Recap
- Harold asks Lou what the film is about, Lou says a romantic comedy, Harold says like Julia Roberts, Lou says similar same genre, but less extravagant.
- Emily asks Evan if he is going to kill the mice, he replies not in a bad way, to which she runs away.
- Karl tells Serena he is not entirely happy with her performance lately and he is giving her first warning.
Doctor's Surgery
Darcy is asking Karl why he gave Serena a warning, but Karl cannot explain why. Karl says she is not suited to a medical centre, and answers the phone to Mrs Benton, who wants to Serena about a facial mask recipe, but he cannot answer. After he hangs up Darcy rings to say he is making a big mistake.
Coffee Shop
Lou greets Harold, but Harold is not happy as Tad wants to leave home as he saw the rental section open, Lou thinks he is just sourcing what is out there. Harold says that just because he has left high school he does not need to leave home.
Toadie walks in and is ready to got to meet the stars, and wants Harold to sign up, he has signed up two more people Reg and Graham they put up a fair amount of money. Harold hopes he has not forced his friends into something they will regret. Toadie says it is above board.
Doctor's Surgery
Darcy says what does over friendly mean, Karl says she is not the right person for the job, Darcy says she is doing her job, but Karl says she is passing on facial mask recipes for every second patient. Darcy asks if he wanted a friendlier practice, he did but it is a personality clash, and that afternoon she was inappropriate. Darcy says is she coming on to him, he says yes and it makes things unconformable, Darcy says he hurt her feelings.
Karl leaves to answer the phone.
The Pub
Evan, Maggie are at the bar ordering drinks and complaining of being exhausted, she asks if he has worked out how to handle teaching Leo and he will be walking a fine line.
Leo asks Emily what she has, she has a mouse, Pinky, which she saved.
No 30
Tad is asking Toadie if he has asked Dee yet, about Joel's room, Toadie says that Tad wants to pay money to move across the street, but he has not asked Harold yet if he finds something, but he has not asked Dee yet and thinks Tad should ask Harold first, but it is hard as Tad does not want Harold to think he is abandoning him, but agrees to speak to him soon.
The Pub
Maggie and Evan are trying to explain to Emily that they do not feel a thing, and they are very simple animals but Emily does not agree.
Joe is looking forward to going out in the morning for a bit of a whack, at the cricket training, Darcy cannot come as he has a meeting about the film he is investing in. Lyn says does anyone know Joe is running for council, Darcy says he did not think Joe was into that sort of thing, but Joe says it is not definite. Karl asks what his platform is, Joe says he will look at building regulations, Darcy says that is good but Karl says he has to cover other issues as well. Joe says that he can win even if he did not go to some fancy school, Karl says University.
Coffee Shop
Toadie says hi to Harold who is packing up, as he is cooking lasagne for Tad, and does Toadie have a man to man chat with Tad as he is wondering if he wants to move out of number 24, Toadie says he asked about Joel's old room but is not sure if he has made the decision, and does he want him to say no?
Darcy says it is about time someone acknowledged the investor's contribution, they invite Harold to join them but he declines, and says that the director Alan Biggs made romantic comedies in the late 1960s, Lou saw one chasing Chezech with a pancake batter. Lou and Darcy leave as Tad walks in.
Tad asks if he smells, Toadie asks if he has done that thing.
The School
Evan says Mrs Bandstone is furious as someone has let the mice out of their cages, and anyone who knows should own up, as if it is a joke he is not laughing.
Coffee Shop
Harold asks Tad when he is going, Tad says it is not definite he is just looking for options, and he did not know what to say, Harold says he needs his own space and hopes it is nothing he has said or done, and soon he will want to stay up late and entertain his friends and does not want to get in his way.
Conference Room
Toadie has another investor and Lou has 3 more investors, which Jodie says is fantastic, Darcy walks in and is told Lou has more investor, Darcy has 5 more at $2,000 each, she goes to get champagne, she toasts to wise investment and that for series financial commitment can get an associates producers credit on the film.
Coffee Shop
Leo is telling Emily to hide the mice, Emily says they saved them he says be careful or they will escape.
Harold is serving Maggie and gives her one extra for little Emily, she says that Emily says she needs new party shoes today, Harold goes to get the milkshakes as Maggie goes back to the table, she wants to know what is going on but is happy as they are not fighting.
Leo says she has to let them go as if Dad found out he would smoke him, as Evan walks in.
Evan asks why Leo did it, he says Emily was upset. Evan cannot believe he would got o these lengths, Maggie thinks it is very sweet, Evan says he should consider his consequences off his actions, and he looked like an idiot today, Leo is sorry, Evan is still angry and says that he must treat him as a teacher, and he has to deal with it and respect him.
Maggie says she is a scallywag with a ratbag, and what are they going to with the mice, she spells d-i-s-e-c-t them, which Emily corrects as having 2 s's, Evan says they cannot dissect them.
Terrace
Lou says he likes the sound of being an associate producer, Toadie wonders what one is as Harold arrives, Jodie Michael introduces herself to Harold and asks if he is thinking of investing, he asks if he can see a script and she says the scripts are improvised mainly.
Surgery
Karl answers the phone to Mr Currant and he agrees she is friendly before booking an appointment.
Lyn walks in and wants to book a checkup, Joe walks in and asks for Karl's signature as he wants to enroll as an independent candidate, he signs and offers him good luck.
Terrace
Harold cannot wait until he sees how he handles the genre, they all seem very shocked by something hidden from camera. It turns out that it is an adult film, a blue movie.
