Recap
Rachel explaining to Zeke and Ringo why she can't go home.
Ollie finding out that Marco was married.
Marco calling Carmy.
Due to Janae leaving on Friday, there are some slight changes to the titles. The scenes she was in with Ned and Mickey, are just the two of them now - on the carousel and their photo booth shot.
Carmella's flat
A very excited Carmy chats to Marco in WA and while she is delirious at him calling, he is teary when he hears Chloe's baby gurgling noises. They go round the houses for ages before Marco drops the bombshell of him getting the 12 month contract but while Camry looks like she is about to lose it, he tells her it isn't signed.
CARMELLA: Oh Marco I've been an idiot!
You don't say!!! She frantically begs him not to sign and he agrees not to and that he'll be on the next flight home.
No. 28
Libby is suggesting ideas on where they can look for Rachel but Susan is lost for ideas over where to search next.
Jordan house
Zeke leads the procession of teens out of the Jordan family house with Rachel closely behind pleading that he gives her a phone so she can call Angus. He (and the other teens) refuses to hand over a phone to her and while Rachel is about to lambaste them for not being her friends, Susan calls Zeke on his phone but he doesn't dob Rachel in much to her relief.
Zeke wastes no time in letting rip at his sister but when Declan backs him up, Rachel deflects the attention off of her on him by saying "Didge still not talking to you" and "are you going to keep hanging around until she changes her mind?"
DIDGE: When did you become such a horrible person?
RACHEL: When I realised that none of my so called friends give a damn about me any more.
RINGO: Then why are we here? Didge lied to her parents and coped no unend of trouble for you. Taylah took you in and lied to her dad and Zeke's been lying to Susan just so you can make up your stupid mind
RACHEL: (interrupting) If you really cared you would understand what I am going through. Okay, you would know what is happening to me and you would understand why my life is over.
Unknown by Rachel, Brad comes out to the garden to see what all the noise is about since they haven't exactly been quite and just like the teens, he isn't mincing his words either and wants an explanation about what is going on. Cue guilty looks and nobody talking.
Rachel's room - home of the annoying wind chimes
Susan and Libby are raking through Rachel's room to find her diary/clues as to where she might be but are coming up with nothing. Libby is feeling guilty over raking but Susan just wants to find her. She reassures Susan that they will get through it and maybe become closer before she has a brainwave after spotting Rachel's computer on the desk - looking through Rachel's emails.
Susan opens the laptop and logs on and confesses that she is afraid of what she might find on it.
Jordan house
Zeke tells Brad to blame him rather than Taylah but she pipes up and admits it was all of them - they were trying to do the right thing by making Rachel go back of her own accord and didn't want to dob. Brad doesn't quite agree with the sentiment especially as half the community has been out looking for Rachel.
BRAD: Taylah you're weak, Zeke you're an idiot and you (turning to look at Rachel) must feel very proud of yourself.
RACHEL: Hey, you're the one printing newspapers with my story on the cover.
BRAD: That's because you're news so get used to it. (Rachel shakes head) You do realise that its your family and friends that you've been hurting don't you? (Silence from Rachel) I understand. No-one understands me but I'll behave like a brat until I get my own way well thank god you're not my daughter.
RACHEL: Yes thank god.
Brad then demands Susan's number but Rachel keeps quiet, Didge however doesn't and agrees to tell him the number which Rachel is not at all happy about.
Carmy's pad
Ollie comes over to see Chloe but is instead met by a still delirious Carmy who wants to know which dress will suit her best for when Marco comes back. Ollie looks a bit put out at the thought of Marco returning but she assures him he will still be Chloe's dad, that isn't changing.
Jordan house
Didge and Ringo chat away from the other teens and Brad. She tells Ringo she has no regrets about telling Brad the number and that her friendship with Rachel may be over too.
Libby and Susan arrive and wordlessly because facial expressions are more than enough, the kids get into the back of the car and they drive off.
