Schoolyard
Henry makes a mad dash for the car and manages to jump in and stop it before it crashes into another car. Katie says it's the most exciting thing that's ever happened to her!
Robinsons
Helen is giving Todd the maps and exhibition invitations for he and Lucy to deliver. Lucy arrives and announces that her exam results were high, meaning she will probably get into Arlingwood College. Lucy apologises to Todd for hugging him before and says it's just because she was excited. He says it's ok and suggests they start delivering the invitations.
The Office
Paul is tucking into a huge donut whilst Gail sips mineral water. She says he is not playing fair. Des arrives and speaks to them about arrangements for Daphne's Dad's funeral. Des asks if they can take Eileen to the funeral as he will be staying with Daphne. Gail offers to baby-sit Jamie and Des says that would be great; Paul can drop her at the Laurence house and Daphne can take her back to Ramsay Street afterwards. Des thanks them both for all their help and says he can't wait to have Daphne and Jamie back home with him.
Robinsons
Jim is reprimanding Henry for putting Katie's life in danger. Beverly tells him to calm down but Jim tells Henry to leave. Todd arrives home and Jim tells him all about the accident. Beverly says they will have to find professional care for the kids after school. Jim suggests she cut her evening surgery down but Beverly says it would be easier for him to take time off. Todd says he can look after Katie and wishes they would trust him for once.
Clarkes
Eileen is cleaning the house from top to bottom. Des thanks her for all her help since Daphne's been away. Helen arrives with some flowers for Daphne's homecoming and comments on how excited everyone is to have Daphne home. Eileen asks Helen to have dinner with her so that she can apologise for the invitation mix up.
Robinsons
Todd is trying to convince Jim and Beverly to let him look after Katie. Lucy comes in and asks what s going on. When Katie tells her Todd will be looking after them Lucy flies into a rage! She says she is older than Todd and doesn't need looking after. Jim tells her Todd has offered to take on this commitment and says they should give him a go.
Lassiters
Paul and Gail are having a romantic dinner. She allows him to choose her dinner seeing as she's still on her diet. He orders green salad for Gail and lobster for himself. Gail says he can try as hard as he likes to put her off the diet and insists she'll win the bet if it kills her. Paul says it may kill him, as he's never eaten this much in his life. He says he'd rather they called the whole bet off then spend their time arguing. They talk about how they used to argue and Paul says he couldn't eat, sleep or think whilst Gail was in America. Gail says she wishes she had known how he felt about her but Paul says it doesn't matter now and makes a toast to her.
Clarkes
Paul and Gail arrive to confirm arrangements with Eileen. Eileen thanks Gail for offering to look after Jamie. Helen says she can't make the funeral, as she has to be at the gallery.
Robinsons
Lucy tells Jim about the possibility of going to Arlington. She's having second thoughts and asks Jim if he'll miss her. He promises her he will and tells her she'll always be his special girl.
Jim: No one could ever replace you Luce.
Robinsons
Lucy, Todd and Katie are cooking breakfast for Jim and Beverly. Beverly thinks they are trying to show how responsible they can be.
Clarkes
Paul and Gail arrive to take Eileen to the funeral. Eileen doesn't approve of Gail's outfit and tells her she doesn't look respectful. Gail tells her she isn't going to the funeral and in her opinion a splash of colour helps people get through the hard times. Eileen fusses some more over the house before leaving for the funeral.
Daphne's Coffee Shop
Beverly tells Helen she'll never fill her shoes in the household. Helen tells her to delegate wherever possible. Helen rushes down her food and tells Beverly she has to hurry as her car is in the garage meaning she has to walk to the gallery. Beverly offers to drive her. Eileen arrives and says Daphne coped very well at the funeral. She tells Helen that Paul and Gail have been a tower of strength and once they lock up the Laurence house Gail, Daphne and Jamie will be heading back to Ramsay Street. Helen says how wonderful it will be to have Daphne back.
Helen: Ramsay Street hasn't been the same without Daphne.
The Office
Paul and Des arrive back and Des thanks him for all his help. He says he and Daphne want to take he and Gail out for lunch and Paul gratefully accepts his invitation. Paul teases Des about his diet but Des says he is pushing the boat out; his wife is coming home and if that doesn't call for celebration then nothing does.
Road
Beverly is driving Helen to the gallery. They pass the scene of an accident and Beverly says she should see if she can be of any help. As they approach the scene they see the woman being led away from the car is Gail.
Helen: Oh my God it's Gail. Where are Jamie and Daphne? They were with her.
