Erinsborough Hospital
A barely-clad Rhys and Vanessa cower behind the curtain as Karl talks to his patient. When it sounds like they've gone, Rhys creeps out to check the coast is clear - but Karl comes back in and catches them! Outside in the ward, Karl chastises Rhys for his lack of professionalism, and says he will be obliged to make a note of this on Rhys's record, warning him he'll take more serious action next time. Kyle comes in, asking if Rhys wouldn't mind dropping a heater from No 26 down at the yard, as it's getting cold. Rhys agrees, and Kyle walks off. Karl coughs as he sees Vanessa kissing Rhys again.
Charlie's
Susan, Priya and Ajay are having a drink, but Ajay wants to go home as he has a meeting early in the morning. When Priya asks what it is, he's cagey, but eventually admits that there's the possibility he'll be pre-selected for a parliamentary seat if he wins at the council election next week. Susan congratulates him but Priya doesn't look thrilled, and is annoyed he didn't mention it earlier.
(Next morning)
No 26
Vanessa and Rhys start making breakfast and offer for Jade to join them, but she's just heading out for a run. They don't have all the necessary ingredients for pancakes, since it was Kyle's turn to go shopping - but Rhys hadn't told Vanessa that they'd split up. Jade says she's glad to see the back of Kyle, and leaves. Vanessa realises Kyle's sleeping in the yard and understands why he wanted the heater. Rhys seems unconcerned, and offers to take Vanessa to breakfast, but she looks unimpressed with his attitude.
Lassiter's Complex
Kate and Sophie discuss the need to clean No 24, as the Salvation Army are sending somebody over to do an inspection. Sophie offers to help out. Kate sees Jade and goes to talk to her, but Jade has no interest in what she has to say. Kyle turns up and tries talking to Jade as well, but she runs off.
Harold's
Kyle demands to know what Kate said to Jade to put her in such a mood. Kate says she just wanted to talk to her, but Kyle tells her to stay away from Jade in future. Sophie gets involved, telling Kyle not to speak to Kate like that, as what happened is as much his fault. Kyle leaves.
Lassiter's Complex
Rhys and Vanessa arrive for breakfast and run into Kyle, who reminds Rhys about the heater as he thinks he got frostbite this morning. Rhys finds this amusing rather than concerning, and Vanessa is annoyed with him, asking Kyle if he'd like to stay and have breakfast with them. Kyle declines and leaves, while Vanessa lays into Rhys for not showing enough concern for Kyle, and storms off herself.
No 24
Vanessa angrily makes pancakes and offers some to Kate and Sophie. Kate and Vanessa talk about Rhys: Kate says he's not sure Rhys has ever had real friends, which might explain his behaviour. Kate is incredulous when Vanessa says Rhys is warm and thoughtful with her, and says it's not always that easy to make someone change.
Dial-A-Kyle
Rhys brings the heater around to Kyle's yard, as well as some supplies including heat packs, a flask of coffee and a tin of tuna - but with no can opener. Kyle expresses surprise that Rhys went to the trouble of making him coffee, and asks him to stay and share it, which he does. There's only one cup but Kyle reassures Rhys he doesn't have cooties! They chat about Jade: Rhys says she's pretending she's fine, as usual.

Ajay goes over the notes for his upcoming meeting. Priya says he should have told her earlier, so she could have helped him prepare: they're married and are supposed to share things. Ajay apologises and said he just didn't want to get their hopes up. Paul comes in and begins goading them: he's heard Ajay's up for parliamentary pre-selection, and opines that Ajay won't have much time for his family once he's in parliament. Priya tells Paul she's behind Ajay and to scurry away! Ajay thanks her for her support and leaves, but she looks unsure after he's gone.
No 24
The Salvos' representative, Phillip Reeve, arrives to inspect the house, and is greeted by Kate and Sophie. He makes notes, which Sophie notices is unusual - but he tells her everything will be fine as long as their circumstances haven't changed. Realising this means he still thinks she lives there, Sophie quickly responds to Reeve's questions about 'her' bedroom, lying to him and confirming the décor was her choice. While he inspects the yard, Sophie tells Kate to play along, warning her she'll lose the house if she doesn't. Kate doesn't want to lie, but Sophie reminds him that Vanessa, Lucas and the baby will also be homeless if she doesn't. Reeve asks to speak to Kate alone.
Charlie's
Susan and Priya drink coffee: Priya confirms Ajay's meeting went well and Susan says she must be thrilled. Priya admits she's unsure. Susan says it's normal to be apprehensive, but that there must be perks of being married to an MP - like getting to influence education policy! Priya agrees, but still looks unhappy.
No 28
Ajay and Karl drink tea: Ajay tells Karl that if he gets into parliament it will be the best thing ever for his family. Karl warns him he won't have much free time, worrying about the band, but Ajay says it might actually give them some publicity. Karl agrees, and says they could use it as a platform to write political songs!
Harold's
Vanessa comes in to find Kyle having dinner - with Rhys, who has even paid for it. Kyle says Rhys has been a good mate, then leaves them to it. Rhys basks in the glory of his new-found compassionate side, and all is forgiven by Vanessa, who invites Rhys back for afternoon tea.
No 24
Reeve asks Kate if she's still happy in the house, and she says they are. Asking about any family developments, Kate denies there have been any - but the rep tells her he saw pregnancy books in Sophie's room. Sophie bursts in, having been eavesdropping, and tells him she's pregnant, so they need the house more than ever. Kate can't go along with it, however, and reveals the lie, explaining that Sophie now lives next door with Paul and that they have new tenants, Lucas and Vanessa. Reeve says this changes things, and calls his supervisors.
Sophie tells Kate she should have lied, as Rhys and Vanessa arrive. Reeve comes back in, saying that, since Sophie is settled at Paul's and Kate is in employment, the Salvos will be selling the house in order to raise more funds for their charitable activities. Vanessa and Kate realise they'll have to find somewhere else to live.
