Number 28
Karl asks Libby about her big night. Zeke reports that she got home late and not alone.

LIBBY: No dad, I didn't bring him home.
KARL: You brought someone else?!
LIBBY: It's not like that. She just needed a bit of looking after.

On cue, Sonya sheepishly appears from Libby's room eager to make her way home. Libby follows her to the door to check to see if she's alright. Sonya says that she's fine and the gambling idea was just a one off. Libby isn't convinced she's ok.

Number 22
Libby tells Lucas about Sonya's big night and win at the races, she's worried that it might be a reaction to the whole Toadie/Steph/Baby saga. Lucas is sure she'll be fine and that it was just a one-off.

Harold's
Lucas is actually more concerned than he let on to Libby, but Sonya doesn't want to talk about it. Lucas moves her paper and finds a form guide for the races hidden underneath. She tells him she's short of cash and needs to do something. Lucas offers to lend her $200 if she hangs out with him all day. She might not need a babysitter, but she does need a friend.

Charlie's
Donna and her dad have met for breakfast and a life catch up. Donna shows him the album she put together and recounts tales from her childhood. He wants to know about her fashion business - perhaps entrepreneurial skills run in the family. Donna goes very quiet and Nick wonders if he said something wrong. Donna tentatively suggests they should get a DNA test.

Number 22
Donna tells Zeke that Nick is thinking about the DNA test and worries she's just thrown a hand grenade at him when he was being so nice. There's a knock at the door. It's Nick, who realises that she's been burnt before so she needs to make sure this time so he's booked a test for this afternoon. He'll pay. They both need to know.

Harold's
Karl tells Donna that the best the DNA test can guarantee is 99.9% accuracy. Donna supposes that will have to do! Karl leaves and Donna gets her phone out and calls Ringo. She tells his answer phone that she knows he'd rather she didn't call him, but she wanted to let him know that she thinks she's found her dad and she's getting a DNA test like he said she should have done last time. That's all.

Charlie's
Sonya and Lucas are having fun playing pool. Lucas gives Sonya some money for drinks just as Libby walks in and grabs the wrong end of the stick. Lucas tells her that they're not playing for money and they're drinking OJ. Libby still isn't sure that Lucas is looking out for her properly, he didn't see her last night.

LUCAS: No, but I've seen her at about 100 GA meetings, maybe that counts for something!

He asks how Libby's night was, maybe she should thank Sonya for giving her an easy way out of the date. He tells her to deal with her own issues rather than using his mate's problems as a distraction. Harsh.

Lassiters Complex
There's lots of building work going on. Toadie thought it was just a refurb, but what's going on is huge. Libby walks by and Steph wants to know all about her hot date, she's been trying to get in touch.

LIBBY: Sorry, I've been in the classroom.
STEPH: Well you could have texted!

Wow, new levels of professionalism from the Erinsborough High staff, texting in lessons!

Libby says that there's nothing much to tell, it was all going well then she saw an old friend she had to take home. Steph asks if the guy was cool with it and Libby tells her easy come easy go. Karl blunders in at this point to tell Libby he saw Sonya in Charlie's earlier playing pool with Lucas. Libby pushes him out of earshot and tells him it's all under control. Toadie sticks his nose in to see what's going on and Karl thinks it might help if he knew what had happened.

Charlie's
Libby has evidently blabbed to Toadie and Steph as Toadie barges into the bar indignant and ready for a fight, Sonya is in trouble and Lucas is just along for the ride. Steph tries to get him to leave it, but Toadfish goes over to the pool playing pair and tells Sonya he heard about last night. Sonya is incredulous and tells him it's not his place to give a damn and to leave her alone. Steph and Toadie leave.

Lassiters Complex
Toadie continues to stress out about Sonya and not being a part of her life. Steph says that Lucas is looking after her and when the baby is born and they're all sorted, perhaps there'll still be a chance for him and Sonya. If it's meant to be, she'll still be there. Lucas and Sonya come out of Charlie's and throw dirty looks at Toadie. Toad says he'll see Steph at the hospital.

Harold's Store
Lyn is run off her feet, but as soon as Steph mentions she's got an appointment with Dr Harris she drops everything for some quality worrying. Steph assures her it's just a few tests because of her history and that she's meeting Toadie there. They start to squabble about Lyn coming along as well. Lyn tells her daughter that she'll just turn up at the appointment anyway, so Steph agrees to let her pick her up at the garage. Lyn says she'll meet her at 4, and Libby, who has just come in, is interested to know what's going on at that time. Nosey! Lyn tells her that Steph has an appointment at the hospital and that afterwards she's going to take her to Baby World as there's a sale on.

