Max arrives with an anniversary present for Steph (pity he actually missed the date as the anniversary should have been last Friday, the 21st July) - a helmet. Stinger thinks it is sweet...until he reads the back which says in red letters 'take it to the Max' and confirms to Max that it is bad...but that Steph will love it!

Max heads into the office to wrap the pressie up and Dylan appears, so Stinger asks if he has spoken to Sky. Dylan says that he couldn't tell Sky that the software wasn't from him and doesn't react kindly when Stinger suggests that must mean he still cares about her. He then mentions Janelle making nice comments about Elle, and Stinger agrees that is weird. Elle surprises them when she enters the bar and Dylan wonders why she is there and she reminds him about the family dinner and he feigns that he didn't forget.

No. 28
Steph comes round to drop off and set up a travel cot for Charlie as the Kinski's are babysitting him. She asks Katya how she is travelling (you'd think they'd have dropped the Life Mechanics jargon by now!) and Katya struggles for an answer before eventually saying that she is fine although it doesn't really sound like it. Steph then brings up Toadie and the fact that he is in love with her and Katya struggles for words to deny what Steph has said. When she remains quite, Steph wonders how nice it is to have someone fight in your corner for you and that she could do a lot worse than Toadie because he is a great guy. All Katya says in reply to that glowing testimony is "yeah" before Steph decides to leave.

Ramsay Street
Ned and SMC come back from the hospital with Ned telling her that she has a talent for singing and should use her voice but she isn't interested. They spot Toadie clearing out the garage and Ned tries to tell him about SMC's great voice but he isn't interested, which SMC is grateful for.

Toadie asks Steph as she makes her way home how Katya is and she tells him that Katya is still pretty shaken up and jokingly says it gives him a good excuse to do his knight in shining armour bit before being serious and telling him that Katya will be all his once the Sir Galahad routine wears off. Toadie mentions about wanting to go over and visit and suggests not too as the timing isn't right and to give her some more time.

No. 30
Ned is trying to convince SMC that she be a sister and have a successful music career...just like Julie Andrews! Toadie mentions that he is going to be dong some DIY electrical repairs and Ned tells him to be careful. Toadie feigns that he has been electrocuted after touching two wires together causing Ned to get all concerned until Toadie tells him that he switched the power off at the box first.

Lassiter's Complex
Lou comes across a mobile phone lying on the ground and wants to sell it because he thinks it is worth around $1000 whereas Harold says that he should hand it into the Lassiter's security desk. Lou rejects this suggestion and instead dials a number...Mishka's number! Harold is aghast at what he as done and tries to get Lou to hang up but not before they've had a quick chat (Lou tells her that he almost has the money to fly over to see her). Finally he does hang up and goes to hand the phone in!

LOU: Who knows, there might be a reward!

Dylan runs into Stinger who is finishing off his lunch and then they notice Sky walking by and Stinger offers her a chip. She says no and then rejects his offer to hand in an assignment on her behalf because she has to personally go to Uni. Stinger hints that Dylan could accompany her as he is due a break but she turns it down because he shouldn't be spending his break running after her. When Sky leaves, Dylan thanks his brother for what he did and apologises for being jealous of his friendship with Sky lately too before having a brotherly fight over the chips.

Scarlet Bar
Max gives Steph the bad news that he has a meeting after work that he can't get out of but that he will see her at the restaurant instead when he'll be all spick and span in his posh clothes unlike the working ones he has on. Steph mentions that she's bought him a cool pressie and he plays it cool over what he has got her but adds that she will be impressed with it.

At a table, Elle shows off to Dylan what she bought at the shops and Dylan suggests that it would be better if he didn't go to the meal because it is a family dinner and doesn't want to butt in. Elle informs him that he won't be butting in and that she wants him at the meal and isn't going to take no for an answer.

No. 24
Lou returns home moaning about the paperwork that was required for handing the phone in and Harold assures him that he is doing the right thing. Unfortunately the mobile phone starts to ring and Lou confesses that he didn't hand it in because he didn't like the look of the gorillas on the desk! He answers the phone and talks to the phone's real owner and Lou feigns that he was waiting for them to call.

