Taylah telling Rachel Karl and Susan always put her first; Rach retorting that they treat her like a child.
Rachel's friends turning up at Taylah's house.
Janae telling Ned that she's moving north and leaving Ramsay Street.
The Parkers' Place
Ned and Janae are still talking, and Ned thinks they can make their relationship work. Janae says she's doing this for Mickey, but Ned doesn't get it. He tells Janae to go if that's what she wants, and she walks out.
And, shock horror, Ned's eyes fill with emotion. Yes – emotion.
Taylah's Bedroom (we're not sure if the rest of the house exists)
Rachel is cross that Taylah ratted on her to her friends, so Zeke, tells her to sit down and listen to him for a change. Surprised, Rachel does as she's told.
Janae is booking a flight when Toadie and Steph come in, wondering if she should think more about this decision, but she's sure she must do it now rather than later. She admits she hasn't told Mickey yet, and gets a bit upset; Toadie suggests she should take some time to say goodbye to all the neighbours first.
Janae wants assurance she's doing the right thing, and Steph and Toadie give her a group hug.
Zeke can't believe that Rachel is slagging off Taylah and Didge when all they've done is protect her. She thinks Taylah broke a promise to her.
ZEKE: How can you talk about promises with all the lies you've told?
RACH: That was different.
ZEKE: Why? Because you're special? Because the normal rules don't apply to you?
Go Zeke! He tells her that her friends are here for her, not Angus, and asks her to come home. His phone rings and it's Susan; she begs him not to answer, and conveniently we cut to...
... where Susan says he's not answering. Then back to...
...where Zeke rejects the call and Rachel thinks he's a good brother. Zeke comments that he's a bad son.
Susan is worried about Zeke, wondering if he's heard from Rachel, and thinks they shouldn't take the kids' behaviour for granted, given the last few weeks.
Zeke asks Rachel where she's going to go, and she says she'll go and live with Kat – she'd like to borrow the bus fare money from Zeke! He refuses, and can't believe she would give up her whole life for one mistake. Rachel says she can't be this close to Angus knowing he hates her.
Cute baby shot. Rebecca is serving cake for the two of them, but Carmy and her rather large lips are not really with it...she's missing Marco. Becca relates the story of not feeling she deserved to be happy when Declan came along, and tells her that this left its mark on Declan.
Carmella wonder if she's enough for Chloe – those lips certainly are, Chloe must be able to see her mother a mile off – and Becca retorts that Chloe will pick up on Carmella's unhappiness.
Mickey says he doesn't like porridge, he wants toast. He doesn't even say please – this brat is SO SO rude. Ned – good for him – tells his son no, it's porridge he's having. Mickey says he's going to make toast. Man, this kid needs a slap. I'll happily do it. So Mickey strops off, and NED APOLOGISES!
Honestly!!!! This kid is going to be a nightmare teenager if he's allowed to get away with this sort of behaviour!
Steve comes in and chats with his brother; Ned tells him Janae's leaving to go and be with her family. Steve sympathises with Mickey, and feels sorry for Janae, knowing everything she's dealt with. He thinks she's made the right decision for Mickey.
Janae is getting ready and comments that she'll have to go box some stuff at number 26, but Steph offers to do it for her. Janae thanks Steph for her support and love, especially during the whole Boyd thing; Steph tells Janae she's a brave and gutsy chick. They hug and cry and wonder what else needs to be done before she leaves, and Janae knows she has to tell Mickey.
And just at that moment, Mickey turns up, wondering if it's true – is she leaving?
Cut to later where Janae is telling Mickey she loves him and Ned very much but this is an adult thing. Mickey doesn't understand, so she reminds him of a fairytale she read him once about Kings and Queens and dragons. She uses it as an analogy to explain why she's leaving and Mickey seemingly accepts it.
As Janae takes her stuff to the car with Toadie and Steph, Daniel Fitzgerald is unpacking boxes from the car next door.
Karl and Susan approach Janae and hug her, wishing her all the best, and telling her she's a very bright girl. Steve comes over and says goodbye, too, and Janae wishes them good luck with the auction before asking him to look after Ned. Lou and Harry come over.
HARRY: Not a Timmins left in the street. It breaks my heart.
And ours, Harold.
(And how many people wanna bet the writers got that line in as a little dig to Channel Ten?)
Janae learns that Ned isn't coming to say goodbye so gets in the car with Steph. Then, suddenly annoyed, she gets out and runs to number 26.
Ned is washing up, and Janae demands to know why he didn't come to say goodbye. Ned didn't see the point, and refuses to look at her. Janae tells him she had the best time of her life with him, and he taught her so much about loving, and gave her the privilege of being part of Mickey's life.
JANAE: I do love you, Ned. It may not seem like it right now, but I do.
She leaves. Ned turns round with tears on his cheeks. (Real ones, too.)
Ringo tries to talk to Rachel and explains his experience with Carmella. Rachel doesn't listen, because her parents are ashamed of her and Angus doesn't love her which makes her different, obviously.
Zeke wonders if knowing Angus did love her would make a difference...and tells his sister that Angus does love her...
Winery woman knocks corks into wine barrels. Marco comes in and says he wants to take her up on her offer, but he doesn't seem very pleased about it. Winery woman thinks he's running from something, so asks him to think very carefully about it first before he signs anything.
Rebecca's on her way out and suggests that Carmella calls Marco. Just as she closes the door, Carmy's phone rings and it's Marco. Carmella's lips say hi and they catch up briefly.
Zeke has told Rachel that Susan asked Angus to dump her daughter. Rachel is livid, and Zeke tells her not to blame Susan because she still can't be with him.
Rachel declares she will never go home.
Janae has checked in, and Toadie and Steph are saying goodbye to her. She's about to go through the gate when Ned and Mickey arrive. They hug and kiss and Janae suggests that when she's a bit more settled they can see each other again.
JANAE: I love you so much.
NED: You too.
Mickey finishes off the fairytale story for her and tells her the King and Queen live happily ever after when the Prince has grown up. Aw. (Still a brat, though.)
Janae kisses Mickey one more time.
Crying, she waves at them from the gate. Crying, Mickey and Ned stare as she goes.
