Recap
Steph tries on Libby's wedding ring, but it gets stuck!
Libby and Elle end up wearing matching dresses at the engagement party.
Elle throws the dress back at Lucas, and leaves the party with Andrew.
Bridget isn't quite ready to tell her parents she's pregnant yet.
Sharni shows up at the engagement party, surprising Declan.
Number 26
An upset Bridget arrives home accompanied by Rachel. Zeke encourages Declan to stay away, but doesn't succeed. Declan apologises to Didge, claiming that he was tired and upset, but Didge points out she is in exactly the same position as him, and she didn't go kissing any guys. Didge is shocked to hear that Zeke oversaw the kiss, but Declan explains that it didn't go any further, even though Sharni had asked him.
Miranda and Steve arrive home in time to see Bridget push Declan away; she doesn't want anything more to do with him. Revealing to her parents the reason why, Steve encourages Declan to leave, while Miranda comforts her daughter.
General Store
As Elle mopes about her failed non-existent romance with Lucas, Andrew casually loosens his tie. Andrew admits he thought Elle and Lucas were together.
ELLE: No, no way, he's a selfish, arrogant, two timing, ego maniac. Why would I want anything to do with him.
Andrew, like the rest of us, isn't so convinced. Offering her his jacket, the two lean forward to kiss, though are interrupted by a call from Lucas.
ANDREW: Are you going to take out a restraining order, or are you going to answer it?
Elle decides to leave it, and Andrew decides it might be best if he takes her home. Elle isn't so keen and asks for him to stay and finish his coffee with her, though instead it leads to them finishing off their kiss.
Charlie's
Steph continues to struggle to remove the ring. Encouraging her punters to leave, Lucas believes the night is still young. Steph suggests he goes elsewhere, but prehaps without the dress, draped around his neck.
LUCAS: You know, I've had things thrown at me before in the past; but never a dress.
Steph mentions the cost of the dress, and Lucas remembers the time he had an antique clock thrown at him; apparently she really hated him. How many women has this man upset! Steph however, doesn't think that Elle hates him, though she's not totally sure. Lucas, points out that as a lady of the bar, it's in the job description to know these things.
Over on the other side of the bar, it seems Kelly and Toadie have had a good evening. Not wanting their night to end they decide to head home together, though not before sharing a passionate kiss.
Shooing out the last of the punters, Steph is delighted as she manages to pull the ring off her finger.
General Store
Elle and Andrew continue to kiss, though Elle jumps and pulls away. She apologises for not feeling quite right and giving him false pretences. He tells her not to worry as he understands. He tells her to keep the jacket; it'll give him an excuse to come and collect it from her later.
Number 26
With Miranda busy in the kitchen, Rachel tries to make a quick escape, but fails. Miranda admits she knows there is more troubling Bridget than just Declan's kiss. Rachel keeps her promise and tells Miranda she will have to ask her herself. Detective Steve can't find Declan, and Rachel makes her excuse to leave. Miranda and Steve ponder over what to do.
Number 28
Declan arrives over to give Zeke an earful, but Zeke point out that Declan brought it all on himself. Ringo is confused, but Declan reckons Zeke made it worse; he was trying to protect Didge.
DECLAN: But you had to get all moral and righteous.
ZEKE: It's better than being a complete sleaze.
Ringo breaks them up before a fight occurs, but Zeke doesn't help matters by expressing that Didge will be a better mother without him around. Angering Declan, Zeke continues to say that he will be a bad father, leading to an almost punch-up on the sofa. Pulling Declan away, Ringo asks Declan to remember who is friends are. Picking himself up, Declan heads out the door, leaving the lads rather confused.
Number 24/Number 26
Declan arrives home, and as a last attempt texts Bridget to ask if they can talk. Lying curled up on her bed, she replies instantly with a no, leaving Declan to stew. Miranda comes in to sit with her daughter, and comforts her with a hug.
General Store
Dan escapes to leave Callum on his own with a very side-tracked Toadie and Kelly. Joining them at the table, the two are too busy gazing into one another's eyes to notice Callum pour the entire sugar shaker into Kelly's coffee.
Over at the counter, Carmella reveals to Elle that she found two coffee cups lying around when she opened up this morning. Elle admits it was her, and reveals her companion to Carmella.
CARMELLA: Mr Simpson!? Oh, he is so hot!
ELLE: I know!
