Ramsay Street
Constable McKay calls in the news that Troy is missing. Meanwhile, Toadie is making a statement to Constable Silver, the last he saw of Troy he was unconscious on the floor, he doesn't know how it happened because he wasn't there, but apparently Troy fell. Jade and Sonya look around the street, paranoid, wondering where Troy could be. Const. Silver reminds Toadie there's an intervention order against him and Toadie's going to have to leave Ramsay Street.

Kyle has locked the back door (I don't think that door has ever been locked before), and Bossy is safely in the laundry room.

Number 30
Toadie thanks Lucas for looking after Callum, who's in his room now playing Dragon Prophecies (guess Callum's not in this episode then.) Sonya doesn't want Toadie to leave, but Toadie says that if Troy knows he's there he will come back to make things worse. Toadie suggests she and Callum come to stay with him at Susan's, Sonya says that won't work, she can't leave Jade, so she and Callum are going to stay with Jade and Kyle.

Kyle reassures Jade that everything will be okay.

Number 24
Vanessa wants to bring around food to Sonya and Jade but Lucas says no. Vanessa thinks they need their friends, but Lucas thinks they need their space. Lucas starts to head out, going to look for Troy, Vanessa tells him he shouldn't, quite rightly telling him that he's being an idiot, but he heads out anyway, warning Vanessa to stay away from Jade and Sonya.

Charlie's
Kate hears the news on the phone while chatting to Jade. Rhys asks for a coffee, and asks what's going on. Kate tells him that Troy is missing. Rhys thinks everyone is worrying too much, Troy's probably just all talk. Kate reminds him that she had to bar Troy from Charlie's, Rhys said Troy did back down and was willing to leave, but Kate thinks that was only because he and Paul were there.

RHYS: The guy's fighting to see his biological son, he's got his rights.
KATE: Rhys, it's not that black and white. I don't think Sonya and Toadie stress about this kinda thing for no reason.
RHYS: They're the ones who are making him out to be unhinged
KATE: Because he is unhinged.
RHYS: Yet, Toadie's the one who hit him
KATE: Because Troy provoked him
RHYS: Says Toadie
KATE: You're unbelievable.
RHYS: Why, because I don't automatically take the word of one of my neighbours?

Kate tells him he doesn't know what he's talking about, and she's trying to support her friends. Kate warns Rhys that if he sees Troy, he shouldn't go near him.

Charlie's Exterior
Kate is cleaning tables when she sees Troy stumbling over to the Law Office, he starts pounding on the door calling Ajay's name. Kate calls the police as Troy starts trying to burst through the door. Troy stumbles about and collapses on the ground. Kate calls an ambulance.

Erinsborough Hospital
Troy is rushed to hospital, Karl and Rhys start treating him.

Number 26
Toadie helps Sonya in with her bag. As Toadie shouts to Callum who's in the other room, Jade gets a phonecall from Kate. Jade struggles to hear Kate over Toadie's rude hollering, so she tells him to ssh. She then tells them that they've found Troy.

Erinsborough Hospital
Troy opens his eyes as Rhys asks him some questions.

Number 26
Jade fills them in on the news that Troy's in hospital. Both couples hug.

Erinsborough Hospital
Troy calls Callum's name. Troy tells Rhys that Jade & Sonya attacked him, and then he loses consciousness again.

(Later)

Karl tells Rhys that the scans show severe swelling although there's no sign of a bleed, but the swelling could be masking that. Constable Silver asks if it's possible to speak to Troy, but Karl says it isn't as he's in a medically induced coma. He asks if Troy regained consciousness at all, Karl doesn't know, Rhys says he'll let him know if anything changes.

Number 24
Lucas returns and finds some Tupperware boxes full of food on the counter.

LUCAS: Vanessa! We agreed about this
VANESSA: We didn't agree about anything, we argued. And you're wrong.

Lucas relays the news that Troy's in hospital, and again tells Vanessa that they don't need any food. They argue more about this (seriously, one scene wasn't enough.) Vanessa assures them it's not about sticking their noses in their business it's about being there for them. Kate enters, and says she just got off the phone from Jade. Jade's very upset but Kate's sure they would really appreciate the effort that Vanessa went to.

