- Rani warns Sophie to stay away from a girl call Claudia at her new school.

Sonya and Toadie have come to help Susan move. Susan is excited too and is packing the last of her stuff into a box. She's planning to lash out and get new crockery. (Wild!)
Jessica tells Karl that she had a really good time last night. Karl is uncomfortable about talking about it at work - he wants to be discreet. Jessica agrees - they don't have to advertise it until they "know what it is". She departs, and then Aidan comes over.
AIDAN: Doctor Kennedy! How was the date?
AIDAN: Rhys told me about it yesterday.
KARL: That's none of his business!
AIDAN: OK...then I won't mention it again.
KARL: It's just that Jessica and I...work together.
AIDAN: Karl...look, everyone here's too busy hooking up with everyone else to care what you're doing.
KARL: I'll bear that in mind(!)
He looks up, and the receptionist winks at him(!)
Sophie is kicking a football in the street. Callum comes over and wants to play with her. Sophie says she has to practise her skills so she can wipe the grin off Claudia's face.
Eden Hills Grammar
Sophie and the rest of the girls are on the soccer field. Sophie is last to be picked.
A teacher I have never seen before tell the kids that they're going to do an assignment in pairs - where they think they'll be in ten years. Callum is forced to partner with Rani, and isn't happy about it.
Summer comes in to remind Karl about Susan's birthday lunch at Charlie's - she's got people coming from the paper, but Lyn can't make it. Jessica comes over and Karl introduces us to Summer. When Summer has gone, Karl invites Jessica to come around for a home- cooked meal at his place. She looks pleased. The receptionist is earwigging in the background!
Summer and Aidan pass the time of day, then Susan and Karl come in. Karl asks Susan how the move is going and she tells him she's taken some kitchen stuff. She suggests he pops around tonight to see her new flat, but Karl, of course, has plans with Jessica. He doesn't tell Susan this.
Toadie and Susan are reminiscing about the past as they load the last of Susan's things into the car.
TOADIE: Hey, do you remember the time Billy and I ran away?
SUSAN:(laughs) Yeah, like it was yesterday! I thought Karl was going to explode.
TOADIE: Yeah...and then when I first moved in here?
SUSAN: You were so scared. Even though you wouldn't admit it.
TOADIE: You made that house so welcoming. And now you're not going to be in it anymore.
SUSAN: I'm just moving a few streets away.
TOADIE: Yeah, but I'm going to miss not having you so close.
SUSAN: Everyone's got to grow up and leave home sometime, eh? Do you know that I've *never* lived alone? I really need to do this, Toadie.
TOADIE: Yeah. I know.
They hug again.
Summer gets in the car, and Susan follows, after one last lingering look at No.28.

Sophie is doing really well at the football and scores a goal. Claudia congratulates her, but Sophie won't shake her hand.
Callum tells Rani that he intends to be a video game designer in ten years time. Rani tells him that she doesn't know what she wants to do yet - maybe looking after kids. Callum says she could be a princesses - they walk around in fancy clothes and visit sick kids(!) They start improvising and having a bit of fun, with Rani waving like a princess(!)
Toadie pops round to see Karl, who is looking through recipe books. He awkwardly tells Toadie that Jessica is coming around tonight. Toadie asks him if it's serious.
KARL: We're just really good friends.
TOADIE: Who date.
KARL: I really don't like that word!
He says he doesn't want to jump into a relationship straightaway.
Susan is sorting through some of her and Karl's items that are in storage.
Toadie asks if Summer knows about Jessica. Karl says he hasn't told her yet - and he hasn't told Susan yet either. Toadie says he can't let Susan find out from anyone else.
TOADIE: Susan wants to be single. You don't. She understands that. It's not like this is the first time you guys have been here.
KARL: All the more reason not to assume how she's going to react. I don't want her to think I'm jumping straight into another relationship.
TOADIE: I thought it wasn't a relationship? (firmly) Tell her.
KARL: I will. Today.
They sip their teas.
Susan sees Karl in the bar. He gives her a plant as a housewarming present, and says he was just on his way over to her place. He awkwardly asks her to sit down at a table with him.
KARL: I just wanted to sah how happy I am for you, finally getting your own place. Must be a relief.
SUSAN: It is.
KARL: Things have been difficult for us both, moving on. I wanted to see how you felt about us seeing other people.
SUSAN: Oh. Oh...is this about Jessica?
KARL: How did you know about that?
SUSAN: Just something that Lou said, and I know you've been spendign a bit of time together.
KARL: It's not serious. We're just doing a fun run together, it literally just happened.
SUSAN: Karl, I like Jessica, I always have, she's a really smart woman.
KARL: So you don't mind?
SUSAN: It's not really my business to mind.
KARL: You know what I mean.
SUSAN: Karl, I never expected you to stay single.
KARL: It's just that it has been a problem in the past.
SUSAN: Well...this is different. This was...my decision. It's what I want, and I'm happy. I want you to be happy, too.
KARL: (sincerely) Thank you.
Sophie has been invited to soccer camp after her performance today and Paul congratulates her. Callum and Rani pop round, and Sophie looks a bit surprised to see her - she's clearly thinking she's being replaced as Callum's friend. Callum and Rani are getting on a lot better now - Callum says he's corrupting the principal's pet(!)
Karl is cooking up a storm (wearing an apron!)
Susan is buying a carrot. Toadie comes in and tells her to just get takeout! She asks Toadie if they have a spare steamer and he says he'll ask Sonya.
There's a knock at the door and Karl lets Jessica in. She hands him a bottle of wine, and he replaces the one he has on the table already.
Toadie has rung Sonya, but they don't have a spare steamer. He tells Susan again to just get takeaway! She says she'll just drop in on Karl and get her own steamer.
Karl and Jessica are just pouring themselves a glass of wine when Susan drops around. She's surprised to be walking in on a date and comes over all awkward. Karl tells her it's fine, but Susan decides to make a quick, but awkward exit. Karl isn't phased, but outside the door, Susan looks mortified!
Karl and Jessica have finished their meal, and are just having a little pash goodnight when Summer barges in on them. Jessica leaves, and again, Karl isn't phased. summer asks if Susan knows about Jessica. Karl says he's spoken to Susan and she's fine about it.
Susan is rooting through their old junk.
SUMMER:(VO) Are you sure she's alright with this?
KARL:(VO) Look, I was a little worried too, but honestly - she's fine. Even when she saw us having dinner together.
Susan picks out a photo album, which has pictures of her and Karl re- marrying.
SUMMER:(VO) Susan was here when Jessica was over?!
KARL: (VO) Yes. And she was OK.
Susan looks through other photos of her, Karl and Mal.
SUMMER:(VO) Karl, this was her home!
KARL:(VO) Summer, I think we need to give Susan a little more credit. She's a strong woman. She's happy with the way things are.
Susan continues to look through the photos, looking a bit sad.
- Summer asks Susan if she's upset about Jessica and Karl dating. She says she's fine.
- Summer tells Andrew that she can't understand how Susan is OK with Jessica and Karl dating.
- Summer shows Susan some dating sites.
