Amy announces that she's got a job as a trainee flight attendant.

Paul is doing schoolwork on the computer. Jade is hanging out and trying to distract Paul. He tells her they will go out tomorrow. Jade kisses Paul goodbye.
Ramsay Street
Tad intercepts Jade on Ramsay Street, much to her displeasure. He asks her out, but she says she doesn't want to be seen with him(!).
Martins
Phil and Ruth come in and Amy tells them about the flight attendant job. They are excited and say it will suit Amy really well. Lance is quietly cross.
Lance tells Amy he doesn't know how she's managed to keep this quiet for so long, normally she broadcast her life's events to everyone. Lance thinks she's stupid - it's a glorified waitress job and she can do much better than that. She says he wants to be a gardener so he can't talk. She storms out.

Bess is cooking dinner when Sarah comes in. Tad comes in depressed about "women".
Martins
Ruth is on the phone to an old friend who is thinking of applying for the Vice-Principal's job at Erinsobrough High. Phil tells Ruth that they are going challenge the Kennedys to orienteering.
Lance is off to meet Amy and Ruth tells him to go easy on her.

Tad is pouring his heart out to Bess and Sarah. He says he needs help to ask Jade out. Bess and Sarah says they'll make him into a chick magnet(!). Sarah suggests he overwhelm her with gifts, but Bess says he should just be himself. Tad starts making notes(!).
The Coffee Shop
Amy tells Lance that a being flight attendant isn't a glorified waitress. Lance says he knows. He says he's upset that Amy has organised a whole new life without telling him. Amy says that they all have secrets and probes him about his girlfriend. Lance says he doesn't have to tell her anything - it was her idea to break up and he doesn't owe her anything. He leaves.
Ramsay Street
Sarah is off to work and chats with Ruth and Susan in the street. Bob is apparently much better. When Sarah has left Susan is still uncomfortable. Ruth invites Susan in for a coffee. She says she has a new challenge for the Kennedys - orienteering!
Martins
Amy arrives to see Lance. She has come to apologise - she doesn't want to fight anymore. She asks Lance if they can be friends again and he good-naturedly agrees. Amy asks Lance if he'll do her a favour - come to the doctor's with her. It's airline policy that she gets immunised against everything - she hates needles so much and she's really, really scared. He says it's stretching the friendship, but agrees.
Bishops
Paul asks Madge if he can go on the Internet. She says she'll try to talk Harold around. Paul says he's off to the moview with Jade. Tad looks fed up.

Sarah has had a good day at work and has been shopping on the way home. Bess is emailing her friend in New Zealand - the conference is going well.
Outside Lassiters
Tad sees Jade coming out of the Coffee Shop. He goes to the phonebox and rings Jade's home. He pretends to be Paul and asks Jade's mother if Jade can meet "Paul" at the Coffee Shop tonight instead of his house.

Ruth and Phil are talking to Ruth's old friend - she says she needs a new challenge.
The Coffee Shop
Jade comes in to meet Paul. Tad pretends to be surprised to see her there. Jade asks if Tad has seen Paul but he says that he hasn't. Jade is cross that Paul has stood her up. Tad offers here a drink and she agrees. Tad orders a horrible-sounding drink and Jade is unimpressed.
Bishops
Paul's father rings up. He asks Paul what he's doing in the Easter holidays and invites him to go down to Port Lincoln and go on a trawler with him. Paul tells his father he has to go as he's waiting for a girl to call. Paul's worried that Jade has stood him up.
The Coffee Shop
Tad is trying to chat Jade up but she isn't impressed. She says that good-looking guys always have a loser as a mate, and Tad is the loser. Jade is cross that Paul has stood her up.
Martins
It seems that Amy and Lance both fainted at the doctor's(!). They joke about the incident. Amy says Karl spent more time with Lance than with her(!). They are getting along very well. Amy hugs Lance and says that she's glad they're friends.
The Coffee Shop
Tad and Jade are getting along better. Paul comes in. Jade and Paul realise that Tad changed the meeting place and they both glare at him.
