- Sonya finding out about Callum's deal with Troy.
- Troy preventing Callum from leaving #32.
The episode begins with us seeing an ambulance leaving after getting notification to head to 32 Ramsay Street…
…30 minutes earlier
Troy locks the door of #32 despite Callum saying he can't keep him, but Troy's reasoning for doing so is that he wants Callum to hear him out and doesn't want anyone getting in the way of that happening. Callum asks for Troy to give him the key as his way of trusting him.
CALLUM: I won't run.
Surprisingly Troy hands over the key.
Ramsay Street/Carpark somewhere
As she exits the house, Sonya calls to tell Toadie about the deal Cal's made with Troy and that she fears he's gone there again.
SONYA: If Callum pushes him I know… I know what Troy is capable of. I have to make sure he's alright.
Toad plans on ignoring the order and coming to her, asking she goes to see one of the other neighbours until he can get there – he doesn't want her going in there by herself. She promises not to go into #32 and Toadie gets into his car, ready to drive to Ramsay Street… except when Toadie tries to start his car it doesn't start.
Callum wants to know why Troy didn't drop the intervention order and he explains that if he did then instinct tells him he'd have never seen Callum again, despite Callum saying he still would have.
Car park somewhere
Toadie calls about his car and the diagnosis is a flat battery but he calls off someone coming out to see him due to the time it's going to be, instead jumping in a passing taxi.
Sonya prowls outside of #32 waiting.
“All I want to do is be your dad,” Troy explains to Callum but he replies that he's got a dad – Toadie.
TROY: No he's not and he never will be.
Troy tries to soften his stance up saying he's really enjoyed spending the time that they've been having but the conversation is interrupted by a knock at the door – its Sonya. She shouts out to ask if he's inside and demands that the door be opened immediately. Troy shouts back to her that Callum is fine but she wants to see him. He refuses that but Callum asks to talk to his mum but he also refuses that too because he thinks Callum will take off. “I won't, I promise,” Callum says and reminds him that he holds the key and could have left already.
CALLUM: I don't want her to worry.
SONYA: You've got 5 seconds then I'm calling the police.
Weighing up the options, Troy tells Callum to open the door but surprisingly he just calls through it to tell her he's fine. Sonya is getting very frustrated and demands he opens the door but again he doesn't, telling her they are just building a coffee table and she should stop stressing and go home.
As Sonya leaves the front door, Callum turns to Troy and says that he can be trusted and suggests they build the coffee table.
Sonya now returns to her position at the bottom of the driveway, still concerned.
Jade spots Susan coming into the store as she is chatting to Kyle and discovers that the intervention order hasn't been lifted. She is furious on hearing the news and Susan tells her to sit down so they can chat about it.
Meanwhile, Lucas approaches Kyle and asks how he is – he's fed up of Jade shutting him out especially as he doesn't know how to respond to what is happening. Lucas replies that Toadie will get rid of him and seems a bit bemused when Kyle admits there is something else that might be affecting things too but he doesn't say more.
KYLE: I just want us to be normal again.
LUCAS: (laughing) You don't want normal mate. If you did you wouldn't have chosen Jade!
Having explained things, Jade still isn't any more accepting of the news Susan delivered especially when she says the decision won't be looked at again for at least a few weeks, possibly months. Susan pleads that they should let the authorities handle things but Jade isn't having any of that, and ups and leaves the store.
Kyle runs after Jade to find out what happened. She explains the order hasn't been overturned and wants someone to put “that creep in his place”.
KYLE: Not you!
JADE: Well he's ruining our lives. If we do nothing it's just going to keep happening.
Kyle physically stops her to say her going over will just make things worse. “Toadie deserves to be with his family,” she pleads and Kyle admits that he agrees with her – he'd love to punch Troy's lights out but it won't help anyone doing that.
KYLE: Nothings going to happen as long as we all stay calm.
