This week on Neighbours
Andrew explaining the kiss.
Tash's rationale for the party.
New look Susan annoyed at Paul's actions.
Paul running the gauntlet of the press.
Previously on Neighbours
Paul/Ajay verbally squaring up to each other.
Tash hosting a party.
Summer catching Andrew pashing Belinda.
Number 32
Sum exits Tash's room after what she's seen in a state of shock and after a quick word with Chris and Sophie/Rani, leaves the house.
Inside Tash's room, Belinda can't see they did much wrong since Andrew's on a break but he pushes her off when she tries to come onto him.
Number 28
Karl is surprised to see Sum back early and is just about to talk to her about Andrew when he turns up. Sum doesn't want to talk to him so Karl sends him packing.
Number 32
The party is in full swing with everyone enjoying themselves.
Number 28
Karl is surprised at Paul dropping round an assignment for Summer but really it's an excuse to see if Karl is annoyed at the noise emanating from #32. Karl isn't biting though as he feels the party is just what Tash needs! Paul wants them to call the police if the noise goes on for much longer but Karl again doesn't bite, instead reminds him that he was young once!
KARL: Weren't you?!
Paul most definitely is unamused at that comment and leaves after giving Karl a very dirty look!
Charlie's
Paul has ventured to Charlie's to get away from the noise and runs into Susan, who isn't onside with him when he explains why he's been forced there. He finds another victim to have a rant at when Ajay happens to come into the bar and Paul sounds off at him about the decision to close the local police station. Ajay isn't biting either and leaves to go order at the bar.
Meanwhile, Paul sits at another table and makes a Facebook post under his pseudonym of 'Conrad Jackson' that the party is rockin' and for everyone to get down there!
Number 28
Sum rejects a call from Andrew so he calls out to her through the front door instead that he wants to talk to her. Karl wants to deal with him but Sum says she will and lets Andrew say what he wants to say through the closed door (she doesn't let him in). He apologises for what he did and only pashed the girl because he thought they were over. Sum isn't impressed when he says that he loves her and confesses that it's the most stupidest thing he's ever done before pleading with her to forget about it.
ANDREW: Look I know that I don't deserve it at all but I want you back. Look I know we've been shaky alright. Me and you we can get through it.
SUMMER: ...
ANDREW: Come on, we belong together.
(Summer scoffs at that)
ANDREW: Come on, we both know.
Sum is still not talking and he pleads with her to say something. Finally when she does, she pacifies him by saying that she'll think about what he's said and will call him when he asks if he can call her.
ANDREW: I'll be waiting for you Summer.
Number 28
Commercial break later and Summer is lying on the sofa and picks up her iPhone and begins flicking through the photos... photos of herself and Andrew before putting the phone back down.
Number 32
Meanwhile back at the party, Andrew waits patiently for a call as the others party away.
As Sophie and Rani check on the talent, Aidan jibes Chris on how pathetic he is dancing! When they take a break (Chris chickened out of dancing!) a glass full of something gets accidentally knocked over and despite Tash telling him to leave it, Aidan wants goes to get a cloth. When he insists on cleaning it up, Tash drags him up to dance instead because she isn't caring too hoots if things get damaged since they aren't hers!
Chris retreats to speak to Andrew who is still down in the dumps but cheers up tenfold when he gets a text from Summer saying she is ready to talk and rushes out of #32!
Charlie's
Paul lies when he calls Karl to say that he can't sleep and wants to call the police over the noise emanating from the party. He gives him 10 minutes notice that he's going to be visiting Lou if he wishes to join him.
His attention is then drawn to four random guys giving the barman a hard time because they can't buy more alcohol (the bar is shut) so Paul meanders over and suggests to them that they check out 32 Ramsay Street if they want to continue partying!
With a smirk on his face, he continues what he was working on - an article criticising Ajay and the police about their response to an out of control party!
