Recap
- Susan telling Zeke she will ask him to take Zeke to the football.
- Dylan tells Kim that with big risk comes big reward.
Lassiter's Complex
Dylan comes by his old man flogging Dyldogs not at all impressed about Kim calling time on their DVD coping scam. Kim explains that he is protecting Dylan and doesn't want to see his son back inside but Dylan couldn't care less as he departs as Janelle arrives complete with a new hairstyle (she's been trying out styles for the wedding). She wants to know what he was talking to Dylan about but Kim says it was just about the price of hotdogs and I don't think Janelle believes him as she warns Kim that she doesn't want their wedding day ruined by family squabbles.
Scarlet Bar
Jenny finishes giving a rally speech to her helpers for the election and receives a hug form Karl for it. He tries to kiss her but she pulls back and two seconds later answers her mobile phone.
Dingo's pie night
Susan fights her way back to Zeke and tries to crack a joke about footy but instead talks rugby. He is a bit quiet or full up since he's just finished his 3rd pie! Having second thoughts about her pie, she offers it to Zeke and apologises to him for her not exactly being into footy as they wait for Karl to arrive any minute now...
Scarlet Bar
They may have a bit of a wait because Karl is still with Jenny at the bar. She comes of the phone and tells him that the photographer has been delayed and asks if he can stay a bit longer before going to Zeke's pie night. Karl agrees just as his phone starts ringing - it's his dad.
No. 26
While Kim and Dylan head off to bed as they have things to do for Uni, Janelle moans to Bree that she wishes that she could go to bed too but BBC Radio are calling soon to do an interview with her. Bree asks what on and she replies that the BBC is after a comment on the Australian perspective on anti-terrorism legislation! Janelle spots that Bree is reading a proof copy of her latest book (Dreaming) and tells her daughter that she is proud of her and that this book will be No. 1 on the best sellers list...ah the book title gave it away eventually. It was another one of those dream sequences that we've had this past year.
Back in the land of the living, Janelle reads out an article announcing that the interview Bree did with the journalist in Friday's eppy (the one when Zeke was inside that stupid bubble) was a fake and wants details from her daughter. Bree replies that the journalist was just out to get her and besides, she was trying to improve her media image which Janelle doesn't believe for a second. Janelle lets rip with the same message she gave Kim earlier - she wants nothing to ruin her wedding day - and, if required, threatens to ban Bree from attending!
While mother and daughter have been chatting, Kim answered the phone and hands it over to Bree - its Melody and she is not happy with Bree.

Carmella thanks Connor for the meal they've had. Connor has a go at Toadie when he cracks a few, to him, inappropriate remarks and while Carmella tidies up the dishes, they play fight for a bit until Janelle interrupts play time. She's round to talk about...yes you've guessed it wedding plans but before she does she sees Carmella and comes to the same conclusion Toadie did yesterday - that Carmella is an exotic dancer! Janelle eventually realises it is for real and asks Carmella if she can get them a cheap priest!
Getting back on topic, Janelle offers Toadie an important role in the wedding - being the chauffeur. After a few seconds of awkwardness it dawns on Janelle that wasn't the best thing to offer Toadie considering the last time he drove a car on a wedding day (Toadie drove off a cliff with Dee for those who don't know and Dee is still swimming with the fishes) and withdraws her invitation, saying she'll see if Max can do that job instead before leaving.
Connor decides to take the dirty glasses through to the kitchen making sure he avoids touching Carmella at all costs. Finally she asks for Toadie's help in what to do with Connor as he is so nervous around her and Toadie suggests what she is wearing (her trainee nun's habit and dress). He then suggests that they go out for the night too, since they haven't really spent any time together and she readily agrees to go clubbing with Connor...once she's found something more appropriate to wear. Connor comes back in and Toadie promptly sends him out to get his disco dancing shoes on because Carmella and he are going clubbing.
CONNOR: Really?
TOADIE: Yes, yes and if you just play your cards right you might get her out of the habit.
(Pause while Toadie's brain kicks into gear)
TOADIE: Ahhh that was gold.
Commercial break over, Toadie is more than impressed with what Carmella is now wearing (an extremely low cut top with a camisole) compared to what she was a before the break. She admits that it feels weird and that she feels like someone else. Trying hard not to stare too long at her cleavage, Toadie tells her that she is going through a transition period atm but he is sure it will all come back to her. Just then Janelle invites herself in get Toadie to inform Connor that he will be the chauffeur for the wedding. She then does a double take with how Carmella is dressed now.
Janelle leaves and Toadie spots Connor heading into the kitchen and goes to speak to him.
TOADIE: (excitedly) You are in luck, the nun has flown into the hottest babe and she wants to discover her old self and you are the lucky man.