Jade seems to accept what he is saying and he suggests she goes to the gym to get it out of her system. She agrees with his suggestion but doesn't want the company, however as he walks away from her, Jade has a look on her face saying she isn't off to the gym!!
Sonya is still prowling away outside #32.
And inside Callum and Troy are building the table. Callum doesn't look at all happy and seems to be looking at the pieces wondering if he can use one to whack Troy with!

Commercial break later and the table is now finished. Callum wants to head home but Troy requests he stay, reassuring him Sonya will be fine, and suggesting they have some drinks. When Troy heads off to get the drinks, Callum uses the opportune moment to let himself out of the house.
Sonya is relieved to see her son escape the house and quickly says she knows what has been happening but that Troy will never drop the intervention order. Callum appears to be as cool as a cucumber about the whole thing so she orders him home. “I can get through to him,” he pleads just as Jade arrives in the street. While Sonya's attention is distracted at hearing her sister, Callum makes a runner for the house.
Callum lets himself back into the house, hoping that Troy didn't hear him leave but he did.
Outside, Jade wants an update on what is going on and Sonya says that Callum is trying to talk Troy round after finding out about the intervention order. “He doesn't know what he's dealing with,” Jade cries before walking up to the front door of the house.
“Come away from the door,” Troy tells Callum and as he's trying to explain himself, Jade bursts into the house closely followed seconds later by Sonya. Troy is unamused at his unwelcome visitors and orders them out of his house.
Jade and Troy are having a slanging match and Sonya tries to diffuse the situation but Jade orders her sister to take Callum and get out of the house. Troy shouts out that Callum's going nowhere but Jade thinks otherwise and literally shoves Callum out of the house. Although he's lost his son from the house, Troy has “kept” Sonya and Jade instead as he locks them in the house.
TROY: Big mistake.
Callum bangs on the door shouting for Troy to open the door now as Sonya and Jade tightly keep hold of each other.
SONYA: Let us out right now.
TROY: No, you don't get to tell me what to do.
Troy makes to go for Sonya and Jade literally jumps to her defence telling him not to touch her but finds herself thrown onto the living room floor. Sonya rushes to check on her sister as we briefly cut to a concerned Callum outside.
A frantic Callum rushes into the middle of the street and shouts on the neighbours for help but looks like nobody is home.
Dial a Kyle/Garage
Lucas and Kyle discuss Toadie's plight neither of them agreeing with the court's decision. Kyle tells him about Jade wanting to give Troy a serve but he convinced her to go to the gym instead. Lucas gives him a look then explains that he's just back from the gym and she wasn't there. “How long were you there?” Kyle asks and Lucas replies a while and he went straight after their chat at Harold's.
Sonya checks how her sister is and she replies fine. Jade asks Troy what next and that he can't keep them locked up forever. “Make a move and you'll be sorry,” he tells them and they ain't going anywhere either until he says so!
TROY: All I wanted to do was come here and get to know my son but the two of you have made things so much harder than it needed to be.
JADE: You're so deluded.
TROY: You think you know me but you don't. You've made me out to be some kind of a monster but I'm Callum's father. I'm his dad.
Sonya seems to want to empathise with Troy, which puzzles Jade totally – she can't see that Sonya is just playing along with him. Sadly, Troy sees right though her plan but the conversation stops when Jade's mobile starts ringing however before she can answer it, Troy has snatched it from her and cancels the call.
Dial a Kyle
Kyle was the caller and can sense something is up, so gets into his Ute to get back to Ramsay Street, rejecting Lucas' offer to go with him and instead asking that he locks up for him.

Callum tries to see his mum but can't get in. Sonya reassures him that its okay, they are just chatting before telling Troy that this isn't going to help his case. He retorts that it's lucky he isn't calling the police after they barged into his house.
TROY: Meeting the two of you was the worst thing that's ever happened to me.
JADE: The feelings mutual.
