Recap
Boyd agrees to give cricket another go.
Stuart tells Flick he loves being with her.
In the Lassiters Limo at the Mechanics - Night
Stu and Flick are about to kiss but Flick don't wanna. Stu asks if it's Steph and Flick explains that Steph and Flick are starting to get back to the way things were, and that if she and Stu were to get together it would put things back. Steph needs both of them right now. Stu's sure there is more and Flick says there is, Steph loves hanging around him. He scoffs, thinking Flick thinks Steph has a thing for him. Ooo please! She doesn't know but she isn't going to risk it. He understands that. She says it's all about timing, and heads off leaving poor old Stuey all heartbroken. Aww you don't need her, you have Steph!
Number 32
Max is cleaning Boyd cricket gear, commenting to Summer on how good her brother is. Boyd join them, thinking he wasn't that great. But Max has faith in him, total faith... yeah. There is nothing wrong with Boyd's hand eye co-ordination he's just got to stay focused. Max turns his attention to Summer, asking if she was good for Nina but that was a pointless question because like she replies, she's always good. Max heads off to soak Boyd's clothes then he'll put tea on. Summer could see right through Boyd's act, saying he is really enjoying it isn't he. Boyd reckons cricket just ain't his thing.
Number 30
Stuey's on the couch and when Dee arrives with the take away he runs over coz he's absolutely starving! He offers to help but Dee says she'll be okay. Stu complains about the lack of chocolate and looks at the toothbrush she just bought. She gets defensive and Stu sits saying that's fine. Dee apologises, saying she caught Toadie using her toothbrush. Stuey doesn't get what the problem is but Dee thinks there is a line... and he crossed it. Stu asks if she's going to carry it around with her... well she doesn't want this to happen again. Stu thinks she should spend less money on toothbrushes and more on therapy before running off. Dee calls after him that he's so funny and makes her laugh and laugh and look out. She looks behind her to see Toadie in the hallway.
Lou's Place
Flick's on the phone to her mum, telling her that they can come when they can. She gets off the phone just as Karl sneaks up from behind, ordering some Shiraz. Flick asks how Libby is and he replies that she's pretty low, but very grateful for all the support she's received and Flick should pop around to see her one day. Flick promises she will as Karl heads off to drink himself into drunkenness. Only kidding. He passes Steph who's on the way to join Flick. Flick starts the conversation by saying she's sad for waiting for the olds to show up for dinner. Chloe has been running her around ragged. Steph's glad that she's never had Chloe for a boss and asks Flick if her arms are painted on. Err... oh she wants to play pool with her. Steph orders two wines before they head over to the table. Flick thinks this will be fun but Steph assures her it won't be if she wins because she'll have to shout them the next round of drinks.
Number 30
Toadie, waving the toothbrush over Dee's head as she's trying to eat, explains that all the germs are nice guys and that by the sounds of it her guys being near his guys is repulsive to her. Dee says it's not true and she loves him and his guys. She just doesn't want to rush into being all married like with the teeth in the glasses beside the bed. He adds that they would be in separate glasses. Hehe. Dee wants to keep with separate bedrooms so they keep some of the mystery and the allure alive. Toadie says she amazes him, that with the sight of her toothbrush in his mouth can bring up all this. She nods and tells her that he will be her international man of mystery if she promises to love him and his loveable habits. She doesn't think all of his habits are loveable but they are beginning to grow on her. They kiss and Stu walks in breaking up the happy couple with his commentary; that sharing toothbrushes is wrong but kissing is okay. Toadie changes the topic to while Stu bag is here (really, that's what Toadie called him) that how he said that Stu could have his room... Stu gets the message and refuses, saying that a deal is a deal. Toadie's stuck in the doghouse now.
Number 22
Libby's on the couch looking at a book when Susan comes down. Libby explains she was just looking at Susan's textbooks but Susan wants to real reason. It's that Libby is scared to go asleep because she'll dream about Drew but when she wakes up he won't be there and never will be ever again. Susan offers to make her some tea and then to leave her to reading if that's what Libby wants or to stay and talk. Susan goes to get up but Libby takes her hand, saying she's really glad Susan's there. They hug and Susan gets some of her memory back. She saw Libby when she was twelve in pigtails and a blue dress. Libby explains that Susan bought that for her birthday. Aww.
Random Cricket Pitch - Day
A random boy has had a go at batting and heads back to the sideline, a round of applause following him. He hands the bat over to a scared Boyd. Max calls out for him to focus. Summer asks if he's going to be alright. Max thinks if Boyd can stand up to the bowling of Michael that he might be in with a chance to make the team. As Boyd stands in front of the wicket Summer and Max talk about how fast Michael's bowling is. Boyd's ready but we won't see anything... yet.
Toadie and Dee are off to have a picnic, not seeing that this is actually a cricket pitch until Toadie looks up and sees it's... a cricket pitch. He apologises, saying he had no idea there was a game on. Also he can see her nose quiver in fear. Nope she's just allergic to cricket balls. Toadie says they can go somewhere else but no she's happy there, she's sure they are out of harms way. Don't speak too soon.
Summer yells out "Go Boyd!". The bowler err bowls and hits Boyd in the arm. He calls over to Max and Summer that he's fine. Michael asks if Boyd wants him to slow it down a bit but he doesn't. Silly boy.
