Erinsborough Hospital
Terese is still gobsmacked by Gary's suggestion that they could get back together.
GARY: You think it's nuts, don't you?
TERESE: No. No, not at all. It's just unexpected. After what I did, I don't deserve it.
GARY: I don't want you rushing to answer me when you're stressed. So I'll give you more time.
TERESE: It doesn't seem fair on you!
GARY: The fact you came to my bedside to see me fills me with hope. And I'm just happy to hold onto that for a while.
He holds her hand. Terese says she's confused, just as Sheila and Xanthe barge in to see Gary.
SHEILA: What have you done to yourself, you great twit?!

Terese leaves them to it, Sheila loudly remarking that Terese 'has a hide' as she leaves.
In another ward, Hamish is expositing to a still-comatose Louise. He has his hand on hers, which is the only thing preventing him from using it to twirl his moustache instead.
HAMISH: I'm sorry, Louise, for what I did. You're a lovely woman, but I couldn't trust you to keep quiet. I never would've found Tyler without you. Thanks for that. Sleep tight - until we're gone.
But as he leaves the ward, we go close up on Louise's eyes which, while still closed, appear to be moving.
Harold's Café
Mark is with Fay, who seems disappointed that Tyler and Piper have broken up, given how committed they were. Mark tells Fay that they need to find out more about Hamish's connection to Louise. Mark's not allowed near him, but since Fay has history with Hamish, he suggests she do some digging with him instead.
FAY: You think he may have hurt her?
MARK: Well, at this stage I think anything's possible.
Meanwhile, Karl and Ben are having an awkward meal, as Karl continues to hold the durian prank against Ben. As Karl gets up to pay the bill, Yashvi joins Ben and says it must suck being punished for her crimes. Ben's philosophical about it - he's missing his friends while being grounded, but at least it's forcing him to study for his exams.
Yashvi promises she'll make it up to Ben, despite him saying she doesn't have to. He tells her not to go overboard. Ben gets a text from Xanthe saying that Gary's okay and congratulating Ben on doing well in his chemistry exam. Yashvi asks Ben if he misses being with Xanthe.

BEN: Why?
YASHVI: I'm just wondering.
BEN: Yeah. I guess I miss how she always believed in me. That's a bit too awkward to talk about. Sorry.
YASHVI: I understand.
Yashvi has her scheming Cupid face on.
Paul's Penthouse
Leo and Paul are on the balcony. Leo thinks that the fact Terese came to see Paul straight after what happened at the wedding suggests she still likes him - and that she only made up the story about warning them their secret was out because Courtney was there. But Paul isn't convinced.
LEO: You told me how much you want to find love. Why would you punish Terese when you have a chance at living a life with her?
PAUL: ...
Lassiter's Complex
Food trucks are being set up by the park for the Guy Fawkes Gala.
The Waterhole
Sheila is disbelieving as Hamish tells her that Piper has been cheating on Tyler. Courtney appears, and announces to Sheila that she only wants the hottest bar staff on duty tonight for the gala.
SHEILA: But that is discrimination, and it's shallow! I cannot condone it!
COURTNEY: Don't worry - you won't have to work!
SHEILA: What?!
COURTNEY: Sorry, that came out wrong. Can't chat - got calls to make!
Fay comes in to meet Hamish, having asked to meet him - and Sheila watches with concern from a distance as they talk.
FAY: I hear that you've met our son.
HAMISH: I have. I only wish it had been years earlier.
FAY: I'm sorry I kept him from you. And an apology hardly seems adequate. But...
HAMISH: They were different times.
FAY: They were.
Hamish suggests they have a drink, and Fay agrees.
FAY: I'd love to hear what you've been up to.
Sheila looks annoyed at the old flames' reunion...
No 30
Terese has come to see Sonya, to seek her advice about whether to give things with Gary another shot - explaining that he said he was willing to forgive her.
TERESE: I've just got all these mixed feelings, and I don't know where they're coming from. I don't know what to do.
SONYA: Is it about Paul?
TERESE: Oh, god - no, no. No, when I ran to him after the wedding, I didn't know what I wanted. But then I saw him there with Courtney, and I realised that I'd made a terrible mistake by leaving Gary.
SONYA: Well, it doesn't sound like you're confused at all.
TERESE: No, I'm not by that. It's just - if I'm so sure that Gary's the right man for me, then why am I finding it so hard to give him an answer?
Sonya says that, having been on the other side of the fence, it's probably the guilt that is bothering Terese - as it did with Toadie after he cheated on Sonya.
SONYA: It's just, it's corrosive, yeah? And if you've got that inside you, then maybe it's stopping you from allowing yourself to be truly happy.
TERESE: Yeah. Yeah, because I hate myself for breaking Gary's heart. I just - I dunno. If I was him, I wouldn't forgive me.
