Recap
Lou gets everyone fired up over the park.
Bianca has done a review of Number 24 and has a list of all of the potential break-in areas. Sam wonders how she learnt about it all. Bianca tells him it's the influence of the detention centre(!)
Brett is sick but won't go to the doctor, thinking it's just a 24 hour bug.
Phil is wearing a sauna suit(!) to help him lose weight. Helen and Hannah laugh at him.
Lou and Cheryl's
Brett and Danni get home from school. Brett is still feeling awful. Lou shows them a final draft of his campaign speech while Brett dies on the sofa. He says it's only a 24-hour thing but Danni thinks it's more serious than that.
Martins
Hannah is doing her maths homework and Phil is still wearing his sauna suit. Hannah tells Phil that she got in through the bathroom window because she forgot her key. Phil says that it doesn't bode well for burglars and says he'll ask Bianca to do their house too!
Phil starts exercising in his silver suit. Hannah says he looks like a sweaty spaceman!
Coffee Shop
Susan is reading Libby's romance novel. Susan says she thinks Karl will like it - it's pretty hot stuff. Mark comes up and says that they look like they need a bit of romance in their lives(!) He tells them he's raffling off his Whitsundays tickets and they buy some.
Number 24
Sam is worried about Annalise but Bianca tells him not to worry (how heartless). Phil comes round in his silver tacksuit and asks Bianca to do a security check on his house. She agrees and says that she and Sam should go into business as a security company!
When Phil has gone, Sam boggles about the silver suit. Bianca tells him that Marlene sold it to him as a sauna suit!
Kennedys
Susan and Karl are reading Libby's romance story together and really getting into the plot and characters(!) Karl said that they should be disturbed that their own 17 year old wrote this! They chat philosophically about the kids growing up and leaving home. Then they go back to reading the story. Karl tries to pash Susan, but she's engrossed in the book!
Lou and Cheryl's
Brett is flaked out on the table and crawls off to bed while Lou and Danni work on Lou's election speech. Cheryl opens the paper and finds an editorial on Lou saying that Carpenters Cars are shonky. It says that Lou sells faulty merchandise while claiming to be a pillar of the community.
Martins
Hannah wants Phil to take off the silver tracksuit but he refuses. Karl comes round to see Helen about the portrait, but she's gone to her self-defence class. Karl asks Phil why he's wearing a tracksuit. Phil says it's a sauna suit. Karl says all Phil will loose is water content - he has to go on a proper low-fat diet and exercise. Phil looks downcast.
Lou and Cheryl's
Lou is fuming about the article saying that people believe what they read in the papers. He thinks it will seriously hurt his campaign. Cheryl tells him he can't pull out now because it would be like admitting guilt.
Kennedys
Karl is making a horrendous-looking green cocktail for Susan. They start talking as if they're in a romance novel! Susan drags Karl off to the bedroom!
Outside the Robinsons
Hannah is practising with her rhythmic gymnastics ribbon. Phil jogs up looking knackered and tells Sam that he's abandoned the sauna suit. Sam tells Phil that he and Bianca have already started the security check on Phil's house.
Lou and Cheryl's
Lou is going to complain to the editor of the paper about the defammatory article. Cheryl tells Lou to be careful - it might make things worse.
Susan calls round to beg Cheryl to take over Angie's part in the play. She says she'll think about it and Susan starts thanking her profusely and leaves her the script!
Cheryl calls Brett down. He staggers down in his dressing gown saying he feels shocking. Cheryl cuddles him and says she's going to make a doctor's appointment for him. He goes back to bed.
Martins
Bianca sees a photo of Julie and asks Sam who she is. Sam tells her the story about Julie's death and she says it must be tough on Hannah. Bianca says she doesn't remember her real parents - her first memory is of the orphanage. Sam asks if Bianca wants to find her mother, but she doesn't really.
Park
Hannah is boring Phil by talking about rhythmic gymnastics. Phil is very sore from his jog earlier! Hannah says he should do warm-up stretches first and shows him how. Unfortunately Phil gets cramp in his calf and falls to the ground!
Lou and Cheryl's
Brett is prone on the couch under a blanket while Lou rants about the newspaper article. Cheryl says that she's made him an appointment with Karl in fifteen minutes so he staggers off to get dressed.
Number 24
Sam has rung the hospital - Annalise is in the operating theatre now. He's very worried about her. Bianca tells him to stop talking like Annalise is going to die. She says that Annalise belongs here with them - she's one of the family. Bianca says that she feels like one of the family too - though she never thought she'd ever have a family.
Surgery
Karl is examining Brett. Karl tells him that he's got mumps. Brett is worried that he's contagious and also that he'll become infertile. Karl says it is a possibility.
