The Garage
Josh shouts for help as he's trapped between the two cars. Mark rushes to his aid and pushes the car off him. Josh gets up and grabs his shoulder in pain.

Erinsborough Hospital
Chris and Nate are with Georgia after Chris's appointment, apparently Chris's speech therapist says he is improving. As Chris and Nate walk out, they see Josh and Mark arrive. Josh plays down the injury to Georgia, and claims he came off his skateboard. Georgia goes to get a doctor. Mark says the skateboarding story won't work, the doctors need to know how he got his injury, but Josh doesn't want anyone to find out that he's been helping out at the garage, especially not Chris. Josh claims Mark's insurance will cover him (don't know how Josh thinks that's even possible) and insists that they say this was a skateboarding accident.

Number 22
Terese is astounded at the cost of Josh's Enzyme Report. Brad doesn't care about the cost as it's vital for his defence. Terese is worried how they're going to pay all these bills - what if Chris sues Josh for damages? They have to be prepared for anything. Brad suggests he run more yoga classes over the school holidays. Brad gets a phone call from Mark.

Number 32
Bailey, Alice and Paige are messing around in the kitchen, baking, aka throwing chocolates while Paige tries to catch them in her mouth. Amber is struggling to study and tells them to quiet down, but gets angry when they don't. Paige suggests she goes to her room or the library and they'll bring some cake through when they're done.

AMBER: Look if it's made out of the stuff you've been dropping on the floor, no thank you.
BAILEY: Why don't you just relax, it's not like you need top marks to be a photographer.
AMBER: Sorry? Why is that? Because all photographers are dumb?
BAILEY: No, no, no, I'm just saying your career doesn't depend on these exams.
AMBER: Yeah, so what's your advice, just don't bother? Great!

Amber walks out with her books, leaving Bailey speechless.

Erinsborough Hospital
Georgia tells Josh, Brad and Terese that the doctor's done an MRI but there is no serious damage to the shoulder other than some bruising. She's surprised that Josh doesn't have any lacerations on her arm as most people put their hands out when they break their fall. He claims he fell on some grass, next to the wall that he said he hit earlier. Terese says he promised that he was past this phase, Josh apologises, it was a one off and it won't happen again.

Number 32
Lauren asks what has happened in the kitchen, Bailey defensively blames Paige, she jokes that he didn't tell her to stop. Alice offers to clean up, while Lauren tastes the cake mix, it actually tastes very good, it tastes like her mother's jaffa cake. That is what they're making and Bailey shows the recipe they've been following from their Gran's cookbook. Lauren puts her arms around them and kisses them both, saying she loves to pass on all these family recipes, just as Amber walks in. She doesn't look pleased, and tells them she's going to the library as she can't get any studying done here. Lauren calls after her offering a lift but Amber's gone.

PAIGE: I thought you said she wasn't mad.
BAILEY: She's just stressed. People don't eat when they're stressed.

The Waterhole
Lauren tells Matt that Bailey and Alice are still getting along even though he's gutted he lost out to her. Matt says he's coping, but Lauren wonders if there's anything they can do. She worries that every knock back he gets will send him back to drinking. Matt tells her not to worry. Lauren then starts to worry about how Amber's dealing with exam stress. Matt says these are all life lessons, you don't stop taking the knocks, you just dust yourself off and get on with it.

Brad and Terese arrive and see Matt and Lauren sharing ice cream. Terese is obviously irritated to see them happy together. After they order takeaway, Brad puts his arm around Terese, and she tells him he doesn't have to do that. She leaves to get Josh a healthy juice.

Number 26
Chris and Nate are throwing and catching a football when Mark arrives and joins in. Mark says Danni wants him to sign a leave of absence form. Chris asks what Mark was doing with Josh at the hospital. Mark says Josh was skateboarding outside the garage when he was hurt. Nate calls it karma.

MARK: He was in a fair bit of pain.
CHRIS: Do you expect us to feel sorry for him?
MARK: No, I just don't expect you to gloat about it. Look, Josh wasn't skateboarding okay. He was trying to give you a hand by working at the garage until a car rolled on him. Does that make you feel any better about it?

Mark leaves, while Chris is shocked.

Ramsay Street
Mark asks Paige, Bailey and Alice what they're up to. Paige has to go to work, and Bailey and Alice are going to get some chocolate chips as cake 1.0 was a failure so they're rebooting the experiment. Mark asks how her hand is and is pleased to hear it's getting better. Mark leaves. Bailey and Alice say Mark is still interested in Paige, but Paige denies it. Bailey and Alice say they had to study human psychology for Space Camp and go on about Mark's behaviour and body language around Paige.

ALICE: Full frontal body position.
PAIGE: He was just standing there Alice!
ALICE: Lips slightly parted.
PAIGE: Yes, because he was talking!
BAILEY: His pupils were dilated.
PAIGE: What? Because his eyes were open! You guys are nuts!
BAILEY: Should we tell Amber that we've left the building so she can get some study time?
PAIGE: And give her the message that it's okay to be a total grump-face? I don't think so.
ALICE: She's right. Negative reinforcement. Psychology 101.