SONYA: Well, but see - that's it. I mean, Jarrod and I would not have been able to work things out if he didn't feel like he deserved our relationship. And I suspect that's what's going on for you and Gary too.
TERESE: Yeah. I have to learn to forgive myself.
The Waterhole
Sheila continues to eye Hamish and Fay with suspicion from a distance, as they reminisce about their fling together at Memory Cove.
HAMISH: It was a special time, wasn't it?
FAY: It feels like aeons ago.
Hamish asks if Fay ever remarried after Russell; she says she's been single ever since.
HAMISH: That's a waste.
FAY: And you?
HAMISH: No involvement.
FAY: Oh, that's funny. I thought someone said that you had a girlfriend here? A nurse, who's sick or something?
HAMISH: Did Mark tell you that?
FAY: Oh, Mark, or... someone...
Hamish says that Louise was just nice to him when he was in hospital, being sure to drop in a reference to Mark being the one who put him there! Hamish says that since Louise has been in a coma, he's checked in on her a couple of times at the hospital. Hamish goes to get them another coffee, and Fay looks suspicious.
When Hamish gets to the bar, Sheila announces that she wants to talk to him about her plans.
SHEILA: I'm taking some time off, and I was wondering if I should come to Queensland with you?
HAMISH: Well, Tyler and I were planning to make our way up there by boat.
SHEILA: Oh, sounds perfect! And the good news is that I've spoken to Tyler about our relationship. And he's very supportive, and he wouldn't have an issue with it!
Hamish continues to try to find reasons as to why it wouldn't be practical, but Sheila brushes them off. He says they're leaving tomorrow, and that he's sure it's too short notice for her.
SHEILA: Oh, no, no, no. I can make that work! In fact, I should be at home packing. But you should come over when you've finished with *that* (she motions to Fay), and we can celebrate!
Hamish smiles, but looks worried as Sheila walks off.
Harold's Café
Xanthe is picking up some cake for Gary. Yashvi asks her if she's going to the gala and fireworks tonight, and Xanthe confirms she is. Yashvi has to stay at home to look after Kirsha, she explains, but suggests that the fireworks 'could be romantic' for Xanthe. Xanthe doesn't take the bait - just the cake. But as she leaves, she passes Ben, and they smile at each other lingeringly.
Ben is here with Karl, who is still guilt-tripping him about the durian prank. Karl confirms that Ben will be missing out on the fireworks tonight because he's grounded, despite Yashvi's attempts to get Karl to grant Ben an exemption.
KARL: He'll be able to hear them.
YASHVI: But it's nothing like being near them. It's incredible. It's like your heart's going to burst. That's really the only way to see fireworks.
KARL: He can use his imagination.
The Waterhole
Fay and Hamish are now discussing Tyler and Piper's break-up, during which Hamish admits that he and Tyler are leaving tomorrow morning on the boat - just as Mark comes in and overhears it.
Mark and Fay are upset that Hamish is going away with Tyler away before he gets a chance to see Fay, but Hamish simply bids Fay goodbye, saying it's been a pleasure. Mark and Hamish exchange a hostile stare as Hamish leaves.
No 26
In the garden, Amy is on the phone to Jimmy, who is away at camp for four days. Sheila reveals she's going on a boat trip with Hamish tomorrow, and Amy is instantly concerned, saying that Mark is investigating him.
SHEILA: I'm well aware that Mark has been hounding him! And even the police have asked Mark to pull his head in.
AMY: I don't know if I'm meant to say anything. But it's possible Hamish sabotaged the wellness centre.
SHEILA: Oh, please. Don't be ridiculous.
AMY: Well, I hope you'll be careful.
SHEILA: You are just made at him because he held back that donation. And he had good reason. And I'm sick of you being down on my happiness just because you're miserable!

Sheila storms off.
The Waterhole
Fay and Mark are discussing what she managed to glean from probing Hamish, which wasn't much. Fay remarks that Hamish does seem fond of Tyler, and wonders if he really has done all the awful things Mark thinks. Mark says they can't let him leave with Tyler tomorrow. Fay suggests Aaron could call from Paris and say he wanted to use the boat, but Mark says Tyler would see through it.
Fay says she's texted Tyler and asked to meet him, so hopefully she can get through to him then. In the meantime, she's going to catch up with David for lunch. As she leaves, Toadie arrives, and Mark asks him for some lawyerly advice. He wants to get around Hamish's harassment claim against him, as he's sure there's something around Hamish and Louise that doesn't add up.
MARK: Why would anyone in her condition go out without their epipen, let alone a nurse?
Toadie admits he found an epipen when he was dredging the lake for his love-lock the other day, but that he put it in the sharps bin. Mark is now even more suspicious.
