Mrs Mangel is watching the commotion at the Clarkes when Madge arrives. She says she hopes there is nothing wrong as she just saw Helen run into the house with a doctor. Madge walks away and Mrs Mangel says that she was talking to her. Jane arrives and Madge tells her to tell her Grandmother that she can talk until she's blue in the face but none of the street will be listening to her. Madge leaves and Jane asks Mrs Mangel why she is behaving so spitefully. Mrs Mangel informs Jane that the neighbours can carry on playing their stupid games as she doesn't need anyone.
Clarkes
Des, Mike and Helen are waiting for news of Daphne. Beverly says Daphne has strained herself and wants to admit her to hospital overnight. Des panics but Beverly calms him saying that no damage has been done to Daphne or the baby. She is however concerned about Daphne's blood pressure and tells Des they need to get it down to a better level.
Ramsays
Madge is talking to Henry about the worries of motherhood. Henry assures her that Daphne will be ok. Henry is doing some paperwork and figures he can buy the lawnmower with the Liquid Beauty profits. Madge says after Jane, Charlene and Scott get their money back there won't be much left for him. Henry says he will buy the mower first and then pay them back with the profits from the gardening business. Madge thinks Henry should ask the others first. He says he will ask Jane is she says it's ok then he will go ahead. However before he starts he needs to get hold of the Liquid Beauty supplies that are stored in Mrs Mangels shed. Madge forbids him to go anywhere near that house!
Robinsons
Jane is preparing dinner when Jim notices she is a bit upset. Jane tells him that the neighbours are not talking to Mrs Mangel and states that it appears to be having no effect on her. Jim thinks it's a silly idea and doesn't think it will solve anything. Jane notices Jim is having back troubles and tells him to get it seen by a doctor. Jim says it's his knee, which is causing him pain as he got some metal caught in it at work.

Jane says its nicer going to a doctor you know but Jim reminds her that he and Beverly started off on the wrong foot. Henry arrives and tells Jane about the Liquid Beauty idea. Jane agrees he can borrow the money to start of the business and Henry asks her for one more favour - he needs the supplies from Mrs Mangels shed.

She tells him Beverly is here and can look at him for him. Helen and Jane start stirring and Helen calls Beverly into the kitchen. Helen asks her to look at Jim's leg. Beverly asks Jim to roll up his trouser leg and Jim explains it's a little higher than that! Beverly says they should go into the bedroom!

He is worried about his work at the bank and The Coffee Shop. They assure him Harold will manage the shop and tell him his friends are there for him.
