Gaby gives Rick his pay and uses the opportunity to tell him off for pestering Sally.
GABY: You're just making her unhappy, Rick, is that what you want?
RICK: What's this got to do with you anyway? If Sally wants to see me, then it's none of your business.
GABY: Rick, you are the last person on Earth that Sally wants to see right now. That's why she went away.
RICK: Where's she gone?!
GABY: Away.
RICK: Well, when is she coming back?!
GABY: She didn't say. But when she does, I wouldn't get any wild ideas about picking up where you left off. As far as she's concerned, there's nothing to pick up.
RICK: Then what's she so upset about? I mean, if she didn't care, then she wouldn't care, would she?
GABY: What?!
RICK: Yeah. Thanks for the chat, Gab, but I'd rather discuss it with Sally. And if you're in touch with her, tell her it's OK. I understand, I'll wait. Thanks, Gab.
Gaby walks off, rolling her eyes.