TROY: (getting angrier) I'm getting really tired of the tough girl act Jade. You're as weak as you ever were.
Sonya tries to pacify him and calm him down before asking for the key so they can leave. Not surprisingly he isn't agreeing to that one as he thinks she'll do a runner with Callum to stop him from seeing the lad.
TROY: I pity the next one, I really do. Jarrod doesn't know what he's let himself in for.
Callum shouting for his mum momentarily distracts him and Sonya pleads again for the key, saying that he is worrying Callum who is already scared.
TROY: (shouting) You're scaring him, filling his head with stories, twisting everything. You don't deserve another kid. You don't deserve Callum. You think I'm going to give up fighting for him well you're dreaming!
As he's been saying this, he's walked progressively closer to where Sonya/Jade are standing and as he finishes that last word, Jade swings for him hitting him in the stomach, winding him. “GO,” she yells at Sonya and they make a runner for the back door, while he's momentarily down, given the front door is locked.
As Troy tries to follow, he trips and as he falls, so does his metal toolbox.
Commercial break later and Callum is still trying to get into the house when he spots Toadie. The lad immediately runs to him and tells him about the crash he heard and since then nobody is answering. Seconds later, Jade and Sonya come running from the backyard announcing that they are fine but that Troy could be hurt. Jade takes Callum back to the safety of #26 and seconds later Toadie and Sonya follow.
As they enter the house, Sonya wants them to call an ambulance. Toadie is extremely puzzled over what has happened and Sonya explains as best as she can. To their shock, he wants to go over to #32 to see how Troy is and leaves.
Sonya again wants to call for an ambulance but Jade wants them to wait until Toadie gets back. “And what if he gets hurt too?” she asks before dialling 000.
Kyle pulls up in his Ute just as Toadie also reaches #32. He repeats to Kyle what he's been told and that Jade is safely at home. The pair of them head into #32 via the backyard to check on how Troy is since the front door is of course locked.
Callum wants to know what happened inside but Sonya isn't talking. “Did he hurt you?” Callum asks and she shakes her head but puts a stop to more questions by saying they got out.
CALLUM: I hate him.
Toadie and Kyle creep into the house through the backdoor, calling out Troy's name and discover him prone with a head wound on the livingroom floor surrounded by the contents of his toolbox. “Is he breathing?” Troy asks and Toadie goes to see if there is a pulse.
Callum explains what he was attempting to do and Sonya comforts him by saying that he won't need to do that any more. He then decides to go out the back to see Bossy and the two sisters wonder if Troy was moving when they left.
SONYA: It's an accident.
JADE: But were the only people who know that.
SONYA: This is a nightmare that keeps going.
Sonya suggests they go to the police and tell them what he did but Jade is worried because of what Troy said – that they barged in there.
SONYA: He had Callum.
JADE: Yes because Callum chose to be there.
SONYA: I… Look as long as we stick together we will be fine.
Jade silently shakes her head.
Toadie confirms they have a pulse as Kyle gets on the phone and also phones for an ambulance. He finds one has already been summoned and is 2 minutes away. As the sirens approach, and we head into the final commercial break, Troy opens his eyes.
The ambulance pulls up outside #32 and Sonya, Jade and Callum walk over to meet it. Sonya confirms that she was the one that called when the ambo asks. Callum spots Toadie/Kyle coming along the driveway and the two sets meet as the ambo asks if the victim is inside. “Yes,” Toadie confirms and when asked what happened, replies that “he fell” before escorting the ambo into the house. “It was an accident,” Jade shouts as Kyle comforts her and likewise Sonya to Callum as the silent (and slow) ambo gets the trolley out of the ambulance.
Toadie and the talking ambo enter the house via the backyard but when they get to the lounge there is no sign of Troy. “He was right here,” Toadie says and that Troy was unconscious.
Sonya now arrives stunned to discover Troy isn't there either.
TOADIE: Where is he?
A very puzzled Sonya starts looking around her.
