Steph at hospital.
Callum finding out Steph's pregnant.
Toadie and Steph realising that they've mucked their stories up.
Libby telling Toadie and Steph she'll be there every step of the way - it will be like they're all having the baby together! Hurrah!
Number 30
It's early and Libby's come over with danishes and a pregnancy calendar for Steph to sort out all her appointments. Whilst Toadie gets some tea, Steph tells Lib she's in her second trimester. Libby works out that she and Toadie must have slept together as soon as Steph split with Lucas, and realises she may have intruded. She rushes out and says she'll be back later.
Erinsborough Hospital
A hospital worker is asking Nick - who's there donating some money - for his autograph. Donna, meanwhile, comes out from seeing Dr Harris as a regular check- up - he's given her a lollipop. Nick spies 'Kelly' and wonders where she's been - she hasn't turned up for work and has ignored his calls. Donna tells Nick she's quit: she won't work for a sleazebag.
Harold's Store
Andrew has made Summer a cpapuccino with a frothy picture on the top, and Summer's impressed. Kate and Declan come in, both with the morning off, and wonder what they could spend the morning doing...but their romantic fancies are interrupted by Harry and Chris back from basketball. Kate checks with Harry what he's doing today, and Harry says he's out with Chris. Kate realises she and Dec have the house to themselves, and scarper.
However, before they even get out the door, Donna comes in and won't listen to Kate's protestations about being busy, and drags them off to hers.
Number 22
Donna is showing Kate and Declan her new designs, but although they play along, they're also playing handsies and gazing in each others' eyes. Donna's mobile rings and it's Nick. She waits for it to ring out, then waits for the voicemail message to come through.
Kate and Declan run out whilst Donna's distracted.
Number 24
Kissing their way into the house, Dec and Kate make their way to the bedroom before being interrupted by Lou's return, and he quickly says that he has to go out again and see a man about a job and he'll probably be some time. Neighbours code, again.
Harry appears from a room which I thought was Sophie's. Actually, I've just realised that the room didn't use to be there, did it? Either way, Harry's making a sandwich, he's hungry.
Number 30
Toadie and Steph have worked out the dates they need to remember, when Libby comes over (yet again), sits on the sofa, and she apologises for being too keen earlier. Libby wants a Danish pastry, now, but Steph's eaten all of them. Libby pulls out some leaflets that Susan picked up for her when she was pregnant. Steph flicks through them.
STEPH: Geez, the list of things you can't do just keeps on growing, doesn't it?
She says it in good humour, but Libby's offended.
LIBBY: It's about protecting the baby. You know, a few safeguards.
STEPH: Yeah, I know, I know. It's just that everyone seems to tell you what you can and can't do.
Lib tries to snap out of it, and asks Steph about work; Steph says she'll probably work up until the end of her pregnancy. Libby doesn't think it's a good idea, as it's not the safest environment - she doesn't know she'll be fine, and she can never know.
LIBBY: It's the most precious thing in the world and you never know what might go wrong.
STEPH: Lib, slow down! You can't think like that, you can't live life like that!
Libby admits she can get carried away, and rushes off home.
Number 28
Susan and Karl leave their room, talking about Steph and Toadie's pregnancy. Libby's on the sofa, trying to find some stuff in the boxes from when they moved in. Karl makes some tea, and Susan realises that her daughter has been to see Steph, giving her a hug.
LIBBY: I am happy for her.
Number 30
Libby turns up yet again - seriously, just move in. Steph hugs her, and Libby reiterates again that she is happy for her, and will be there for her. It will be hard, but she wants to do it - this baby is the one good thing that's happened all year, and she wants to share that with her friend.
Libby gives Steph a photo frame with mum, dad and baby photo spaces - it was going to be for Sean, and she didn't want to throw it away. It would mean so much for Steph to have it. Steph accepts, awkwardly.
Cut to later where Steph sits alone, staring at the frame. Toadie comes home and Steph shows him the frame, explaining the back story. She tells him it feels wrong, accepting it, and she wonders if Dan will ever find out, even though he's not talking to Lucas or Libby. Steph complains that she really thought it would be easier once people knew, but it's more complicated. She tells Toadie that she can't say no to anything Libby asks, after everything she's done to her best friend.
Charlie's
Donna turns up to meet Nick, and he wants an explanation - why did she accuse him of being a sleazebag. Donna says she saw him kissing Lana, when he named the pub after his wife. How can he cheat on her like that?