Connor stops him talking but it doesn't stop Toadie from getting out that Connor's luck is in tonight but he is having none of it telling his mate that it is about Carmella finding herself not him getting lucky. ImmatureToadie doesn't think so as he starts to chant "you're getting lucky".
Connor heads into the living, impressed with what Carmella is wearing and hopes that she didn't hear what Toadie. "Every word," replies Carmella. He apologises for what Toadie said and assures her that it isn't true and that they can stay in and watch some DVD's if she wants. Carmella tells him that they are going out as she wants a taste of her old life.

Bree's ear is being bitten off by Melody and she looks relieve to eventually get off the phone and tells Kim and the now returned Janelle that her punishment is to visit real sick people and also adds that the next book deal is looking shaky. Janelle again lays down the law - no visiting sick people on her wedding day but Bree bites back by saying if she had supportive parents then what has just happened wouldn't have occurred before she heads into her room. Janelle is a bit perplexed over what she did to deserve moody kids especially now as there is so much to do before the wedding.
Dingo's pie night
It's now time to hit the ball through a target and Zeke gets nervous as he awaits his turn. Susan offers encouragement to him before she has a shot...and completely misses the target. On a second go, she at least hits the target this time, the 5 ring. It's Zeke's turn now and he at least hits the board the first time and scores 2 but like Susan completely misses with his second shot. The other lads start to laugh at him and Zeke decides it is time to leave...now.
No. 26
Kim fesses up to Janelle how he's been getting the money of late. She doesn't want to know but he tells her about selling pirate DVD's. He adds that it was great having the money and for the first time being able to truly provide for the family. Janelle wants to know what Dylan's involvement is and Kim tells her about him taking over the operation and he feels that Dylan is in far too deep and despite doing everything he can to get him out of it, Dylan isn't budging. Kim isn't exactly top of Janelle's Christmas card list atm when Bree reappears wanting to know if they are fighting and Janelle quickly says no and reassures her that she still loves Kim and sends Bree away because she needs to continue having a private word with Kim.
With Bree away, Janelle *tells* Kim to get Dylan out of it and warns him that she'll never forgive him if Dylan ends up back in jail because of his stupidity.
Nightclub
Connor and Carmella arrive and she looks quite excited as they head to the bar with the blokes turning heads as they make their way to the bar. Once they arrive at the bar she decides she'd rather have a dance instead but Connor tries to stall before she drags him up to dance.
Scarlet Bar
Dylan takes the food out to Jenny's guests via Toadie's quality control check as the photographer takes pics of Karl and Jenny. Karl is about to head off to the pie night when Susan arrives and isn't impressed with him not turning up to the pie night. Once Susan leaves, Jenny comes over and says to him that she is going to have to change her assumptions of Susan and him and at his puzzled look, goes on to explain that she thought it was him still carrying a torch for Susan when in fact it is the other way around.
No. 28
Susan notices that she's had a missed call on her mobile and checks her voicemail and there is a message from Karl telling her that he's going to be late to the pie night as the photographer is running late. Doh! given the look on Susan's face.
She then sees Zeke come out of bed and tries to send him back but he wants to apologise for losing it earlier and that she must be ashamed of him. Susan reassures him that she isn't ashamed of him, that there is nothing to apologise for either and that she is proud of him. Zeke finally admits what really got to him - it was the other lads having fun with their dads and brought it all home to him that Alex is gone. Susan hugs him as he starts to cry and she doesn't look far from crying either.
Nightclub
Connor and Carmella strut away on the dance floor with memories of her previous life flooding back...so much so that she kisses Connor and we're not talking about a quick peck on the lips either before he finally breaks it off.
Now sitting down, Connor tells Carmella that she hasn't forgotten how to kiss! There is a painful silence before she tells him that there was nothing there when she kissed him and they are both finding the situation extremely embarrassing before Carmella tells him that all this is just meaningless now. Connor asks if they want to leave and she agrees and asks if they can go via the video shop on the way home.
No. 28
Karl apologises to Zeke for missing the pie night and he accepts it and the offer of a practice session the next day before Susan sends him off to bed. Karl thanks Susan for letting him come round to apologise to Zeke and she apologises to him for what she in the bar earlier and explains about not getting the message Karl left. He accepts her apology and Susan tells him that he is a good man, which slightly embarrasses him before he says thank you to her before leaving.
Scarlet Bar
Kim enters just as Dylan finishes tidying up and Dylan isn't exactly thrilled to have a chat with his dad (what Kim is there to do) and indeed tries to show Kim the door. Kim refuses to budge and let Dylan participate in any dodgy DVD deals. Dylan asks if he is going to stop him and Kim replies yes, if he has to and Dylan tells his dad to go before someone gets hurt. Kim reiterates that he isn't going anywhere, so Dylan grabs him by the lapels and turns him so that he is now the one against the bar and firmly tells his dad to get out of his way.
DYLAN: (threatening) For once in your useless life get out of my way and stop holding me back.
