Kennedys
Susan is peeling carrots furiously. Libby comes in and tells her that the editor from the Eninsborough News has been sacked. She realises Susan is not OK and asks her why. Susan tells Libby that Karl won't be living there anymore. He's had an affair and she's asked him to leave. She also tells her that the affair is between Karl and Sarah. Libby is shocked.

The Coffee Shop
Bill is depressed about his parents. Amy comes in and says she's heard that the school captain is leaving Erinsborough because she's four months pregnant! Bill isn't really in the mood to hear gossip and leaves. Amy tells Anne that as vice-captain she'll have to take the place of the school captain. She's looking forward to doing things her way!

Kennedys
Libby is raging. Susan tells Libby that what has happened mustn't change her relationship with him - it's between Susan and Karl. Bill comes in. Susan insists they both sit down for dinner with her like everything is normal.

Surgery
Karl is sitting in the surgery, devastated.

Lou's
Drew is reading the paper and chats to Lou about Libby's fight against her editor. Lou is still trying to use up all the beef dishes, but Drew is sick of beef! Drew suggests an all-you-can-eat week at Little Tommy Tuckers. Lou is very impressed with this idea and goes off to ring an advertising agency to get some flyers printed up.

No.30
Libby bashes on the door wanting to see Sarah. Toadie says she's in her bedroom.

Wilkinsons
Anne, Amy and Lance are hanging out. Amy tells them she's getting the wedding photos developed and will bring them over in the morning. When she's gone, Anne muses that Amy is suddenly growing some brains(!). Lance asks why Bill was off in the Coffee Shop. Anne tells him that Karl has been having an affair with Sarah.

No.30
Libby is going ballistic with Sarah. She is raging that she's been talking to her about being in love with a married man for six months. Sarah says nothing has been going on - all she's done is fall in love with Karl and she has nothing to feel guilty about. Libby rages that Susan has thrown Karl out of the house, so that's plenty for Sarah to feel guilty about.

A motel
Karl is booking himself in to a motel. He gets to the room and sits dejectedly on the bed.

Kennedys
Susan is reading furiously. She asks Bill to stop staring at her. He suggests she goes to bed.

Motel
Karl is dialling a number.

Kennedys
The phone rings. Bill tells Karl that Susan doesn't want to speak to him and neither does Bill. He asks Bill not to hang up - he wants Bill to bring him some clothes to the motel. Bill says, "no guarantees" and puts the phone down. Susan tells Bill where to find the clothes, but she won't take them over to Karl - Bill will have to.
Libby comes in and tells Susan that's she's given Sarah a piece of her mind. Libby rages at Bill for taking clothes to Karl, but Susan says it's OK.

No.30
Sarah is wondering what's going to happen now that Karl's been chucked out of the house. Toadie tells her that doesn't open the door for her(!). Sarah wonders how it could have got out, and then realises that only Toadie knew so it must have been him.

Motel
Bill comes in with the clothes for Karl. Karl asks how Susan is. Bill is very angry with Karl, but Karl asks him to get Susan to listen to him. Bill refuses to be the messenger and leaves.

Wilkinsons
Lance is telling Anne about his biology project - studying fungus that attacks plants. Anne is studying Sociology - a project about the destitute and Harold is going to help her with it.
Hannah comes in and says that Phil has gone to help Debbie out for a few days. Hannah has been told to move in with Anne and Lance while they're gone.
Amy comes in and shows them the wedding photos. There is an absolutely hideous one of Hannah(!).

Kennedys
Susan is cleaning silverware furiously. Libby is going to meet with the union rep. Bill and Libby bicker a bit. Libby asks Susan if she'll come on a picnic with her later. Susan says she's not in the mood for anything. She does need to go anywhere or do anything - she's fine. Libby and Bill leave Susan to her cleaning.
Libby asks Bill quietly to keep an eye on Susan.

The Garage
Libby drives up on her motorbike. Drew sees that she is upset. Libby tells Drew that her parents have split up. Lou and Drew are both stunned. She tells them that an affair with Sarah has been going on for ages.

Wilkinsons
Ruth has rung to say she's on the way to Broome - her mother isn't very well. She won't be back for a couple of weeks. Anne goes off to meet Harold. Hannah has been cleaning the kitchen. It seems she has thrown out Lance's fungus not realising it was his school project.

Surgery
Sarah comes in to see Karl. She says she's heard about Susan and apologises. Then she says that Karl said he loved her once but that it wasn't the right time. Maybe now it is!
