Summer reassures Tash about the lack of guests, when Kate turns up. She explains that she's not here for the party, but just keeping an eye on Sophie who's out the back. A group of guests turns up, including Belinda from the Journalism course, much to Summer's disgust. Belinda introduces herself to Andrew, and the two seem to hit it off. Chris gets a call - Aidan will be over to the party soon, and Belinda heads off to find a drink.
CHRIS: Do you have to be so obvious?
ANDREW: Mate, I was talking to her.
CHRIS: But it doesn't look that way to Summer.
ANDREW: It was Summer's choice to go on a break.
CHRIS: And it's your choice to make her regret it?
Belinda heads back with drinks, and Summer stares at them looking awkward in the corner.

BELINDA: That's so great! Maybe you could me up in the entertainment section. Who's the job with?
SUMMER: Erinsborough News.
BELINDA: ....never mind then!
SUMMER: So what is the course like Belinda? Is it frustrating to know that you've got another three years before you can become a journalist?

He's also concerned about rubbish being thrown over the fence and says things are getting out of control.

Lou notices Lucas is going through his bills on his laptop and says he'll pay the electricity by the morning.
LUCAS: Don't worry about it.
LOU: I'm not a charity case you know.
LUCAS: I didn't say you were. I didn't want to tell you but you're getting the rough end of the deal. I mean you've been cooking, cleaning, doing the laundry, getting Kyle to fix stuff - truth is I havn't been pulling my weight. You've been holding this place together, so fair's fair.
LOU: Well... you have been a bit slack.
Lou jokes that his speech would have worked better if he hadn't mowed the lawn that morning, but there is a silent acknowledgement shared between the two that Lucas will waive the bills for that month.
