloud what Connor is up to with Kyle, other than throwing up. Unbeknown to Toadie, Connor is actually in the house, and listening to what they're saying! Sonya explains that she called Connor during a break at the class and told him he could stay after all - both to give Rhys a break and because he knows Toadie needs to spend time with his friend. Toadie tells Sonya she's amazing and kisses her, while Connor cracks open more beer.
Later, Toadie and Connor are trouserless and enjoying some beers on the sofa, when Sonya walks in; she explains she's booked herself into a pregnant mothers' retreat at Ocean Grove. She explains she didn't want Toadie to feel guilty about spending time with Connor while she was around, so is getting away for a few days to be pampered. Toadie and Connor half-jokingly suggest Sonya take Callum and Georgia with her, but she's having none of it. She does, however, give Toadie her credit card to buy pizza with while she's away!
Ramsay Street
Vanessa and Francesca leave No 32; Francesca is questioning Vanessa about what Father Vincent said. She's surprised that Vanessa hasn't got her plans for her life with Lucas all mapped out - it isn't like her. Vanessa insists friendship and security are what matter to her in a relationship now. Francesca asks her if her relationship with Lucas is real, and she insists it is.
Charlie's
Toadie and Connor play pool; Toadie promises to introduce Connor to Callum when they get home later. Rhys comes in, but looks a bit cranky, and sits away from them at the bar. Toadie gives Connor some money and tells him to go and buy a round, including for Rhys, to make amends for keeping him up last night. The boys rope Rhys into playing some pool, but it quickly turns sour when Vanessa comes in with Francesca, and Connor starts eyeing up Vanessa, saying he'd never have left Erinsborough if all the women had looked like her. Toadie warns him to tone it down, as she's Rhys's ex, but Connor keeps on digging the hole.
CONNOR: So the baby's not yours?
RHYS: She's gonna marry the father.
CONNOR: Is that why you broke up?
RHYS: No!
CONNOR: Mate, I feel your pain. You know, I've got a daughter myself, Maddy. But at least she's mine.
RHYS: Hang on - what's that supposed to mean?
CONNOR: It wasn't easy for us either. But her hanging around and rubbing your nose in it - I mean, it's a bit low.
Rhys sees red and punches Connor square in the face! Toadie keeps them apart to stop it going any further, and Vanessa demands to know what's going on. Toadie says it's nothing and leaves with Connor, while Vanessa asks after Rhys's hand and says he should get it checked out. He insists it's fine and leaves, but Francesca watches their interaction with suspicion.
Lassiter's Complex
Francesca follows Vanessa out of Charlie's and demands to know what was going on with Rhys. Vanessa tries to claim it was just neighbourly concern, but Francesca knows she's being lied to, and demands to know the truth.