Today's montage involves Jade and Sonya looking around a lot, thinking about what's going on (I'm sure all of these scenes are spliced from other points of the episode) Sonya puts her arm around Jade (this appears at the end of this episode), while she remembers testifying against Troy in that meeting room.

JADE: I realise now that what happened in that relationship has affected my whole life. That what I went through was not acceptable, not for me and not for any other woman. I'm still dealing with the effects of it today, it has affected my relationships with men and my family ever since.

The montage continues to show clips of Troy sleeping, while Rhys watches, thoughtfully.

They beef up the running time of this episode to show clips from earlier in the episode of Jade hugging Kyle, and Sonya hugging Toadie.

Back to Troy sleeping and Rhys watching, Karl arrives and asks how Troy is doing, Rhys is a little grumpy. He asks Karl if he can take a break, Karl agrees to cover Rhys. Rhys says he'll bring Karl back a coffee.

Number 26
Sonya and Jade are sitting gloomily. Rhys arrives and asks if he can talk to Jade & Sonya privately, so Toadie and Kyle leave to check on Callum. Rhys informs them of Troy's condition, Jade is pleased that he's in hospital and she's not going to feel sorry for him just because he's in there. Rhys asks what happened. Jade says that Troy fell as he tried to stop them escaping, although they didn't see it happen. Jade says she did punch Troy in the stomach. Rhys questions why they were over there.

JADE: Stick this in your report, Troy Miller is a sick psychopath and he deserves everything that he got.
RHYS: The guy's lying in hospital in an induced coma, he doesn't deserve that
JADE: What and I did?
RHYS: What are you talking about?
JADE: After what he did to me, I don't give a stuff about him!
RHYS: What did he do?
JADE: He hit me!

Rhys realises that Troy is Jade's ex-boyfriend.

(Later)

Sonya and Jade are still reeling from the events of the day. Vanessa and Lucas come around with food. Vanessa gives Sonya a hug.

VANESSA: I gotta say though, I've got a few exes I wouldn't mind putting in hospital. I don't mean for real, but seriously though, some of the losers I've been with...

Jade gets up and leaves the room. Sonya goes to check on her, while Lucas stares angrily at Vanessa.

Erinsborough Hospital
Rhys brings Karl another coffee. Karl tells Rhys that they know Troy isn't a saint, but as their patient they have a duty to give him the best possible care. Rhys has to learn to become detached and do what's right. Karl leaves and updates Const. Silver on Troy's status, there's no guarantee Troy will wake up.

Number 26
Lucas asks Sonya if Jade's okay, and apologises for Vanessa. Sonya says Vanessa did the right thing and that her heart was in the right place. The stuff Vanessa said had nothing to do with the way Jade is feeling. They go through to the kitchen where Vanessa apologises if she upset anyone, but Sonya assures them that this (the food) is just what they needed.

(Later)

Jade, Sonya, Toadie and Kyle are eating the dinner, complementing Vanessa's cooking. They say Callum's never eaten faster, and he's since gone through to continue his game. There's a knock at the door, and it's Constable Silver, to speak to Jade. He says that they received information that Jade was involved in a violent altercation with Troy earlier this afternoon. He asks if she assaulted Troy, she admits she did.

(We get a flash of the Number 30 sign, and then return to Number 26)

Const. Silver has finished taking Jade's account of the events, and only Sonya can verify them. He says what she's told him isn't consistent with the victim's account of the events. He leaves. Jade is distraught, she insists that Troy tripped and what she did had nothing to do with his fall. It's Troy's word against Jade's, and while Sonya can verify Jade's statement, she's her sister and might not be seen as an independent witness. Sonya puts her arm around her (we saw this sequence in the montage earlier.) Toadie says that Jade might get charged with assault if Troy lives, and if he doesn't it could be manslaughter.

Tomorrow on Neighbours
- Jade yells at Rhys for telling the police that she put Troy in hospital.
- Sophie encourages Callum to visit Troy.
- Vanessa berates Rhys for speaking to the police against Jade.
- Jade wants Rhys out of their house.
