Connor tells Joe he cares for Michelle much more than he's cared for anyone else

Harold, Susan and Drew arrive and tell Dee about the phone call about Tad. Dee clearly wasn't aware, telling them she hasn't seen him come through but offers to go and find out for them.
Number 26
Michelle and Connor are sitting on the front step of the house. Michelle recons it was a bad idea to tell her parents and Connor tells her he's surprised Joe didn't hit him over the head with something. They agree that the timing wasn't great but Michelle points out that it's worse than when Joe found out about Flick and Joel as Joel wasn't living with them. Michelle asks Connor if he really meant all the stuff that he said about her inside, and he admits it was all true.
Hospital
Drew and Susan try to reassure Harold that Tad will be alright, but Harold isn't so positive. Dee arrives back and informs Harold that he was in theatre, but lost a lot of blood and didn't make it through the operation. Harold's chin starts to wobble as he absorbs the news. Summariser starts to cry as she absorbs the news.

Dee leads Harold through to a room where the body is lying. Harold tells Dee that he still had so much he wanted to say to Tad before he left for his trip. She tells him that no one has been in touch with his parents yet, and offers to leave the room. Harold slowly prepares himself to pull back the sheets, and as he does so stares. He drops the sheet and runs out of the room, leaving Dee to cover the body.
Harold announces to Susan and Drew that the body isn't Tad's, but the boy who made his life a misery. Thrilled by the news Susan and Harold hug, as Susan pulls away, she notices the real, the one and only gorgeous Tad standing behind Harold. She smiles and laughs, causing Harold to turn around and give the now bemused Tad a massive hug.
Number 26
Joe sits Connor down and starts telling him how he knows it's easy to get too close to people when you are away from home travelling. Connor stops him and tells him that it's not like that, as he's been travelling for a while, (funny, I'm sure he'd only just arrived in Oz, when he turned up on the Scully doorstep) and she's the only person who he's really cared about. He apologises for not informing Joe of it any sooner, and tells him he didn't like sneaking around. He tells Joe that he won't leave Michelle or do anything to hurt her, like have an affair with her best friend in a few years to come!
In the next room, Michelle tells Lyn that she really believes that Connor cares for her. She wonders what Joe is going to do, just as Joe arrives. He tells them that he'd like to throttle them both, but they're going to try a new approach. He asks if they can be trusted, and they agree, so he tells them nothing is to change. He tells Michelle not to let him down.
Lou's Place
Drew arrives to find Stuart sitting at the bar. He comments on his eventful night and asks how Stuart is. They make small talk for a while, but Stuart doesn't show any signs of being friendly. Drew admits that work has been busy and apologises for what happened previously at the garage. Stuart understands that they both had their reasons, but Drew comments it's pointless to loose a friendship over and offers him his job back. Stuart informs him that he's going to be off to Sydney in a few days and that he's getting on better with Joe, but thanks him for the offer. Drew offers to buy him another beer.
Number 26
Joe tells Connor that he doesn't need to quit his job on the site, and comments that he can keep and eye on him this way. Michelle comes through and says goodbye before heading off to school. There is obvious awkwardness between Connor and Michelle, so Joe tells Connor he can walk with her as long as he meets him at the site. Stuart arrives and inquires as to Connor and Michelle. Joe tells him to keep out of it, and confirms that it's ok with him, as she could do a lot worse and end up with someone like him!
Number 32
Boyd and Summer are having a nosey peek through the windows, and comment that maybe Rosie could buy it as it's empty. Summer shows off her knowledge of people on the street, but Boyd doesn't seem to impressed, so she starts teasing him about getting married to Michelle. They notice Michelle and Connor walking on the other side of the road, so Summer yells out 'two timer'. Boyd tells her not to as it'll draw attention to them, but Summer recons that he should tell her. He encourage her to make a move, and they head off.
Number 24
Harold brings through a case for Tad to pack his records in, but Tad tells him that he's just told the organiser he might not be able to make it. He tells Harold that the officer told him the enquiry could happen quickly or take a long time. Harold tells him to leave it with him and he'll make a few phone calls, and that Tad should start packing. Tad isn't so sure, but admits he's still keen to go.
I don't want him to go; can I make him stay, please?
Tad admits that he's nervous, and is surprised to hear that Paul was nervous when he left for Adelaide too. He comments how sometimes one can get bored of where your at and start wondering what it would be like to live elsewhere; accepting awards, hosting Grammy's, alias parties, the list goes on. Harold tells him it could all happen to him, but Tad isn't so sure.