LIBBY: Really? Oh, I would love to buy her something nice. She's been so good to me.
LYN: Well meet us after school at the hospital. We'll go together. Oh and by the way, I've head Steph's doctor is kind of good lookin'...
LIBBY: Thank you Lyn, but I think I'm done with dating for a while.

Hospital
Steph, Lyn and Dr Harris do some flirting but Toadie isn't around yet so Lyn tries to follow Steph into the consultation room because there are lots of questions to be asked. Steph would rather go alone and not have her mother taking notes and Dr Harris says it's up to her.

STEPH: No, mum, I'd be embarrassed with someone there.
LYN: Oh, I'm your mother!

Steph makes Lyn sit down and wait, but Lyn keeps fighting and offers to get the doctor's phone number just in case she forgets to ask something important.

In the consultation room it seems as though Steph's blood pressure is a bit high. She blames her mum, she just really wants the pregnancy to be kept private.

DOUG: Even from your partner?
STEPH: No, he's fine. Just everyone else, my friends and family. I just don't want them to know anything unless I tell them.

Outside the room, Libby has arrived and is trying to listen at the door under instruction from Lyn who can't understand why she's being like this now, when she was so open when she was pregnant with Charlie. Libby guesses Steph just doesn't want Lyn to worry.

DOUG: I guess a history of cancer can make people overly concerned.
STEPH: Yeah, but you wouldn't say anything to anyone, even about the normal stuff.

Doug seems a bit suss.

Lyn is now trying to earwig and convince Libby to go into the consultation room because as her best friend, Steph wouldn't be angry with Libby for walking in in the middle of an examination.

DOUG: Trust me Stephanie, whatever happens in your pregnancy I'll only discuss with you and your partner. What you tell other people is entirely up to you.

Libby calms Lyn down by compromising - when Steph comes out she'll take the doctor to one side and ask all the questions.

When Toadie finally turns up he is surprised to find Lyn and Libby sitting in the waiting area. Steph is also surprised to see Libby when she comes out and is even more surprised when Libby tries to sneak in to see the doctor as they all start to leave.

STEPH: Where are you doing?
LIBBY: I just thought I'd say hi your doctor, Lyn says he's really cute!
STEPH: Nah, I wouldn't bother, I mean he is cute but he's a bit of a player. Just wait for the other guy to call.

Steph decides to cry off going to Baby World in favour of having a bit of a rest. Lyn and Libby leave and Toadie wants to know why Steph let them come in the first place.

Harold's
Steph explains how Lyn was bombarding her with questions and that if she didn't love her so much she'd kill her. She realises that Toadie is still feeling down about Sonya so she puts all the groceries back on the shelf and says they deserve a pile of take away with a pile of romcoms.

TOADIE: But you hate RomComs.
STEPH: Not tonight I don't.
TOADIE: Steph, you don't need to try and make me feel better ok?
STEPH: I just want to feel better too. I just want to hang out as mates like we used to before this whole thing got so tiring and complicated.

Number 22
Nick drops Donna home. She tells him that she's got heaps to keep her busy including a big uni assignment she hasn't even started. He gives her a disapproving dad look which she quite enjoys. She asks him if they can still spend time together, even though they don't know the results yet. He agrees as long as she gets on with her uni work. He leaves and she opens her inbox to find a new email waiting. From the looks of it, it's not what she wanted to see.

Harold's
Turns out the email was from the other Nick of the potential dad variety. He's been overseas and just got Donna's letter. He'd like to meet her. Zeke asks what Donna is going to do. She's going to get on with her uni assignment and not reply. She'd rather deal with one Nick at a time.

Sonya comes in all dressed up and invites Lucas out with her tonight. She just wants to keep going and forget about everything that's happened.

LUCAS: Do you really think that's the answer?
SONYA: No, but it's what I want to do. Please Lucas you said you'll be there for me.

Charlie's
The band gets into it's swing and Sonya and Lucas decide they actually don't want to talk about Toadie or Steph or the baby or their feelings, instead they dance. Toadie comes in to pick up some takeaway and sees Lucas and Sonya dancing and having fun. They get closer and suddenly Sonya full on kisses Lucas. Toadie isn't impressed. You made your bed fish boy. Lie in it.