Elle admits they kissed, but Carmella cottons on that he's not Lucas. Elle doesn't get a chance to fight her battle when her father arrives, with plans to put a page three page into the Erinsborough News. Elle is disgusted at her father's idea, though Lou is all for it.
ELLE: You are going to have every feminist in this town after your blood.
LOU: And every red blooded male, lining up to buy you a drink mate.
Toadie doesn't see how he's going to get women lining up to do it anyway, but Kelly has other ideas. Aside from the newspaper making profit, Kelly believes if a woman feels proud of her body, she should show it to the world. Lou and Paul couldn't agree more.
Law Offices
While Toadie goes to find some left over pizza on his desk, for Callum to take to school as his lunch, Kelly offers Callum the use of her laptop to write his book report for school. Callum sees his part in getting the two of them together as a way of making a deal.
CALLUM: First, you go way easier on me at school, and a lot less homework, starting with this dumb book report. Kapish! Good plan?
KELLY (dead pan): So no Kapish; and lousy plan.
Kelly points out that the other kids will soon work something out, and he'll loose all his friend, so he best start typing that report. Toadie returns from the office, his face stuffed with pizza, claiming there is none left; and we all wonder why!
Charlie's
Elle is impressed with Paul's redesign of the new front page, but Steph backs her up on the idea of the page three girl. Steph wonders who he's likely to get anyway. Lucas comes by to return the dress to Elle, but after a comment about Andrew, Elle decides he can keep the dress. Leaving them to it, Paul wonders why his daughter is trying to hard to push Lucas away, warning her she could become a lonely old lady.
Flicking open his e-mail, Paul receives a photo of Kelly all glammed up. Elle can't believe what she's seeing, but Paul sees it as gold.
General Store
A short update from Rachel and Zeke at the counter informs us that Declan is still in a bad mood, and Bridget hasn't shown for her work experience. Squire Lou brings them their coffees, so they head off.
Andrew and Dan arrive, but on seeing Lucas, Andrew decides to head off and finish his marking. Dan joins his brother to find the latest status of play.
DAN: You two made up yet?
LUCAS: I tried and I failed.
DAN: Oh, you're not going to give up that easily mate?
LUCAS: What can I do?
DAN: Righto, so can we expect to see you playing the field again?
LUCAS: No, I think I might become a monk instead.
DAN: Yeah, it's probably simpler.
LUCAS: Mate, nothing is simple with women, especially the interesting ones.
Kelly, Toadie and Callum arrive for lunch. Kelly asks to see his book report, but opening her laptop, realises that he has been through her files. Toadie is not impressed to find he has been through her photos.
CALLUM: Hey, I was just checking out her security, and it's totally slack.
Kelly soon realises that Callum managed to find her modelling photos.
TOADIE: Callum, this is private. You're not old enough for this. Why would you embarrass Kelly like this?
CALLUM: She said she'd be proud to show her body to the world.
KELLY: The world!? Show the world?
Law Offices
Conversation is quickly brought over to the law offices. At least someone recognises that the General Store ain't the best place for a private conversation!
TOADIE: I don't understand, how could you do this to Kelly?
Checking her sent e-mails, Kelly and Toadie quickly realise that Callum has already sent it to the newspaper. So much for writing that book report! Callum admits that since they started going out, he feels they've not had time for him. Toadie sends him out to the reception area to wait, allowing Kelly and Toadie to simultaneously apologise to one another. Toadie offers to pull some strings and see if he can stop it from being published.
Number 26
Miranda and Steve bring some food through to Bridget and encourage her to eat, but she says she'd rather not. They leave her to lie back on her bed, listening to her mp3 player.
With Miranda and Steve back in the kitchen, Declan jumps in through Bridget's window. He asks for her to listen, claiming he needs her.
BRIDGET: You need me? I trusted you, and you humiliated me. Get out!
DECLAN: I don't know what to do.
Hearing the commotion, Steve re-appears and pulls Declan out of the room. Declan tempts Steve to hit him, but Steve resists. Miranda demands to know what is going on, so Declan tells Didge to tell her parents, but she refuses, claiming it was just a fight. Steve throws Declan out the door, demanding he doesn't come back.
Ramsay Street
Rachel, Zeke and Ringo are playing hand-tennis in the street when Declan comes storming down the Parker driveway. Climbing straight into his car, the others rush over to find out what's what, but he refuses to say anything. Hearing the car, Bridget comes rushing out of the house to try and stop him, but ends up crippling over in pain. Rachel yells to Zeke to call an ambulance, and Didge is forced to admit to her parents that she is pregnant.