HAROLD: Well I don't see you've got any option really. You love your music; you want to make it your life. So this could be the opportunity of a lifetime. I don't want you to go, of course I don't. But, if you don't, then you'll have failed before you'd even started.
Number 30
Stuart asks Dee about the massage class and by the sounds of it it wasn't all that successful, what with her making people complain to the teacher about bruises and a couple of guys cry. She complains that they were too skinny and bony and that it wasn't her fault. Stuart sits up from lying on the sofa, which causes Dee to ask if he could give her a second opinion. He tells her no, but she insists. He finds excuses, but they fail as she starts massaging his hands.
Coffee Shop
Michelle arrives to find Boyd and Summer. She apologises for what happened, but Boyd tells her not to worry. Summer tries to tell her not to 'suck up'. Boyd tells her he wasn't too sure what was going on, and tells her that he's already seeing someone else. They agree to be friends. As Michelle leaves, Summer takes Boyd's cake as payment for her silence about the invisible girlfriend.
Number 30
Stuart manages to persuade Dee not to massage his hands anymore, so she asks if she can massage his feet. She reminds him how he kissed her a few times, so to take it as payment. She starts the massage, though it looks rather a lot more painful!
Number 26
Tad comes over to say his goodbyes, as he's off to the States. He admits it's all rather quick and won't have time for a farewell party as he's on the next plane 'outa' there', and got to get to San Fran for the big finals the following day. He tells them he hasn't managed to get hold of Flick, so gives Lyn a letter to pass onto her. Lyn tells him he's been like one of the family as he's been around so much, and Michelle tells him she'll send him a bill for all the food he's eaten. Joe asks when he'll be back, but Tad avoids the question saying it depends on if he can hack it in the states
Nooooooooooooo, he's got to come back .
Lyn reassures him telling him he'll be fine. Tad says goodbye to Connor, who offers him the chance to sponge off his parents if he ever gets to Ireland
But he has to come to England first to see me!.
They tell him they'll come and wave him off when he leaves. Joe mentions that it's like when Jack left for a second time and tells Connor that he better not be leaving as there's plenty of room for him.
Number 30
Stuart is bathing his feet in a bowl of water. They discuss how it's odd that Dee, with her nursing hands finds it so hard, and yet builder/mechanic Stuart seems to have the knack for massaging with his softer hands. She asks him to give her a demo, starting with the feet.
Number 24
Harold notices Tad with one of his records.
TAD: Out of all my things, this is probably the most important to me, and I'd just like to know it's here with you.
HAROLD: Right, then you're going to have to come back then for it aren't you?
HAROLD: There's something I want to say. I just want to thank you for staying here, when Madge left us. I know there were times when you didn't want to be here; times when I was very selfish or unforgiving....
TAD: No way, Harold. I could never, ever come close, to giving you what you've given me, ever. So thank you.
They hug, as I collapse into a blubbering mess of tears. Please come back Tad, you promised!
Ramsay Street
Tad says his goodbyes whilst his bags are being packed into the back of the car. Susan comments that he's travelling light but Tad mentions that Harold is sending the rest later. He jokes that it's going to be quiet without him, and Susan admits that it's the end of an era. Tad jokes about how the best time was teasing her at school and mucking around in the back of class. She jokes with him that it was a waste of six years at high school.
TAD: Honestly though, I wouldn't have stuck at school, or around here for that matter, if it wasn't for you.
SUSAN: Thanks Tad
TAD: You must get sick of being everyone's mum?
SUSAN: Na, sometimes it works out alright, doesn't it?
They hug. Joe and Lyn come out to say goodbye and Joe jokes about finding him another apprentiship, so Tad retaliates by saying he'll tell the boys about his skating. Lyn wishes him luck, leaving Tad unsure what to say. Tad and Harold get into the car, as Susan tells him to make a phone call occasionally. They drive off listening to Tad's remix of Harold playing the tuba - took me a while to figure out where the tuba noise was coming from!
Number 30
Dee isn't impressed by Stuarts shoulder massaging, but Stuart tells her to stop complaining. He ends up tickling her and the one sided massage soon becomes a two sided tickling contest. Dee goes for Stuart's nipple, but he tells her it could give him cancer! What! That's the poorest excuse I've ever heard!
Stuart claims he's not ticklish apart from one point, which Dee finds pretty quickly. He grabs her hands and pushes her away, but the end up pashing!
They break it up, and Stuart quickly tells her it was a stupid thing to do. He starts to say something but decides to stop. Realising something is up, Dee tries to prise it out of him, but he tells her that he loves Flick. He admits it's probably a hopeless cause, but he can't help it. She wishes him luck.