After they leave, the 3 Ramsay teens look at each other. I wonder if its how do we get home!
The General Store
Harold goes all gooey Chloe while Carmy attempts to do some shopping for Marco returning. She is still so delirious and rushing around trying to get it done before going to get her legs waxed ( hello you only had a kid a few weeks ago nocturnal activities shouldn't be resumed yet!!!) that he takes pity on her and volunteers to do get her things to allow her to get to the appointment.
The teens enter the store and Taylah is wondering what punishment she will get when her dad returns home. Naturally they start chatting about Rachel and what is happening but Didge pipes up "who cares" and this seems to hold for them all. Didge apologises to Declan about what Rachel said but he couldn't care and opens up to them about going to his dad's funeral yesterday. They are stunned and concerned for him but he thinks that Rachel should take a leaf out of his book - just get over it.
No. 28
The KK's arrive home and Rachel heads straight for her room but Susan stops her to reassure Rachel that they will all get through this together as a family. Rachel isn't in the mood for concessionary talks though as she is still bitter about Susan contacting Angus and looks like she is getting ready to let rip but Susan stops her to say that they are both angry so she heads for her room saying she needs "a time out".
With Rachel in her room, Susan now has a go at Zeke for keeping quiet but he confesses that he didn't say because of the way Rachel was talking about her.
ZEKE: She needed to calm down.
Rachel storms into her room and flings herself onto her bed from where she spots that her laptop is open and is not amused that someone has been on it.
Back in the livingroom, Zeke continues with what he was saying before we cut to Rachel - that his sister was acting so horrible and she hasn't been very well lately. "So you were trying to protect me and look after her at the same time?" asks Susan. Zeke nods and Susan goes over to hug him, reassuring him he did a good job.
Rachel reappears from her bedroom and asks if they enjoyed going through her emails.
The General Store
Didge has a dig at Declan for not telling her about his dad dying. He is still playing down his dad's death but does tell her that he is glad for his mum's sake. Again, she apologises for what Rachel said and he gives her one of his cute smiles before asking why doesn't she walk home (she's waiting for Steve to pick her up). She tells him that she still needs the granny gadget and he questions her if she's gotten too used to having it.
DIDGE: Just because I'm giving you a hard time for not telling us anything doesn't mean you can turn around and give me advice.
DECLAN: Ditch the walker.
DIDGE: Get a better attitude.
No. 28
We return to the KK household where Rachel is literally blowing her top!
RACHEL: Do you have any idea why I went missing?
SUSAN: Yes, you ran away because I told Angus never to see you again.
RACHEL: So you can just stand there and admit it like you're proud of it?
SUSAN: Oh, I'm not proud of any of this.
RACHEL: Are you jealous of me? Is that what this is?
SUSAN: (rolls her eyes) For goodness sake!
RACHEL: OK then why do you have to threaten my boyfriend? Four marriages isn't good enough for you?
SUSAN: I am the adult here; I'm responsible for what you do.
RACHEL: That's what you think of me, isn't it? A child, a stupid, immature child.
SUSAN: (getting really angry) He was your teacher!
RACHEL: (getting even angrier) I loved him and I still love him.
SUSAN: I know you think you love him, but it's not real.
RACHEL: You're pathetic. You're sad, dried up, jealous and pathetic!
SUSAN: THAT'S ENOUGH!
RACHEL: I HATE YOU!
Rachel storms off to her room, and Zeke follows her. Susan and Libby are left standing in the living room, clearly stunned at what Rachel has said.
We cut to Zeke's room where he slams the door shut and is staying to say his peace despite Rachel telling him to go away.
ZEKE: Do you even know what you just said to Susan? She could chuck you out if she wanted, but she won't Rach. She would rather die; she would rather die than let anything happen to you. She had to get rid of Angus.
RACHEL: (starts crying) Zeke, what am I going to do?
Rachel now seems to realise the enormity of what she said to Susan.