No. 30
Ned is refusing to take the hint that SMC doesn't want a singing career because of the attention that it would bring as she simply wants to help people to make up for the terrible things she has done in her past. In the end she gets upset and he quickly apologises for upsetting her and SMC asks him to drop it just as Toadie enters to say the power is back on and what have they been up to. SMC then stuns Ned when she agrees to do one song for him even though her face suggests that she wishes he'd drop the idea.

No. 24
Lou gives the phone's owner his name and address so that they can come and collect the phone and asks for her name in return and in the background, Harold's ears pick up when he hears Lou mention the name - Elle McPherson. Harold is doing a great impression of s stunned fish and Lou interprets it as Harold having a go. He then gets Lou to confirm the callers name and he starts laughing. Lou wonders why then eventually the penny drops.

LOU: Oh strewth. You don't think...
HAROLD: No.
LOU: It could be.
(Harold thinks for a millisecond)
HAROLD: Oh. It could not be.

Lou then gets out the mobile phone and tells Harold that he was talking to 'The body' and that a superstar may be coming to the house. Harold tells him not to get carried away as there must be loads of Elle McPherson's in the telephone book.

LOU: That stay overnight in hotel penthouses.

Lou confirms that is what the caller said and starts to get excited and wonders if there will be a reward. The two of them debate Elle's career and Lou's eyes just about pop out of his head when Harold mentions that she has just done a new range of underwear!

LOU: Elle McPherson makes underwear?
HAROLD: Yes and very good at it too.

Lou is then stunned when Harold reels off the design influence and even materials used! Looks like perve Harry is back again!

HAROLD: Well I keep up with fashion too.

Scarlet Bar
Max asks if Dylan can handle things while he is out at his business meetings and Dylan replies that he isn't rostered on but 'some random extra who doesn't have a name' is but hasn't arrived for work yet. Max then shows Dylan the present he has bought for Steph, worried that she is going to hate it. Dylan volunteers to stay on until 'the random extra who doesn't have a name' turns up and tells Max that he doesn't mind missing his date either because Steph will kill him if he doesn't show up.

MAX: That is true, slowly and painfully.

Max heads into the office and Stinger winds his brother up for volunteering to stay on at work instead of going for a date with his girlfriend. Dylan reminds his brother that Max was desperate.

STINGER: Yes, almost as desperate as you are to get out of having dinner with your clingy girlfriend. Wonder why that is?

No. 30
Ned records SMC singing 'Danny Boy' and tells her it was great but as soon as she has sung the last note she bails. Ned announces that he is off to the bathroom and Toadie quickly opens the laptop and is delighted to find out that the fruits of his labour he was working on earlier has worked (he's set up a webcam in the bathroom) and says that Janae is going down!

SMC then scares Toadie when she comes back into the house and he is wondering why she came back. She tells him that he needs to make sure that the recording Ned just made gets lost...permanently and Toadie is wondering what is going on.

SISTER MARY CATHERINE: Do you think I became a nun to shove myself into the limelight?
TOADIE: That's probably because you love god and that right?
SISTER MARY CATHERINE: Look I let Ned make that recording to shut him up. That's it, now you need to make it go away.
TOADIE: But
SISTER MARY CATHERINE: I'm not asking you I'm telling you.

Toadie wonders if he is going to get hurt and SMC smiles politely before leaving again.

No. 24
Harold asks how Sky got on at Uni and she tells him that she has got some extensions and an appointment to see the Uni counsellor next week but thinks she may not go because she's over everyone's advice atm and it is doing her head in. Harold reminds her that a counsellor can listen as well as give advice and reassures her that everything will be fine even though she thinks her life is a mess.

SKY: How am I going to do my studies, earn some money and raise a baby? I mean what do I know about raising babies anyway? This isn't how things are supposed to be.

