Outside Lassiters
Charlene stops Mrs Mangel from using the coin and it explains how it belongs to her. When Mrs Mangel realises it's an old coin she asks Charlene why she wants it. Charlene tells her it's her lucky charm and offers her $10 for it. Mrs Mangel says the coin is rightfully hers now and will have the coin valued in case she is taking more from Charlene than the coin is actually worth.
The Office
Des thanks Paul for giving Gail time off to spend with Daphne; he says between them they have the funeral arrangements under control. Des says he has a bone to pick with Gail after the funeral; once she mentioned her diet to Daphne she insisted Des go on a diet too. Paul is amused and says maybe now is the time to buy Des the lunch he owes him.
Garage
Charlene tells Tony about Mrs Mangel taking her coin. She says Mrs Mangel only got the coin through good luck, leading Tony to comment that's how she got the coin the first place. Charlene says she will get Harold to talk to Mrs Mangel about honesty.
Daphne's Coffee Shop
Harold tells Des he pulled a sickie and demands he dock him a days pay. Des is bemused and tells Harold it's no big deal but Harold insists Des discipline him
Mrs Mangel asks Des to look at the coin 'she' found. He recognises the coin and tells her how much it is worth. Jane arrives and wonders what Mrs Mangel and Harold are fighting about. The subject of the coin arises and Jane says it's a case of finder's keepers. However when she learns the coin was Charlene's she states that Charlene doesn't have good luck very often and hopes Mrs Mangel won't begrudge her this.
The Office
Paul is on the phone when Jane arrives late. She apologises and says she got tied up at The Coffee Shop. Paul comments on her tired state and Jane tells him that she went to the rock concert with Tony, Henry and Sally the night before. Paul is surprised that Jane is going out with Tony whilst Mikes away. Jane thanks him for his concern but says she and Tony are just friends.
Daphne's Coffee Shop
Henry asks Tony if he can take a look at his car. He doesn't want to ask Charlene, as he feels guilty about giving away her coin. Charlene overhears and Henry once again apologises for giving the coin to Katie. Tony asks Harold if he can nip out the back to see Sally. Harold tells him it's against regulations and sarcastically comments that he should talk to Jane instead. Harold also points out that Jane has a boyfriend.
Henry tells Scott and Charlene that he is babysitting Katie after school, whilst Charlene asks Harold to help her get the coin back from Mrs Mangel. He refuses and Charlene says she'll get the coin back with or without his help.
The Office
Des is waiting for Paul. Jane tells him she was sorry to hear about Daphne's father. Henry arrives and is complaining about his finances. He asks Des about a bank loan and Des tells him to enquire at the bank. Paul teases Des about his diet and Henry mocks him; telling him that the only way to lose weight is to exercise. Paul suggests they get a Ramsay Street squash competition going.
Daphne's Coffee Shop
As Scott and Charlene are leaving Mrs Mangel enters. Mrs Mangel says Charlene is at fault for trying to buy the coin from her for $10 when it is worth $3000. They continue to argue about whose coin it is causing Scott to lose his temper. He tells Charlene she has been a different person since she found the coin and says no amount of money is worth putting up with her recent behaviour. Mrs Mangel agrees with Scott and says Charlene is not mature enough to have that much money. Scott says she is no better and tells them the coin belongs to neither of them - it belongs to Mr Griffin.
School Ground
Katie walks out of school and some boys take her bag and throw it around the ground. After they've had their fun they start taunting her with calls of 'New Kid'.
Daphne's Coffee Shop
Charlene finishes a phone conversation with Mr Griffiths. She tells Mrs Mangel he had no idea the coin was in the car when he sold it. Charlene asks for it back as she wants to take it back to him. Mrs Mangel reluctantly retrieves the coin from her bag and tries to get Charlene to pay her the $10 she had originally offered for it!
Garage
Charlene is depressed about the coin. Mr Griffiths arrives and thanks her for her honesty. He tells he has some junk in the back of his car, she is unimpressed until she finds it is a spare part for Willie. Tony jokes that half the engine belongs to Mrs Mangel. Charlene says she hopes they can fix Henry's car tomorrow, as in it's current state it's dangerous.
School Yard
Henry arrives to pick up Katie and finds her still being taunted. He tells her to wait in the car whilst he talks to the boys. As Katie gets in the car it starts to roll forward.....
