No.30
Sarah and her mother are having a quiet night in. Tad is playing about with a prothetic arm. Sarah will take it to the hospital the following day.
No.30, the following morning
Tad has cooked yet another enormous breakfast(!). He refers to Sarah as "Shak"!

Sarah's mother is reading an article about water quality in the area. Sarah said it would be embarrassing if she started a protest. Sarah's mother says she hasn't got time to rest while the Earth is being destroyed.

Sarah hasn't got a job still. Tad suggests she works for Karl as his receptionist is doing jury duty with Phil. Also Sarah doesn't want to work at the pub because Libby is there.

Mike's(No.32)
Mike's mother has invited him, but not Libby, out for dinner for their 35th wedding anniversary.

The Garage
Paul is cleaning cars furiously. His dad comes to apologise to him. He says the time they've spent together over the last few days has been the best thing that's ever happened to him. He says he's trying to turn himself into someone Paul would be proud of. Paul's dad didn't know his own dad either, so he wants to be different.

Tad comes up and invites Paul to hang out. He arranges to meet his dad at the Coffee Shop later and his dad helps him finish off cleaning the cars.

No.30
Sarah has been offered the receptionist's job in Karl's office by the temp agency. She's worried she won't get another job with them because she turned this one down. Her mother has guessed the situation with Karl, Libby and Sarah. Sarah is really fed up. Her mother is optimistic, however.

Mike's(No.32)
Mike is cross and says he will tell his mother he's not going. Libby says he should just go or they'll only blame Libby for stopping him.

Ramsay Street
Sarah's mother is talking to Madge. She asks her if she'll buy some cosmetics - she's trying to drum up some business for Sarah. Madge is on her way to practice with the Grey Growlers. Madge invites Sarah's mother to come along.

Bishops
Paul's dad tells Paul that Madge and Harold are good people. He is about to leave for Adelaide. He invites Paul over during his next holidays. Paul's dad says he and Paul's mother had their differences but that she did an incredible job bringing him up. He's proud of both of them.

No.30
Tad is reading the dating section in the newspaper. Sarah's mother says all the ads are exaggerated. Sarah comes in and says that all the food has gone - Tad says he has a healthy appetite. Also, the prosthetic arm has gone. Tad tells Sarah to stop hassling him.

Tad says he is worn out because Toadie talks in his sleep. They ask him what about. Tad tries to evade but Sarah's mother guesses - Toadie talks about Sarah! Sarah is horrified.

Later at No.30
Sarah's mother has been finding out about the water situation from Libby. Sarah is not pleased that she is talking to Libby - her life is still being ruined by the Kennedy family. They chat about Toadie and Sarah's mum says he acts very strangely around her. Sarah says that he used to have a crush on her but she thought he'd got over it. Sarah says she'd fed up with her mother's constant crusading for causes and ignoring her own family. She says her mother's obsessions have always come first. She also shouts that she wants her mother to stop calling her Shakira!

Mike's(No.32)
Mike comes home from the dinner to find Libby asleep on the couch. He says that his parents had invited Victoria as an attempt to matchmake them back together.

Sarah's mother tells her that she takes on causes because she cares. For example, the hospital fundraiser is a good cause, and also they might look well on Sarah after it and give her her job back. Sarah says she still doesn't want her mother talking to Libby. Her mother says she has to look at things from other people's point of view. She says that Sarah will never be free of the Kennedys because her sister Catherine is living in London with Mal Kennedy. Sarah says being civil is one thing but being chummy with them is quite another.

Mike's(No.32)
Mike thanks Libby for being understanding about last night. Libby said that she doesn't understand - she's fed up. She's tried hard and been patient. She's made some progress with Victoria and Sasha but that Mike's parents will never come around.