No 30
Toadie comes in, and finds that Yashvi is visiting Nell, as she's missed her since Toadie has moved back home. Sonya takes Nell to wash her hands before dinner, and Yashvi suggests they could put on a private fireworks show in the street, so that younger kids like Kirsha and Nell won't miss out (given that the official event starts much later on).
Toadie reminds Yashvi that she's not supposed to muck around with fireworks anymore, but Yashvi suggests they could organise the display using the fireworks he confiscated from her a few months ago. Toadie tells her they're off-limits, from which Yashvi surmises that he hasn't got rid of them yet! Yashvi claims she knows where Toadie stashed them, so shortly afterwards...
Ramsay Street
We see Toadie sneaking the confiscated fireworks out of No 32, and hiding them in the back of Sonya's nursery ute. However, he's unaware that Yashvi is watching from nearby, and now knows exactly where the fireworks are...
No 26
Sheila is setting up the spa for a romantic evening with Hamish, and tells Amy to make sure Gary keep his pigeons from pooing on her gnomes while she's away. Amy again queries whether Sheila should be going away with Hamish, but Sheila's insistent - and at that moment, Hamish arrives, with a bunch of flowers and a new gnome for her as a present! Sheila bustles off to find a vase.
AMY: You're not ever planning on giving us that $500,000 donation, are you?
HAMISH: ...
AMY: And it was you who organised planting the drugs, wasn't it?
HAMISH: ... You've been spending too much time with Mark.
AMY: He's right about you, you know. And we're gonna prove it. We are so much closer than you think.
Hamish turns nasty.
HAMISH: You don't know what you're talking about. You're just a useless little chippie trying to set up a useless little organisation. Wellness centre!
Sheila calls from inside, and Hamish stalks off, leaving Amy looking worried. Seeing that he's left his jacket on the deckchair, Amy take out his wallet and searches through it. We briefly see a security pass labelled 'Affirmacon' in the wallet. Not having found anything she deems suspicious, Amy replaces the wallet - but doesn't notice that a credit card has dropped out onto the grass.
We see a close-up of the credit card on the floor. It's in the name of Ms Louise McLeod.
The Waterhole
Terese is pleased to see that Gary is out of hospital and back to his old self. He offers to help at the gala tonight; Terese thinks he should be resting, but Gary also wanted to continue their discussion about possibly getting back together. Terese says she's been too busy with the gala to give it time, so suggests they talk about it tomorrow.
GARY: If you've decided that it's too difficult, then I can take it.
TERESE: No, no, I haven't - I promise. But we really need to spend some time to think about this. It's too important not to.
They hug, just as Paul comes in. He grimaces as he sees them.
Paul's Penthouse
Leo asks if Paul talked to Terese, but he says he saw her with Gary, and decided he's not going to since they were looking 'pretty intimate'. Amy comes in, announcing that Hamish has no intention of donating to the wellness centre, and that he didn't deny planting the drugs either. Amy says she's also worried about Sheila, who's falling in love with Hamish.
AMY: He just gets under my skin.
Paul suggests that Amy could have a one or two-day getaway of her own while Jimmy's away at camp. Leo agrees it's a good idea.
No 26
In the garden, Hamish kisses Sheila, who's in her dressing gown, and leaves. She stands there with a rose that he presumably gave to her, looking lovestruck. But then she notices the credit card lying on the grass, and is surprised to see Louise's name on it...
Erinsborough Hospital
Fay arrives to meet David for lunch; Karl tells her David's Not In This Episodetm. But as Fay looks through the window into the ward, she sees Louise lying there, and immediately recognises her.
FAY: I know her!
KARL: Really? We're trying to trace her family.
FAY: She was Russell's nurse in Port Lincoln!
KARL: Are you absolutely sure?
FAY: I'm certain - I saw her there. And they told me that she was with him when he died.
We cut to Louise lying in the bed. Her eyes open suddenly.
No 24
Mark is texting Aaron, asking if he's heard from the mystery Paris lady yet and asking Aaron to call him. Mark notices the picture of the three brothers on the sideboard, next to the model of the boat, and looks pensive. He texts Aaron again, saying, 'she's our only lead. We have to stop Ty from leaving.'
Erinsborough Hospital
Karl is examining a confused-looking Louise, as Fay watches from the door.
KARL: Can you tell me your name?
LOUISE: Louise. Louise McLeod.
KARL: Good. And do you know what year it is?
LOUISE: Hamish...
KARL: Hamish? Do you mean Hamish Roche?
LOUISE: He hurt me! Russell... The will... What we did to Russell...
Fay has come in, having heard all this.
FAY: What did you do to Russell? What about the will?
KARL: You shouldn't be in here.
FAY: She's trying to tell us something.
KARL: Yeah, but people say all sorts of things when they're coming out of a coma.
A nurse leads Fay out.
FAY: I'm calling Mark!
Louise starts to cry, as Karl tells her to stay calm...