Lassiters Complex
Lauren clears some tables outside Harold's when Amber comes along. There were no cubicles free at the Library, and she starts moaning about Paige.

AMBER: I'm sick of Paige telling me when and where I can study. And what's with her Alice and Bailey following each other around like some happy little gang, it's like some weird six-legged monster.

Amber apologises for whinging, but she needed to get it out. She just dislikes how since Paige moved in she took over. Lauren says it'll be hard, she's been out of the loop living with Daniel but she isn't being replaced. She says they love her and they were thrilled when she moved home. Amber feels like she's always missing in-jokes. Amber says Paige is family now, she gets it, but she used to be Lauren's only little girl and now she isn't. She knows it's stupid but she liked it when it was just the two of them against the boys. Lauren says Amber will always be her little girl and nothing will ever change that. As Lauren gets back to work, Amber says she's going to go home. She gets a phone call from Chris.

Number 26
Chris says Amber knew about Josh working at the garage. Chris wonders why he did it, did Josh expect that Chris would be grateful? Nate says Josh was probably feeling as guilty as hell and he's trying to do something about it. He doesn't agree with what Josh did, but he understands.

NATE: Good people do bad things, and not all of us get the chance to make up for them.
CHRIS: I don't want Josh making up for anything. I owe him nothing.
NATE: I don't think he's looking for anything from you. I just think he's trying to find a way to live with what he's done.

Sonya's Nursery
Terese finds Matt buying flowers for Lauren. She asks what the point is, didn't he read Lauren's diary? She knows she shouldn't have snooped but at least she knows the truth now. Matt says she doesn't know the truth, he read that Lauren would never trade what she has for Brad as she knows they weren't and aren't right for each other. Matt says he shouldn't have read the diary but he's glad he did because he knows the truth. Brad and Lauren aren't in love, and things are good between Matt and Lauren just now. He says Terese's problems are hers to deal with, she should be happy as it puts an end to all that doubt and insecurity for both of them. Matt picks the flowers and leaves.

Harold's
Paige brings Josh a free coffee, and asks about his shoulder. Paige sees Bailey and Alice and asks how cake 2.0 is going. Bailey and Alice are both busy and say it is for Paige to make, Bailey suggests she make it for Amber, but Paige refuses after what Amber said to her earlier. Paige leaves it to Bailey to make it. As Paige goes back to work, Alice tells Bailey he has to smooth things over between his sisters. Alice leaves, and Bailey goes over to Paige and explains that Amber shoots her mouth off without thinking about it.

PAIGE: I'm just not used to this whole having a sister thing. I grew up with a brother, and if I had a problem with Ethan I'd thump him and problem solved.
BAILEY: That would not work with Amber. You just need to treat her like you would any other woman in your life, your friends for example.
PAIGE: The only other girls I knew who were like her were at boarding school and I thumped most of them too, which is why I got expelled but that's a completely different story.

Bailey suggests they find something they have in common, like the arts. Paige doesn't think so. He suggests sports, as Amber used to ride horses in Mount Isa all the time. Paige still doesn't think it'll work. Bailey tells her not to give up on Amber, she's her sister and she can't leave it like this.

As Bailey leaves, Nate arrives and tells Josh he knows what happened at the garage. Josh says he knows he stuffed up and he just wants to help. Nate knows that, but he's not helping. He says he's trying to undo the punch and make himself feel better and that just makes Chris uncomfortable. Nate tells him to stop, suck it up and live with it. He should keep his distance for Chris's sake. Josh agrees.

Number 22
Brad is marking at home when Terese comes in. Brad's called some coaching colleges and they're happy for him to do tutoring work over the holidays. He says they have to do whatever is best for them financially and it's lucky she talked him into getting that teaching degree. Terese angrily asks what that means, is it a dig? Brad says he was being genuine, and walks away. Terese takes her phone out and calls Susan, asking to talk.

Number 32
Amber apologises to Josh for confirming to Chris that he was working at the garage. Josh realises Nate is right, he thought the food parcels and the money were helping Chris but maybe it was just to make himself feel better. Josh says it has to stop, there's still money in the fund but it's up to Amber to decide how to use it, he's out. Josh has to think of a way to deal with what he did, and he can't use Chris to deal with it. Amber asks if he has any tips on facing up to his mistakes, as she was harsh to Paige earlier and she's not proud of it. Josh tells her not to avoid her. Paige is her sister so they should sort it out.

Number 32 Back Yard
Paige is practising boxing techniques when Amber offers to help by holding the pads for her. Paige talks Amber through what to do, after a few punches, Paige thumps Amber in the face. Paige apologises while Amber holds her eye in pain.

Unmissable Drama
- Paige swears the punch was an accident, but Amber thinks Paige did it on purpose.
- Amber says she hates Paige. Brad and Lauren tell Paige it'll blow over.
- Daniel introduces Paul to his ex- girlfriend Rain.