Mechanics
Stephie gets out of her Moco van with a parcel for Stu. Steph asks how he went the other night chauffeur, he replies that it was the easiest money he ever made. She asks if this is a new job for Stuey. Actually the guy who owns it can't pay for the repairs so he's lent it to Stu lease free for one month. Steph thinks that's a good deal but Stu wants to help out Libby with the cash. She says it could be good for the business but he thinks it's a big risk, what happens if he can't get any business for it. Steph tells him that Toadie and Flick could drum up business for him. She offers for him to sue her phone but he will ring later, pushing her out the door saying she needs to go deliver more parcels. She reminds him that she wants commission for her genius. God they are good together.
Cricket Pitch
Summer tells her dad that she doesn't want Boyd getting hurt but Max assures her he won't as long as he keeps his eye on the ball. After Max calls out some more encouraging words to Boyd, Summer tried to tell him Boyd doesn't really want to play but Max stops her from speaking because Boyd's having another go at batting. All's quiet as the blwoer gets ready then bowls another fast one that Boyd actually hits! There's a round of applause from the crowd but not from Toadie, who can see the ball going straight towards Dee. Dee's cringing waiting for impact but Toadie dives in catching the ball and going face first into breakfast. He gets up wiping his face and apologising for breakfast but Dee thinks that was incredible and starts snogging him. Boyd goes over to his family and accepts their compliments.
Number 22
Libby's playing with Ben in the playpen when there is a knock at the door. She gets up to answer it to find it's Steph. She's brought over some cookies that her and Flick made last night. Libby overs to put the kettle on but Steph can't stay she has a backlog in deliveries. She bends down to say hello to Ben then asks Libby how she's doing. Lib doesn't know, and she has no idea where her life is going. She's always known what's next. Steph says that one day she will wake up and know. Lib doesn't think she will but Steph says it always does for her. Lib has always had direction and always got what she wanted and Steph admires her for that.
Coffee Shop
Karl and Susan are sitting at a table drinking coffee talking about malarky when Stu walks in. Ooo Stusan scene! Karl just wanted to thank him for the work he's doing at the garage. Susan adds that Libby really appreciates it. Totally ignoring Karl and what he said before, Stu tells Susan that it's the least he could do and thanks for the thanks. He follows Flick over to the drinks fridge. They mutter embarrassed his before Flick says that last night she didn't mean for... Stu interrupts and says it's cool. Actually he wanted to talk to her about something else. He's got the limo for one month and he was wondering if she could get some business for him. She can't believe he wants to be a chauffeur on top of the garage and the hospital. He tells her he had to quit the hospital because things were getting too full on. She asks if he was okay with that and he is because he just really wants to help Libby and Ben out. Flick wants to kiss him, and does kiss him on the cheek. Blegh. But not letting my own personal opinion get in the way... he asks what's that for. She replies that it's for being so nice and helping Lib and Ben.
Number 32
Max brings into the lounge room some lunch for Boyd, telling him to keep his strength up because when the Australian selectors come to check him out he wants to look his best. Boyd doesn't want him to get too carried away but Max has an excuse, Boyd got into the team! Max thinks Boyd must be over the moon but personally he sure doesn't look it. Boyd comments that Michael was sure surprised when Boyd hit that six and Max lets out a beauty of a surprise. He's on the team too. He offered his services to the coach and now he's his assistant. Max heads off to the kitchen to make milkshakes and Boyd groans, Summer says that it keeps getting better. Boyd thought it would all be over. Summer thinks this is great, it means Max will forget about her piano lessons.
Number 30
Toadie's on the couch playing with a toothbrush while poor Flick has to stand. He could at least offer for her to sit down. Toadie doesn't think this chauffeur thing is a good idea but Flick is insisting it will be for Libby and Ben. The problem Toadie can see is with the already existing chauffeur service plus he's known Chloe for years but Flick has a comeback, the guy already there is hopeless. Toadie thinks he could pitch it as healthy competition and Flick says it's only the clients that will benefit from having the choice. What do you know, Stu walks in wanting to know what's going on. Toadie welcomes him to the wonderful world of Lassiters chauffeuring. Flick adds that they are going to talk to Chloe about getting him started at the hotel. Stu thanks them and Dee offers for Flick to stay for dinner, there will be plenty. It will be ready in an hour, she's just waiting for Toadie to string the beans. Flick thinks she should be heading off but Dee won't take no for an answer. So Flick's staying. The girlies are going to get the wine from the pub leaving the blokes to talk about Flick. Stu admits that something happened last night and he thinks he loves her and she feels the same. Toadie wants to know what on earth the problems is.
Number 22
Karl and Susan are making dinner and having a laugh when Libby walks in, she has an announcement to make. Just as she's about to say what it is Steph arrives. Libby's glad she's there so she can tell all of them. Lib's decided to go back to uni to get her teaching degree. They all tell her that's wonderful, Lib's excited and she can't believe she's excited to be going to school with her mum. Karl tells Lib she'll make a great teacher, that she'll be a chip off the old block. Realising what he said he apologises to Susan for the old remark. Steph thinks this deserves a drink, offering for Lib to come with her to the pub. Lib can't because the parents are making dinner but they insist for her to go. Libby tries to use Ben as an excuse but Libby finally agrees.
Lou's Place
Dee's telling Flick about the cricket incident as they are getting the wine. The bump into Steph and Libby. Lib tells them that she is going back to get a teaching degree and they congratulate her. Flick offers to get the drinks then while the rest get a table. Atfer some small talk about the course Libby gets down to it. After the last few weeks she wouldn't have made it though without them and she thanks them. Dee assures her they love Lib and are here for her. Flick arrives with the drinks.