NICK: I'm not cheating, Kelly.
DONNA: How can you deny it, I saw you!
NICK: Carmen has been dead for nearly two years. Lana is the first woman I've been with since.
DONNA: Oh.
NICK: Yes. So before you do a runner from work and abuse me in public, get your facts straight. Goodbye.
Donna realises she's stuffed up - again.
Number 24
Harry sits between Declan and Kate on the sofa. They try everything they can to get rid of him, even giving him money for the cinema. But then Andrew and Summer arrive: they ran into Lou, who said he needed to get out of the house, so they knew they could come here! Giving up, Declan goes to the gym, and Kate goes to wash her hair.
A Road, Somewhere, and Erinsborough High School
Ben is complaining that they're going to be late: "look faster, we're going to be late". Libby snappily says she is, and then apologises - although why she apologises, I've no idea, as Ben was rude in the first place and didn't even say please. Why does no- one teach this kid some manners??
Libby finds a park, but just as she's indicating, Doug Harris takes the space, and Libby yells at him as he leaves the car with a young girl about Ben's age.
Libby brings Ben into the school for the dance lesson; he runs into the class excited. Libby challenges Doug over the parking space, but he refuses to take any responsibility for it.
LIBBY: You stole my park!
DOUG: Excuse me?
LIBBY: Out the front, I was about to drive in and you stole it.
DOUG: I think you're mistaken.
LIBBY: And I think you must be blind.
DOUG: I don't think I'm blind, I just saw a park and I took it.
LIBBY: I had my indicator on.
DOUG: I didn't see any indicator.
LIBBY: Oh, but you saw me, WAITING TO PARK.
DOUG: See, here's the thing: you either park, or you wait. You waited. I parked.
He walks away, leaving Libby just a little bit gobsmacked.
Harold's Store
Libby comes in for a latte, but runs into Doug; she's annoyed he's here. He tells her he's getting a coffee and a cupcake. Spying the last cupcake on the counter, she takes it and takes a huge bite. Doug tells her not to choke on it before leaving. Libby looks indignant again.
Charlie's
Donna's waiting for Nick, and thanks him for turning up when he arrives. She apologises to him, and admits she overreacted. She tells him that her family background is a bit messed up, and she compared him to her mother, and she went too far. Nick thanks her for the apology, and Donna tells him she wants to come back to work if he'll have her.
Erinsborough High School
Libby is waiting for the dance class to finish when Doug turns up, too. He apologises for taking her park, earlier, and Libby reprimands him for setting a bad example for his daughter. Doug says that the young girl is his niece, and it stresses him out sometimes, looking after her. Libby is unforgiving (she being the perfect mother who never makes Ben say please or thank you), but says the cupcake makes them even.
Ben appears from the class, showing his mum his new dance before running off to the car. Doug takes Bryony off for a cupcake that he can actually eat this time.
Number 28
Susan and Libby are at the table, talking about this guy who Lib ran into earlier, and Lib complains that this guy made her feel guilty in the end. Karl is complaining on the phone; the hospital called him in to cover for his boss who is late again. (His boss is, of course, Doug Harris, although none of the Kennedys know this connection.) Karl goes to get ready for work, as Lib continues to complain over and over about Doug.
LIBBY: You know, I'm sure he's the type of guy who trades on his good looks to get away with anything.
SUSAN: Good looking?
LIBBY: Yeah, if you're into that tall, dark and handsome type. Throw in a killer smile, he's got it all.
SUSAN: (smiling) Wow. He sounds like the complete package.
Libby makes a face.
Charlie's
Libby waits to be served at the bar when Doug walks in. He accuses her of being a stalker as well as a cupcake thief. Libby points out that she was here first, so technically Doug is the stalker.
Number 30
Steph tells Toadie she wants to do a follow- up with Doctor Harris; she can trust him.
Charlie's
Doug says she took the prime parking space out the front of Charlie's, before they order the drink and food they turned up for.
Number 30
Steph tells Toadie she's going to ask Lib to come baby shopping with her. If she can get the small things right, maybe Libby won't notice her fudging the bigger issues.
Charlie's
Libby and Dough collect their respective drink and food. Doug comments that he hopes she's sharing her wine, it's much better shared. She doesn't reply, but totally gets his flirting. He leaves the bar, glancing back at her when he's at the door.