Harold laughingly replies that nobody knows the answer to that question and that all people can do is their best. Sky wonders how she can do that at nineteen as a single mum and he reminds her that he is going to spend the rest of his life without Madge or his wonderful children but that this is just another challenge.

HAROLD: Listen to me. You can spend the rest of your life regretting your decisions or you can use them to make you stronger. It's up to you.

Lou interrupts their chat when he arrives home with underwear... that will be worth a fortune once Elle McPherson signs it! Sky isn't as keen on the pair of them when they fill her in on who is visiting the house.

Scarlet Bar
Elle isn't exactly jumping for joy to find out that Dylan can't make the family meal and wants to go have words with Max when Dylan says that Max 'made' him work but stops her before she reaches him. Dylan is shocked when she tells him that she is going to stay and help him since they are short staffed and that working with him is the lesser evil than being at home.

Katya comes up to the bar to collect her order and Ned and Toadie walk in at the back of her and Toadie asks Ned to give him a sec. He heads to the bar and the chat with Katya is very strained and she uses the food getting cold as an excuse to leave. Ned tells him to go after her and he quickly heads out the door.

Lassiter's Complex
Toadie catches up with her after she tries ignoring him. When she is forced to stop, she bluntly tells him that she wants to put all that happened with CamRob behind her. Toadie replies that he is a friend and simply wants to help and she says that he can help - by leaving her alone. He then asks for a couple of minutes.

Lou starts to panic when he hears knocking at the door, so Harold tells him to quickly go and open the door.

LOU: (happy face) Welcome to

The facial expression changes so I presume that it isn't the Elle McPherson behind the door and I was right - it's Stinger looking for Sky and Lou signals for him to enter. Harold then suggests that they wait outside to allow Stinger and Sky to talk.

Stinger tells her that Dylan is pulling a double shift at the bar to avoid being with Elle and she is sitting around waiting for him and thinks it's crazy. Sky replies that it isn't so simple but refuses to explain why.

STINGER: Sky, two people I care about are miserable, so what are you seeing someone else, you taking crazy pills, been abducted by aliens? Why can't this be fixed?

Restaurant/Lassiter's Complex
Steph gets out her mobile and calls Max just as he is running out of Scarlet Bar. He answers and immediately butters her up asking if he's told her how much he loves her (aww) before she reminds him that he is late. Max acknowledges that fact and as he puts his suit jacket on (Max in a suit (swoon)) tells her that she can tell him after dinner what he can do to make up for it!

STEPH: Yes, well I guess every cloud has a silver lining.

He carries on chatting to her while the camera changes to Toadie and Katya.

Toadie is telling Katya that he thinks they've reached a point where they can trust and rely on each other but then she cuts him out. Katya explains that she just needs time away from him after what she has been through.

Max has now reached his car and tells Steph he's just 10 minutes away as he gets into the car. Steph says that she'll order him a drink and starts to read out things to him from a menu but he replies to simply surprise him as he starts the car.

Almost in tears, Toadie asks if he has to ignore her until she is ready to talk and Katya reminds him that she doesn't need all this pressure atm and wonders why he can't see that. "Because I care about you," is Toadie's reply. "Then just do as I ask," Katya replies before turning and heading away.

Toadie grabs onto her and she tells him to let her go before breaking free.

Max is reversing his car still talking to Steph on the phone and as he reverses hits something and immediately stops the car.

STEPH: Max.
TOADIE: Katya.

Steph shouts out "Max" again on the phone and he quickly undoes his seatbelt and gets out of the car where we find Katya lying on the ground unconscious with Toadie over her asking if she is alright. Toadie is trying to get her to waken up but she is out cold. He asks Max what has he done and Max replies that he didn't see her before Toadie tells him to call for an ambulance.

Now given that Max was reversing at negligible speed, that his 4x4 hasn't suddenly turned into a tank and that this incident took place on grass I find it very hard to believe that Katya is out cold. She is sprawled in the wrong direction too - she was waking to the right of the camera yet is lying face down to the left - or is that just for the benefit of the camera I wonder?!
