Robinsons
Benito is very happy about the appointment, but Julie is furious. She immediately starts laying in to Paul. Benito feels uncomfortable and decides to leave. Julie tells Paul that he's done the dirty on them. Phil tries to calm her down saying he'll get another job. But Julie is panicking about their finances.

Paul says he had to choose Benito - he has the right qualification and experience, so he's the right man for the job.

Phoebe is playing Snakes and Ladders with Beth and Brad, but is distracted and fingering the friendship ring that Todd gave her.

Toby comes round to see Phoebe and the others go off to the shop.

Ramsay Street
Benito is worried that his appointment has caused a problem in Paul's family, but Paul tells him not to worry about. Besides, Julie's interfering was one of the main reasons that he turned Phil down.

Benito sees Brad and Beth going to the shop and asks them if they've seen any sign of Rick.

No.22
Christina and Cathy are chatting about Benito being so strict on on the boys. Cathy wishes Rick would just ring up or something to let her know he's safe.

Paul and Benito come in talking about the Martins' financial situation - they're going to try to find something for Phil at Lassiter's.

Garage of the Robinsons
Debbie is chatting to Rick and giving him some food. Someone comes in - it's Beth - she's looking for her plane. Luckily she finds it before she comes across Rick. But then she hears a noise and discovers Rick. She shouts at Debbie for hiding Rick - his parents are frantic.

Robinsons
Julie is baking some scones and telling Phil how scared she is about the future. Phil thinks that she's over-reacting. Debbie overhears them talking about Phil being out of work and is upset that they didn't tell her and Hannah. Now they won't be going home again and she won't be able to say goodbye to her friends. Phil assures her that he'll find a job soon.

Coffee Shop
Beth is trying to persuade Rick to go home - he can't stay on the run forever. Rick moans that his father threatened to send him to boarding school, but Beth tells him to give Benito a chance.

Willises
Phoebe can't find her friendship ring so Toby and Brad help her to turn the place upside-down looking for it. Phoebe tries to retrace her steps but can't and then she starts to cry.

Robinsons
Julie is still being frosty with Paul over the Lassiter's job. Paul offers Phil a job and Phil accepts it, even though he doesn't know what it is yet(!) Paul explains that he has an opening for a barman at the Waterhole. Julie is appalled, but Phil tells her firmly that he'll take it and shakes Paul's hand. She continues to protest, though.

PHIL: Julie, shut up! (to Paul) I'll take it. And thanks.
PAUL: My pleasure.

No.22
Cathy is singing the praises of Paul's house - it's close to work and to Marco. Benito agrees to rent it out when she and Paul go away. They'll rent out their own house while they live there.

Just then, Rick comes in and Cathy hugs him. Benito immediately starts lecturing him and Rick says he's sorry he came back. Rick tells Benito that he doesn't have any heart at all.

Brad, Toby and Phoebe are searching for the ring. Phoebe is still upset, so Brad goes back to his place to have another look.

No.22
Benito is still lecturing Rick about the "value of discipline". But eventually he concedes that Rick must have been very upset about the boarding school thing, so they'll give him another chance. Rick is stoked to hear that they're moving to Ramsay Street. He goes to hug him, but Benito fends him off. He goes out, upset.

Cathy tells Benito that the boys need to know how much their father loves him, not only given rules and regulations.

Robinsons
Beth tells Debbie that Rick is moving to Ramsay Street. She is chuffed.

Julie tells Phil in the living room that the barman job isn't good enough for him - but Phil says he's lucky to have a job at all. He can look for something more permanent when he's bringing in a pay packet.

PHIL: Julie, if I'm such a disappointment to you, maybe you should find yourself another husband.
JULIE: Oh no, darling. I'm sorry.
PHIL: So you should be.

He goes dejectedly off to his room.

Debbie comes out and tells Julie off for putting Phil down. She says if Julie's that concerned she should go out and get a job herself.

Willises
Brad and Toby are looking for the ring again, but Phoebe has gone to No.30 to look.

Just then, Beth comes round - she's found the ring in her shirt - it must have fallen off the table earlier.

No.30
Brad comes round to give Phoebe the ring back. She is very relieved and puts it on her finger. Brad goes home, but Phoebe stays behind to feed Oscar.

Just then a man comes out of one of the bedrooms holding a gun. They seem to know each other and the man warns Phoebe not to make a sound - he'll use the gun if he has to.
