- Dipi asking Shane to stop picking on Ned.
- Emmett and Marty clashing at school over his work ethic.
- Shaun offering to tutor Emmett.
- Emmett confiding in the boys his mum hasn't been replying to his text messages.
- Bea not happy to hear her sister is moving away to Switzerland.
- Elly saying her goodbyes.
- Bea punching a guy who was hassling her.
Despite Elly leaving last week, there is no change to the titles yet.
Bea is justifying her actions to Levi, but he warns her that the guy could press charges and she will be in serious trouble. "Okay constable," she sarcastically replies back to his warning and he does his best to reassure her that he is on her side... otherwise he would already have arrested her.
Number 28 (next day)
Toadie is somewhat jealous of Bea living alone and hearing that the K's are back off on their travels too when he calls by to check up on her (Elly's orders!). Initially she tries to say all is fine before finally admitting that she'd a rough night but is feeling better today, so nobody needs to worry about her, although does promise to call her sister ASAP! Before he leaves, Toadie says that he is there for her if she needs him.
Emmett isn't at all keen on going back to school now the holidays are over, no matter how much Aaron and David chivvy him up. They also suggest that if Louis gives him any trouble, he's to say that they made him dob (Louis in).
When Emmett heads inside to clean his teeth, Aaron thinks the lad would be coping better if he knew where his mum was.
Harlow calls round because Mackenzie is after a favour - for them to buddy up to do a sustainability study since she is housebound while she recuperates. She readily agrees to her friends request and the pair start planning.

Emmett doesn't look too enthralled at Aaron accompanying him to school, but he wants a word with the teachers, beginning with Marty.
Marty reports that the staff have already been informed about the classroom damage, but Aaron explains that it was Louis who was behind it and so asks that the boys are kept apart. He agrees to pass the word around they've to be kept apart and is pleased to hear the lad has been working hard on his studies during the holidays. Aaron mentions that Emmett has some confidence issues, and Marty reassures him that the school will support him including a quick quiz to see how he has progressed before re- joining his class.
"You're hired to perform to the patrons Bea, not assault them," Terese points out to Bea after hearing what happened last night. She continues giving Bea a serve... and then delivers the bad news that her contract has been terminated. "What?!" Bea protests but Terese explains that "the company has a zero- tolerance policy towards violent behaviour."
There is somewhat good news for her though - Levi confirms nobody has come forward to report her, so she is (still) in the clear. "That's something," she replies and now wants everyone to "move on." Levi isn't sure she is ready to do that - she has some serious anger issues that won't "disappear overnight." "You think I'm going to do it again?" she asks, and he confirms he does... "and maybe next time you'll seriously hurt them" or they could "lash back and hurt you." She explains to him why she lost it (Elly moving overseas maybe permanently) and thus its "one more thing that Finn has destroyed."
Toadie is after some advice from Dipi on what pressie to get Sky and Lana for their (real) wedding. She isn't too impressed to hear he is also going to miss this wedding and persuades him to go for the weekend while she (and Shane) can look after the kids. While she is sure the kids will be fine without dad for a weekend, she suggests that it might be good for them all to get a post- Dee break to allow the to properly catch up with friends and family, something that Toadie seems to be thinking it might be a good idea.

Marty finds Emmett not in the library but outside in the playground. The lad claims to have done the quiz and wants to leave, but on checking it, turns out he's done nothing. Marty is annoyed the lad hasn't even "had a crack" at it.
EMMETT: If I don't know the answers, why waste my time.
Marty was hoping for a fresh start this semester and isn't pleased at the "negative attitude" from Emmett. "I have been trying," Emmett protests but the evidence would suggest otherwise. Emmett then gets up and walks away from the teacher, despite being ordered to return. "You're going to get written up," Marty yells to him... and Emmett's reaction is to kick over one of the bins and to yell "stuff you" at Marty!
Bea doesn't look impressed her peace and quiet has been shattered after Levi joins her. He thinks she needs someone to help support her as she deals with her issues, especially with Elly leaving. "I didn't realise how much I relied on Elly to get me through all that's happened," she admits and thought she'd dealt with her anger issues, but it has resurfaced what with Elly leaving and having "an empty house."
LEVI: I can't imagine the hell you've been through. All I know is that the pain and anger, you need to find a way to deal with it.
"And how do you suggest I do that?" she asks, and his reply is she finds something "to channel it into, something useful."

Emmett is hiding underneath the stairs when he gets a call from an unknown caller - whoever it is, the lad knows him and seems very happy to have received the call.
David is around to talk to Mackenzie about the sustainability project - while in hospital Mackenzie seemed alarmed at the high volume of things thrown away and thus suggested it to Harlow for their project. He tries to explain to her that they've to throw a lot of things away for health and safety reasons but does suggest another angle they could work on as the hospital is trying to reduce its carbon footprint. She isn't too keen on that, so David suggests looking at the practices of a supermarket or café. Harold's is put forward as an example, but Shane is quick to get in that they already have good sustainability practices and thus might not be a good candidate.
This time it is Bea seeking Levi out instead of it being the other way around! She admits she does have anger issues but wants to learn how to use controlled aggression should she actually need to genuinely use it. While amused at her suggestion, he is fully behind it though and offers to get an expert to train her properly.
Toadie comes home in a determined mood and announces that he is going to go north for Lana and Sky's wedding, He plans also on taking the kids with him, where they will then go on an extended holiday afterwards for a couple of weeks with Harold (on a fishing trip). Toadie even manages to rope Dipi and Shane into agreeing to help out with a Christmas in July event for the buddy club that he now can't undertake. Dipi's 'payment' for helping out is some mini bottles of toiletries which has a huge smile on Mackenzie's face... she's got a new idea now for her sustainability project.
Despite it being in the middle of winter, Aaron and David are sunbathing by the pool! The pair are enjoying the peace and quiet, but it is shattered though with a call from the school and a summons to go there.
Number 30/Terese's office
By chance, Terese happens to be with Harlow when Mackenzie calls. Terese has been told about their project and is fully on board with it, and thus invites Mackenzie to the hotel to help work out how Lassiters can reduce its waste.
While Mackenzie continues to chat with Harlow and Terese, Dipi suggests to Shane that he has a break from studying to head to Harold's with her, but he wants to keep studying.

Aaron and David arrive at the school looking for Emmett and their meeting with the Vice Principal. They texted him to say meet outside but as there is no sign of the lad, Aaron heads inside to see if he is still there.
David is the one who spots him, in the upper playground, but notices there is someone talking to Emmett and asks who it is. "Is this one of the gay guys," the unknown person says as David approaches them. Not reacting, David ignores the comment and instead replies back that actually, he is "one of his guardians" before reminding Emmett of why he is at the school.
EMMETT: I was just coming, but this is important. This is my brother, Brent.