Charlie's
Random Dan is reminding Frazer and Ollie that pre-season footy training starts soon and that they need to commit 2 nights a week to training despite Frazer thinking it was only one.
Ollie leaves them to it when Mia walks in and Frazer has one of those 'I know your face from somewhere' thoughts before he too has to leave to pick Carmy and Chloe up.
DAN: What's your story mate? You just sit around all day picking people up?
FRAZER: Well I'm a cabby so yes, sort of.
DAN: Yes... that makes sense.
That sounds like something Dave Brewer would say. The two gents shake hands and Frazer remembers the face now - Marco's sister.
Over at a table, Ollie thanks Mia for coming before getting down to business - Marco's return. Again, we go round the houses before 2 things emerge - Ollie is looking out for Chloe, well Carmy, and Mia is looking out for her brother and that Mia thinks Marco isn't over the ex-Mrs Marco. Decision time for Ollie whether he says anything or not to Carmy.
The General Store
Frazer does his best to ignore Carmy in preference to Chloe but after reminding him that she is there, she tells him about Marco coming back and them getting back on.
FRAZER: And it's quite interesting actually.
CARMELLA: Interesting?
FRAZER: You and Marco. Oliver is Chloe's father and I don't want to jump the gun here but he Marco's sister are on some kind of date right now. Talk about neat-o huh!
This is news to Carmy and Frazer suddenly plays down the "date" by saying it looked more like a business lunch... until he realises that it is 5.30pm! "How did they look?" asks Carmy and Frazer replies that they were intense.
CARMELLA: Each to their own.
Zeke arrives and Harold tells him that he's missed the teens but can sense that things are a bit tense at home with Rachel back and goes to get him some ice-cream and cake.
No. 28
Susan is asking Ben about his time with Mickey when the young lad suddenly blurts out that she looks "MS-y". This puzzles her until Ben expands and adds that the way she is looking is like when her MS is bad. Susan tells him that it isn't her MS, she just feels a little bit tired but bless the little lad, he runs off to run her a cool bath because she should be looking after herself. Aww
Libby carries on with the mantle her son too and asks how she is. Susan tries to play down what Rachel said, saying that her kids have said that to her before but it was never really meant. She also adds that Rachel has even said those same words to her before; it's like water off a ducks back now...
SUSAN: But this time she meant it.
Libby thinks it will blow over and Rachel will be out soon enough to apologise and begging forgiveness.
SUSAN: Yeah, and what do I say to her?
LIBBY: That you forgive her.
SUSAN: The way I feel right now, I don't even know if I want to forgive her.
Rachel's room - home of the annoying wind chimes
Rachel is still in her room leaving more messages begging Angus to call because she knows the truth over why he ended it all and doesn't care what anyone else thinks. Libby knocks on her door and opens it and enters despite Rachel making it clear she doesn't want her in her room.
Libby comes straight to the point - taking back what she said to Susan isn't going to be easy and isn't going to make life fun at Number 28 for a while. Rachel thinks she isn't going to be around for long and Libby asks if she thinks Angus is going to rescue her. Libby asks if he has returned any of the multitude of messages she has left before telling Rachel that Angus has let go because he knows their relationship can't go anywhere and that he is finally being responsible.
RACHEL: And what makes you such an authority on how Angus feels?
LIBBY: Because I've been in his shoes.
Without so much as coming out with a direct 'I slept with Taj', she manages to convey to Rachel what happened to her and how it almost ruined her life, Taj's life and her relationship with Susan.
RACHEL: So you and Susan fought about it?
LIBBY: Oh yeah. Sweetheart, if Angus is half the man you make him out to be, he would have done the right thing eventually, with or without mum.
Rachel nods slightly and Libby gets up and kisses her on the forehead before going to head out the room but stops when Rachel asks:
RACHEL: Lib? I really hurt her, didn't I?
LIBBY: (nods) Yeah.
Libby now exits the room leaving Rachel to ponder over her actions.
