This week on Neighbours:
Tash being complimented.
Lucas warning Rhys off.
Previously on Neighbours
Callum meeting his father.
Sonya warning Troy to stay away from her/her family.
Kate unimpressed at how Lou is going to pay his debt off.
Andrew catching Griffin cheating on Summer.
Andrew announcing he's no longer Red Cotton's manager.
Andrew watches on as Griffin and Summer chat and approaches her when Griffin heads to the toilet. After a bit of chat about him not being Red Cotton's manager any more, he's just about to tell her what Griffin's been up to when he returns, plus it looked like Summer didn't really want him to say anything about their relationship either. Realising he's lost the chance, Andrew leaves them to it.
Number 28 (next day)
Andrew drops in to tell Karl/Ajay some great news – they are now the resident band at Charlie's! He is a bit bemused when they aren't rapturous with the news, so they then break it to Andrew that they are now missing a base player because Adrian has walked out! Andrew isn't listening to them when they say they can't do the gig (he wants them to play that day!) and orders them to find another base player!
Sonya, Callum and Rani chat as they return home from the nursery and spot the ‘sold' sign going up. The three of them speculate on who might be moving in – Callum wants zombies so he can sell tickets at school!
“You were sleazing and mocking,” Kate declares after getting Lou to practice how he'd entertain a companion even though he didn't think he needed to practice!
“I'm not sleazy!” he protests and reminds her that his chat up techniques worked well enough to get to the alter 3 times! Kate isn't listening and begins about trying to re- educate Lou!
Paul discovers that Andrew is no longer representing Red Cotton when he's pleading with some agency to find him a base player. He then points his son in the direction of a base player – Sophie! Andrew responds that he has considered her but doesn't think it will look good – two old men and her! “I don't think you have much choice right now,” Paul suggests!
Griffin turns down Summer's request that they do something tonight, citing he needs to go to band rehearsal. When he heads to the counter to pay for their breakfast, Summer spots texts that he's been sent by Penny asking if they are still on for tonight!
“Who's Penny?” she asks when he returns to the table and comes out with the ‘we're not exclusive' line he told to Andrew. Summer doesn't see it that way and calls him a creep! He doesn't seem to think there is a problem at all and mentions too that is why Andrew is no longer their manager before walking out of the store as Sum struggles not to cry.
Toadie and Sonya watch on as Callum and Rani are getting on like a house on fire. Rani announces its time to go meet her dad and as she is about to leave, Callum hands her a plant that he potted up for her... but when she isn't exactly rapped to receive it, he quickly says it's for her mum instead.
When Rani leaves, Toadie and Sonya immediately to over to talk to him about his ‘aww' moment but Callum can't get into his room quick enough!
As Rani leaves, she spots the new owner of #32 getting the keys from the estate agent.
Toadie and Sonya are gushing about how great the three of them given what has happened and that bubs will fit in just fine too.
Rani spots the new neighbour and we see for the first time who has bought the place – Troy! The pair introduce themselves and Rani is taking great delights in telling him how great the Rebecchi's are and that she is great friends with Callum before heading off.
Sophie is immediately suss when she comes downstairs and Andrew starts giving her base playing compliments! He then drops it in that he's found her a gig... for that afternoon. She's impressed she's getting more notice than the last time... but then he breaks it to her that she's playing with The Right Prescription! Sophie is no longer interested.
SOPHIE: It's playing with two old guys to a bunch of grannies.
Paul butts in to say it will be a great thing for her but as far as she's concerned it's the worst thing she could do!!! Andrew literally pleads with her, but Sophie stands firm, she isn't playing with them!
Summer de- friends Griffin on Facebook as Andrew comes in (and out) of the store talking base players with Karl.
Lou and Kate “practice” some more and thankfully Lou learns quick and it's just as well because he's potentially got a companion lined up... once Kate acts as his manager and arranges it all!
Callum and Sonya are back working at the nursery (they had to go earlier for a supplier to drop stuff off) but someone unseen is watching them work... Troy!
Karl and Ajay call round to see Andrew and what they can do without a base player. None of the suggestions Karl has come up with (changing their music style/playing solo) is acceptable and just as they are on the verge of cancelling the gig, Sophie announces she'll play.
The trio head off to rehearse but not before Sophie explains what changed her mind – Summer had a chat to her and said what a tool Griffin had been and that Andrew tried to warn her.
The Right Prescription, with Sophie, entertains the punters with their stuff...although the looks Sophie is making she is obviously regretting agreeing to help!
“Practicing time is over,” Kate announces on her return and before he leaves (the date is that afternoon!) she gives him a few points... and that he's to be English because the lady (Dawn) apparently has a thing for English gentlemen! He tries his English accent out (and no way does it sound English!) before leaving the house.
Rani runs into Callum as he exits the store to say her mum really liked the plant and that he's been invited over for dinner next week. Callum is happy to be invited and before she leaves, Rani suggests he stops by to say hello to his new neighbour after telling him she met the guy and that he apparently knows them!
Callum returns with the shopping and spots Toadie in the drive ready to go out shopping! They have a bit of a laugh at Sonya's preggie brain and Callum mentions that the new neighbour apparently knows them according to Rani but doesn't know a name. Toadie heads off to get the rest of the shopping and Callum heads next door with an invitation from Toadie for the owner to join them for a beer later.
Rani arrives moments later to hang out with Callum (the library was closed) and Toadie asks her how the new neighbour knows them. She replies that he didn't but then adds that the guy's name was Troy! Toadie is immediately worried!
Commercial break later and Toadie is hot- footing it to the front door of #32, banging on the door and shouting “Callum.” Callum appears from the side gate and Toadie wants them to quickly get home but just as they are about to exit the driveway, Troy arrives in his car.
Troy seems more than happy to see the pair of them, which can't be said for the other way around! “What you doing here?” Toadie immediately asks and Troy replies that he's bought the place. “What do you want Troy?” is Toadie's next question and Troy says that he just wants to be part of Cal's life.
