CHERYL: Oh, well...when a mummy and a daddy realllly love each other...
LOU: Oh, yeah?! Well, at least you're smiling. That's a good sign.
CHERYL: Well, I don't know whether to laugh or cry, I feel like I've had the best news and the worst news all in one go!
LOU: It's confusing, isn't it.
CHERYL: A little. Me and a baby...
LOU: Yeah. Something special.
CHERYL: That it is. But...it's going to tie us down for some time.
LOU: Oh, we've got loads of years left in us yet!
CHERYL: And what about in fifteen years' time, do you think we'll still feel like being parents?
LOU: Yeah! Keep us young, I reckon.
CHERYL: It was exhausting enough the first time round.
LOU: You don't regret it though, do you?
CHERYL: No. Except that they grow up and get minds of their own(!)
Lou laughs.
CHERYL: What do you really think?
LOU: I think, times have changed. For both of us.
CHERYL: A second chance. If we want it.
They kiss.

LOU: Well...perhaps we should keep it quiet for a while.
CHERYL: Another pregnancy? I mean, it'll be a bit of a strain.
