No.28
Karl comes out of his bedroom and sees Lucas standing at the front door, behind the screen. He awkwardly asks Karl about his car service, but really he wants advice about morning sickness.

Hospital
Rhys is tending to Vanessa who is apparently dehydrated. He sees from her records that she lives on Ramsay Street and she tells him that Lucas is the father of her baby - although she's "going it alone".

No.28
Karl is curious as to why Lucas wants to know about morning sickness. He says that Kate has taken in a pregnant woman but doesn't reveal his involvement.

Hospital
Vanessa asks Rhys for anti-sickness medication.

No.28
Karl is still telling Lucas about morning sickness.

No.30
Toadie comes in and finds Sonya dressed in a red dress, wanting to go out dancing. Callum is not very impressed at their kissing! Sonya thinks Callum might be old enough to stay home alone and he is very pleased. He asks if he can invite a couple of friends over to watch DVDs.

Coffee Shop
Rani's phone rings and she's worried to see that it's Callum. He invites her over to hang out at No.30 tonight, so she quickly says she's doing homework with Sophie. He says she can bring Sophie along and they can all hang out together.

Outside the Coffee Shop
Rani isn't sure about going round to No.30, and isn't even sure her parents will let her.

Dial-a-Kyle
Jade arrives with her puppy, who is out of control. Kyle picks the puppy up, fondly. Rhys jogs by and they ask how is day was. He says in a loud voice that he hates seeing a woman abandoned by a man who "knocked her up". Lucas hears this from the yard of the garage and scowls.

RHYS: Some men are just gutless when it comes to taking responsibility for their actions.
LUCAS: If you've got something to say mate, then say it!
RHYS: I'm just talking about my day, mate! If it makes you feel uncomfortable...
KYLE:(surprised, to Lucas) Dude, are you alright?

Lucas just strops off. He looks over at Grease Monkeys and sees a woman with a crying baby outside.

No.24 (driveway)
Lucas arrives home, and then so does Vanessa, in a taxi. Lucas pays for the taxi and then asks Vanessa how she is. He also apologises for doubting her over the paternity of the baby. He also mentions that Rhys had a go at him about it.

VANESSA: Rhys? Doctor Rhys?
LUCAS: Yeah, about you being in the hospital by yourself.
VANESSA: Right.

She marches off.

LUCAS: What are you doing?
VANESSA: Giving that man a piece of my mind.
LUCAS: Well...he lives in that house, there.

Vanessa turns and marches towards No.26.

No.26
Kyle and Jade are playing with the puppy in the living room when Vanessa barges in.

VANESSA: Who the hell do you think you are?! ...I'm looking for Rhys.

Jade points towards the kitchen.

JADE: He's in there.
VANESSA:(marching into the kitchen) You had no right to go to LUcas!

Surprised, Jade and Kyle turn towards the kitchen.

RHYS: I didn't go to him, and I certainly didn't mention names!
VANESSA: What kind of doctor are you?! I don't need you poking your nose into my business! I can look after myself!
RHYS: I was trying to help!
VANESSA: You're arrogant, sexist, patronising.
RHYS: Hey wait...
VANESSA:(interrupting) My private life is none of your business, so back off!

She storms out. Kyle and Jade try not to laugh.

KYLE: Well, you're making mates all over the place today!
JADE: Mmm, not often you can't get a word in!
RHYS: Oh, shut up!

He goes off to his bedroom.

No.30
Sophie and Rani have arrived to hang out with Callum. Sonya and Toadie head off, telling Callum to be good.

Callum suggests that they can watch DVDs - he's hired some Bollywood movies for Rani. One of them meets with her approval.

(Later)

Sophie asks Callum why he's suddenly into Bollywood and he says Rani got him into it.

(Later)

Sophie tells Rani that Callum is only into Bollywood because Rani is.

(Later)

Sophie tells Callum that he's being a really good friend to Rani.

(Later)

Sophie tells Rani that Callum really likes her. She advises her to play it cool.

(Later)

Sophie tells Callum that he should keep looking for things Rani would like. He says they could have Indian food for dinner!

Harold's Store
Sonya and Toadie are dropping off dry cleaning on their way out. Toadie is pleased to see Sonya so chirpy tonight. She says that they should make the most of their life, which is already wonderful.

Rhys comes in.

VANESSA: I'm not going to spit in your food, if that's what you're wondering. I had issues with what you did, so I let you know. Now, we move on. Unless you've got an issue with it?
RHYS: No. No, no, I mean, that sounds good.
VANESSA: Should thank you as well. Whatever you said to Lucas kinda worked.
RHYS: Oh, good. Although I'd prefer it if you weren't back at work so soon.
VANESSA: I'm broke, and before you say *anything*, I'm fine looking after myself. What's it going to be? Club sandwich? Something different?
RHYS: Surprise me.
VANESSA: I can do that.

She walks off to the kitchen, leaving Rhys quietly impressed.

Charlie's
Sonya, Toadie and Karl are having a drink. Sonya says that she and Toadie should perhaps go on an adventure holiday - maybe to Europe. Jade comes over and says she's having dinner in front of the TV with the dog. She does not look impressed!

No.26
Jade begs Kyle to put the dog outside for an hour, moaning that she wants a night out too. Rhys smirks at their domestic "bliss" and much to their surprise, offers to look after the dog while they go out. Jade suspiciously asks him what they have to do in return, and he says nothing!

KYLE:(surprised) Dude, are you feeling alright?
RHYS: If you two don't want to go out...
JADE: No...done!
KYLE: Thanks, mate!

She hands him the dog and he cuddles it. In the kitchen, Kyle and Jade are stunned.

KYLE: What's with him? Maybe we should get her around to yell at him more often!
JADE: Let's get changed before he realises what he's done!

In the living room, Rhys is playing with the dog.

Harold's Store
Lucas is buying groceries and asks Vanessa how she is. As he turns to leave, he has left a packet of ginger tea on the counter.

VANESSA: Oh, you forgot something! Your tea.
LUCAS: No, I didn't. It's for you, it's supposed to help.

Vanessa is quite pleased at this little gesture.

No.30
Sophie, Callum and Rani are just finishing watching a Bollywood film. Callum is raving about curry and asks Rani to tell him about Indian cooking, then about her parents. Apparently Ajay's family are from Mumbai and Priya's from Sri Lanka, but they were both born in Australia. She isn't keen to talk about India, and tries to change the subject. An awkward silence develops.

(Later)

Callum is serving up ice-cream and suggests that Sophie gets a movie from her house. While she's out, Callum asks Rani why she's behaving so weirdly and she admits that she knows Callum likes her. Callum says he only likes her as a friend. They realise that Sophie has been winding them both up - trying to turn them against each other. Callum says he has a good idea for revenge.

Tomorrow on Neighbours
- Sophie returns with some DVDs and finds Callum and Rani cuddled up on the sofa.
- Lou is dragged to a mature dance class.
- Kyle's Gran turns up.
- Sophie isn't impressed that Rani and Callum are "together"
- Paul rings Ajay and asks him if he knows where Rani is.
