Garage
Imogen is shocked to discover that Amber and Daniel have been engaged since the night of the storm, and that *she* had helped Daniel pick the engagement ring.

IMOGEN: I didn't know it was the engagement ring.
DANIEL: That doesn't matter. You were part of the moment, and that means something.
AMBER: It means everything.

Amber says it's perfect, and invites Imogen to be her maid of honour. Imogen says yes - they don't notice her hesitation - and they have a group hug.

Waterhole
Imogen has told Naomi, who promises to keep the secret. She comments that Imogen must be heartbroken.

IMOGEN: Try 'broken, ripped out and stomped on'.
NAOMI: Mmm, I have been there, sister.

They discuss how it's not a good idea (too young, keeping it from the Turners etc).

NAOMI: OK, it's official. We are in Crazytown.

Imogen says she should have told Amber it was crazy, but she just went along with it. Naomi asks if she's willing to say what she thinks. Imogen points out she could be doing it for selfish reasons. Naomi says it doesn't matter: Amber's making a mistake and needs to be told.

NAOMI: Think of it as killing two birds with one stone.

Paul's apartment
Daniel and Amber talk about how pleased they are that Imogen took the news well. He says maybe her parents will be pleased too, and points out they have to tell them soon. (I've heard something like this line before.) Amber says she'll tell them soon. (Ditto) She's going to wear the ring on a chain around her neck. They decide to celebrate and start pashing.

No 28
Karl tells Susan that Nate stayed over at Chris's and she comments that he's settled down, although she's still keeping an eye on him. Karl walks over and trips over a box containing a plaque and certificates from the council to award to pupils for the clean-up after the storm. Lou arrives with some muffins and says he'll never forget what she did.

LOU: Your wish is my command. So... command me.

School
Susan has asked Bailey to do a speech for the presentation of the certificates, and he begs her to pick someone else. He eventually agrees when she offers to help with his interview preparation. Susan gets a call saying that the presentation has been moved to a couple of hours time and the stuff Bailey needs is "at home".

No 30
Georgia, Chris and Nate are sorting stuff for the bucks' / hen nights and she mentions Lucy. Chris is a bit awkward, and Georgia tells Nate she's Paul's sister, but she's a big softie.

NATE: Just like you, eh, teddy?

Harold's
Georgia challenges Chris as to whether he's told Nate about "Lucy and the baby thing". Chris says he hasn't made up his mind yet, and asks how she knew he was thinking about it. She says he was tense. He wonders aloud if Nate noticed. She says Nate is hard to read. Chris says he's getting better.

GEORGIA: And he obviously likes you, teddy.

She can see the feeling's mutual and suggests he should tell Nate about Lucy.

Imogen joins Amber and asks when she's going to tell her parents. She says soon... ish, and she hopes they'll understand, just like Imogen has. Then they can all come and visit them on the coast, because Daniel wants to move there.

AMBER: He makes his own path. And now we're making one together.
IMOGEN: And what planet is that path on?

Amber says she should have realised that Imogen would never forgive her for hurting Josh. Imogen insists it's not about that, but that Amber's still at school.

AMBER: Just because marriage doesn't fit into the five year Willis super strategy, doesn't mean it's not a good idea.

School / Harold's
Susan calls Lou and asks him to pick up a box from her bedroom. He ends the call before getting all the details.

Harold's
Daniel finds Imogen and tells her that Amber is upset. She says she didn't mean to upset her, but she had to do what she thought was best. He challenges her as to how she knows this isn't the best thing. She asks how many 18 year olds marry.

DANIEL: My parents married young, and so did Amber's.
IMOGEN: Yeah, because Matt and Lauren are doing so well right now.
DANIEL: Alright, just because they're going through a rough patch now doesn't mean their marriage was the wrong thing to do. I know Amber and I are ready. I can just feel it.
IMOGEN: I think it's a mistake.

He tells her that he had a connection with Amber the first time they met. He hopes that she meets someone so that she understands how important it is. She's emotional and leaves.

School
Amber is just saying that Imogen is wasting her time trying to convince her it's a mistake, but Imogen says she's sorry. She says she'll support both her and Daniel, because Daniel loves her so much and they don't fight like she and Josh did. Amber realises that Daniel spoke to her and comments that her fiancé is amazing. Imogen agrees he's pretty amazing.

No 28
Chris asks Nate if he's coming to the wedding and Nate says he'll come as Chris's date. Chris explains that he and Lucy got to know each other pretty well when she was around last time and she asked him to be the father of her baby, and how he wants to tell Nate now because things are going well. Chris asks Nate what he thinks, and he says it's Chris's life. Meanwhile, Lou has been and gone out carrying a blue box.

Harold's
Chris tells Nate he's confused by his lack of reaction to what he said about Lucy. He wants Nate to say what he thinks. Nate says he hasn't even thought about kids yet, and the idea freaks him out. Besides Chris hasn't made his decision, so they should deal with it then. He says he likes Chris a lot; Chris is happy with that and they kiss.

Imogen tells Naomi she's not happy that she's having to lie about supporting the wedding.

NAOMI: The chances of this wedding going ahead are smaller than Prince William dumping Kate and hooking up with me instead.

Naomi says there are worse things than bending the truth for the sake of friendship. Imogen asks if that includes having a thing for her fiancé. Naomi hugs her sympathetically.

Community Centre
Lou rolls up in a taxi and hands the blue box over to Bailey, who's doubtful about it.

BAILEY: Sorry, it doesn't look very official.
LOU: Oh. Budget cuts, who knows?

No 28
Georgia comes round to see Karl, who didn't get her message because his phone was on silent. She tells him that the investigation found that there was no negligence on Ms Girdwood's behalf. However, she is disrespectful to nurses, which explains Nurse Kriptic's attitude. Georgia apologises to Karl for being angry at him and thanks him for his concern. She leaves and he checks his phone, and sees there's a missed call from Susan.

Ramsay Street
Lou arrives back in the taxi, just as Karl is leaving with the Council box with the certificates. Karl says he's got to get the box to Susan, and Lou comments that he wishes he'd known there was another one... Karl asks about the "other box". Lou explains he's already picked up one box from their bedroom: a blue box, tucked under the bed. Karl tells him it was their "personal box". Lou offers to drop off the right one, but a panic-stricken Karl says he's going anyway. He calls Susan.

KARL: Yeah, look, Susan, it's me. You need to get to Bailey. Lou's given him the wrong box. Bailey has the blue box. The... THE blue box.

Community Centre
Bailey is pacing up and down, preparing for the ceremony. Susan gets a call saying there's a problem at the school, and leaves, telling Bailey he'll be fine. Bailey starts the ceremony, telling the pupils he has the awards right there...
