By the History Wall
It's raining, and Kyle is staring at the rosebush that Ajay planted in memory of Priya. Chris stops to talk, suggesting it might help to focus his mind on work.
Dial- a- Kyle
Through BlurryCam™, Kyle sees the rocking horse. He remembers Georgia saying it was beautiful, and coming to say hello to "dad". He leaves.
Kirk asks Josh how he's going, and Josh tells him it was a one- off. Kirk doubts it.
KIRK: They're in your system. And when you crash - and you will - it'll hit you like a freight train.
Josh says he's better than that, and besides he has a medical in three weeks. Amber and Imogen arrive. Josh has a special date planned, which impresses Amber.
JOSH: Yep. I've been a bit of a tool lately, so...
IMOGEN: There's an understatement.
Imogen leaves and Josh and Amber kiss.
Bailey is worried about his date with Josie, as he has no money and can't think of anything to compare with her previous boyfriend. Callum points out they have a bigger problem: their girlfriends aren't friends. He suggests a double date, which Bailey agrees to.
CALLUM: Trust me, I know girls. They'll be putty in our hands.
Outside the Antique Shop
Patricia surreptitiously drops a watch into her bag, just as Sonya is walking along. Patricia turns to go the other, but Sonya calls her back to ask her how she feels about Hudson.
PATRICIA: My son's got a boyfriend in jail for manslaughter. How would you feel?
Sonya says she'd be worried, but challenges Patricia about not telling her family about her addiction. She's waiting until her husband is back from Greece. Sonya advises her not to wait.
The two Josies didn't realise it was a double date, and the boys talk it up, saying it would be good to be friends.
"HOT" JOSIE M: (doubtfully) That sounds nice.
JOSIE L: Don't worry. We can always go back to blanking each other at school.
Callum suggests swimming, but the girls haven't brought bathers and aren't keen on his suggestion of getting around it. Bailey has a dance game. Josie M is enthusiastic, and the two girls dance away.
Outside the antique shop
Reg, the owner, is reporting the theft of a watch to Matt. He gives a description of the woman, and goes to sort out the CCTV footage. Matt bumps into Chris, and asks him if he saw anyone acting suspiciously, but Chris says he's been at TAFE all morning.
No 32 - garden
Josh and Amber are kissing. When she says she's cold, he gives her his jacket (after she asks). When he moves, his shoulder hurts, and she suggests he should ease up on training. He says he can't give up now. She replies that she doesn't want to miss out on a trip to Glasgow.
AMBER: The parties, the medal ceremonies. I have already picked my wardrobe.
JOSH: Is that all I am to you? A ticket to Glasgow?
He grabs his jacket and says he's going to training.
Amber goes over to see Imogen, who guesses that it's gone wrong with Josh.
AMBER: One minute he's happy, and the next it's like I'm dating Jekyll and Hyde.
Imogen says that Josh is finding it hard not to be in control of his life. Amber says it doesn't give him the right to treat her like dirt.
Sonya opens the GA meeting, then spots Patricia by the door. She goes over, and Patricia tells her that she's been gambling again. Sonya invites her into the meeting.
Toadie opens the door to Kyle and a rosebush. He tells Toadie that it was a memorial and he'd thought of having a ceremony. Toadie thinks it's a nice idea, and that it might help him and Georgia.
The girls have finished dancing. Bailey is happy to have a go, but Callum's not keen, until his ego gets the better of him. They start dancing, with Bailey getting ahead in the scores and Callum hitting him in the face.
Josh is training when Imogen comes in and challenges Josh about his attitude towards Amber. He says that she's only with him because he's focussed on a goal, which doesn't impress Imogen, and she goes. Josh lifts a weight, and screams in pain. Kirk walks over and Josh tells him he needs more. Kirk quotes what Josh said about being better than that, but Josh just ask again if he can get some.
The boys are still dancing, and the girls are bored. They decide to leave without saying anything. When the boys notice, Callum says it's a bit rude. Bailey wants to go after them, but Callum reckons it's safer to let them calm down, then text.
BAILEY: I guess so. But we totally blew it.
Matt comes in to see if Lauren's OK. She's not in this episode out the back, so he sits down to talk to Toadie. He drops the CCTV picture of Patricia on the table, and even though he's not actually a detective, he spots that Toadie knows her.
Josh is looking at one of his medals. He gets the bottle from Kirk out of his bag, and puts his medal in the bag, before taking some pills.
Patricia is telling the meeting about her recent gambling. Sonya is standing by the door as Patricia explains how it was prompted by her husband being away and finding out why Chris was distant. As everyone claps, Sonya moves, and we see Matt standing outside. As they come out of the meeting, Matt asks her to come with him to the station.
Matt leads Patricia into the station, followed by Sonya, who offers to get Jarrod. Patricia refuses, admitting that she stole. Chris comes in, asking what's happening. Patricia tells him she stole a watch.
PATRICIA: I'm an addict. I gamble.
Matt insists that Patricia has to come with him. Chris accuses Sonya of being a hypocrite when she claims she couldn't tell Chris about his mother because of confidentiality.
CHRIS: Confidentiality didn't matter when you blabbed about Hudson.
He tells she should have said something, and asks her to leave.