Number 28
Summer lets Andrew into the house and he tells her that he's relieved to have heard from her and has the chance to talk. He is going on about doing whatever it is she wants him to do so that it works when she turns round to look at him and can tell from the expression on her face that something is up. Sum explains that when she returned to the party it was to end their break but when she saw him pashing Belinda, she realised that nothing had changed with him. Andrew pleads that it was just one dumb kiss and that he's changed but Sum has made her mind up - it's over and the more time Andrew was suggesting won't help. "It won't happen again, I promise you it won't," Andrew pleads with her but Sum has heard it all before and tells him to go.
Number 32
The party is in full swing (and a blink and you miss it pash between Chris and Aidan) as Andrew returns to the party and runs into the four guys Paul sent over as he goes to get a drink. A scuffle ensues but Chris and Aidan pull Andrew away and they wonder who the guys are (as well as most of those already there!) Tash isn't bothered that she doesn't know who is at her party as long as they are having fun!
The four guys pull down the surf board that was up above the window and jump on it, smashing it up. This is the last straw for Chris/Aidan/Andrew and they go over to confront them but thankfully they move away immediately. Finally Tash seems to realise its serious but doesn't want the police called to close down her own party. The trio head to get some drinks and the talking guy (from the foursome) goes through Andrew's jacket (he dumped it on the floor when he re-entered the house) and pulls out his car keys before they all quietly exiting the house.
(Later)
The party is starting to get very boisterous now.
Number 24
Lou moans to Paul about how loud the music is especially as it's after midnight and wants to go over to say something! Paul advises him not to and they are joined by Karl who informs them that the party has now spilled out onto the front lawn. Karl concedes to the police being called but when Paul goes to make the call, he's talking to a switched off phone!
Ramsay Street (next morning)
As dawn breaks, the street looks like a bombsite littered with bodies and the now broken furniture from #32! Tash exits her house to survey the damage and is shocked by what she sees.
Lou isn't amused either when he too exits his house and wonders why the police didn't turn up. "I guess they were too busy," Paul suggests just as they are now joined by Susan wondering what has happened. "Tash's party is what happened," Paul tells her and is happy to join Lou in the condemnation of their local police station closing down. "Ring them again," Lou tells Paul and he does just that.
Number 32
Chris wonders where Sophie and Rani are as it's been a while since anyone has seen them. "Probably went home," Tash replies as she begins trying to clean up even though folk are still partying in the background. Chris wants to help tidy up but Tash vehemently stops him however after hearing her admit that what should have been a fun party has now turned into a disaster, takes matters into his own hands and decides that the party is now over and begins yelling for everyone to leave the house. Andrew joins them to report that his car has been stolen just as we hear sirens in the background.
TASH: I just wanted this to be fun for everyone.
Number 22
Paul is surprised when Ajay drops by not to discuss what has happened but to pick Rani up. Its news to Paul that Rani was supposed to be staying over especially as Sophie was staying over at his place! Both are now concerned about where the girls are, Paul especially!
Ramsay Street
Paul and Ajay make their way over to #32 and Paul asks Tash if she's seen Sophie when they spot a policewoman escorting the girls out of the house. Ajay is not impressed and lets rip at Tash for letting underage kids into a party. Tash immediately says they were on soft drinks and adds that she just wanted everyone to have a good time.
AJAY: Are you happy now?! Take a good look at the state of your street.
TASH: I'm sorry. I didn't even invite half these people.
AJAY: So who are they then?
TASH: I don't know.
Paul then spots Andrew exiting and asks if he is okay and is told about his car being stolen before he heads off with a police officer.
Tash tries to explain to Paul and Ajay that she doesn't know what happened, people just started showing up. Ajay wants a thorough investigation to happen but Paul's priority is to get Sophie home, ignoring Ajay!
Tomorrow on Neighbours
Paul overhearing Lucas and Susan discussing the party.
Aidan trying to advise Chris not to be at Tash's beckon call.
Ajay and Paul arguing over the party/the police not turning up.
Ajay wise to Paul and doing some investigations into the party.
