Hospital
Lou is visiting Cheryl. Apparently the baby is out of danger and they are both very relieved. Cheryl has to stay on bed rest for now and they're going to operate on her ankle tomorrow.
CHERYL: I am going to sue the pants off Julie! I've made up my mind!
LOU:(calmly) She's already up for police prosecution. Your medical bills are covered by third party, you know?
CHERYL: They're not! The private room's extra, the telly's extra, the physio's extra...
She starts ranting incoherently then groaning.
LOU: Where does it hurt?
CHERYL: Oh, it hurts *everywhere*!
A nurse called Karl comes in to give Cheryl a bed bath. Apparently the nurse gives back rubs too. Lou looks uneasy and makes himself scarce.

Doug, Gaby, Cody and Sam are eating guacamole when Pam comes in.
PAM: Hi, everyone!
They welcome her back. She shows them her trophy for "Best Presented Bike". She tells Sam that he can stay in Brad's room - apparently Sam and his grandmother are moving into the street!
Pub
Four ladies who are dressed up come in. They're looking for a venue for a 21st birthday - they'd like cocktails, preferably served like Tom Cruise. Rick says he'll whip them up some excellent cocktails.
Lou comes in as Rick is pondering cocktails. He's still upset about the "male nurse". Rick starts putting on a cocktail show for the women, then pours the green liquid into glasses.
LOU: Strewth, what is it?
RICK: Trade secret, Lou. If I told you, I'd had to kill you.
After putting cherries in, he takes the cocktails over to the women.

Doug and Pam are having a catch- up. He's a bit surprised at Pam taking Sam under her wing.
PAM: What's new here?
DOUG: Well, where to I start? Cheryl's in hospital.
PAM: What, did the baby came early?
DOUG: Julie ran over her.
PAM:(gasps) Ohhhh!
DOUG: Mother and child seem to have pulled through.
PAM: What? I mean? So, was it an accident?
DOUG: Probably.
PAM: Probably?!
DOUG: Now here's a shocker, Macca's gay!
PAM: Really?
DOUG: Knocked me for six, you think you know a bloke...
PAM: ...well unless he's made a pass at you, Doug, it shouldn't make any difference. Tell me about Julie and Cheryl!
DOUG: Y'know, they've been at each other's throats lately...
PAM: Oh, it *must* have been an accident, not even Julie would...
DOUG: Yeah, of course.
PAM: So, what's new *here*?
DOUG: Hmmm...
PAM: Gaby looks well.
DOUG: Mmm- hmm.
PAM: What's Cody been up to?
DOUG: ...
(The following morning)
PAM: You got married?! Without telling anyone? I mean, I'm your *mother*!
Cody explains that it was a marriage of convenience in some ways.
CODY: Look, Mum. I fell in love, I got married, it didn't work out, I'm getting divorced. It's not a big deal.
PAM: No big deal?! Oh, good Lord, Cody!
Sam interrupts and says he's moving into No.24. Pam starts to say that it can't be, but she turns back to Cody.
Just then, there's a knock at the door and it's Drew.
CODY: Mum?
PAM: What?!
CODY: This is my mum. Mum, this is Drew.
Pam is speechless.
PAM: Your...? Cody's husband?
DREW: I'm afraid so, yes. It's a pleasure to meet you, ma'am.
He holds out a hand. She doesn't take it.
PAM: Yes, well, I'm...er...I wish I could say the same.
DREW: Yeah, I guess I am a bit of a shock. (To Cody) Doesn't anybody in this country shake hands?
CODY: What?
DREW: Oh, nothing.
They are about to leave.
PAM: No, Cody, we have *things* to talk about!
CODY: No, Mum, I've told you everything!
PAM: Cody!
CODY: No, Mum, later!
She heads off with Drew.
No.24
Sam knocks the door and tells Lou that his gran has bought the house!
Lassiter's Complex
Cody still wants to know why Drew has come over to see her in person. He keeps telling her how much she meant to him.
DREW: Look, Cody. I'm just not handling life without you.
Hospital
Pam and Lou have come to see Cheryl. Apparently the operation went well, but she'll be in plaster for six weeks.
LOU: I don't know how she's going to react to the news. They've sold our house from underneath us.
CHERYL:(waking up) Lou?
Lassiter's Complex
Cody and Gaby are having a catch- up.
GABY: Just agree to the divorce and tell him to get lost!
CODY: It's not that easy.
Mark brings their coffees over. Gaby wonders is Cody is still in love with Drew.
GABY: He's already let you down once, what makes you think it'll be any different the next time?
CODY: Well...situations change. People change.
GABY: Hmmm.
Hospital
Lou has apparently spoken to Madge and it's true - she *has* sold the house, through an agent. Cheryl is not happy but Lou says they'll sort it out somehow.
Karl the nurse comes in and Lou looks worried again(!)
Pub
Rick asks Annalise to order some more green alcohol for cocktails, as the customers loved them! Annalise is dubious.
Lou and Doug come in. Doug can't believe that Madge has sold the house behind his back. They catch up about Drew and Sam. Doug has to rush to the loo halfway through the conversation though.
Coffee Shop
Mark and Karyn are very busy in the Coffee Shop. Sam comes in looking for work. Mark says he can start immediately and throws him an apron!
Pub
Cody and Drew come in. Cody introduces him to Rick whose face falls. Doug and Lou are catching up about Julie - apparently she's so upset she's spending most of her time in bed. Lou starts banging on about the male nurse and Doug suggests he asks Pam to pull a few string and get him removed. Er...what?! Lou is pleased.
(Later)
Doug has rung Pam, and apparently Felicity at the hospital is going to look into the Karl/Cheryl care situation.
At the bar, Rick asks Cody why she's "all over" Drew - she described him the boyfriend from hell!
RICK: I care about you, OK?
CODY: Yeah, right. But you've got no claim on me, OK, so butt out!
RICK: OK.
Hospital
Lou doesn't think Cheryl should sue Julie, as it would affect the whole Martin family. Cheryl starts saying how lovely Karl the nurse is. Just then, a very efficient female nurse comes in and says Karl has been transferred to East Ward.
NURSE: Now, can I just get you to roll over...?
CHERYL: No!
Pub
The women from last night have come in looking for Rick. They want to order more of Rick's cocktails. Annalise tells them they don't have any more of the ingredients and they start to stomp off. Luckily, Rick comes in and he's bought more of the green alcohol. Annalise smiles at him despite herself.
Coffee Shop
Mark tells Sam he's done well, but he'll have to talk to "the boss" about a permanent job.
Outside, Sam is wiping down tables when Annalise comes along. Mark introduces them and they both look quite taken with each other!
MARK: This is the guy who's going to answer our prayers, Annalise! He did a casual shift today and he's whizz! I think he's just what we need to replace Christie, what do you say?
ANNALISE: I'd say you're hired.
SAM: Thank you.
They are still looking at each other, flirtily.
MARK: Great!
Pub
Cody and Drew are getting on well and suddenly have a kiss on the bridge. Cody pulls away from the second kiss.
DREW: Do you want me to?
CODY: No.
DREW: But...?
CODY: I can't.
