Toadie finding out that there is a bounty on his head.
Toadie telling Ned that people are talking about him and Sister Mary Catherine (SMC) and Ned denying it.
Karl telling Sky she is only 8 weeks pregnant.
Sky realising that Dylan isn't the baby's father.
Sky is now in Karl's office and Harold enters the room. He mentions that Stinger is still waiting for her and would have come into the office given half the chance! Sky is a bit freaked out by this and Karl wants to help by keep her in for observation but she rejects that in preference to going home. Harold assures Karl that Sky will get all the peace and quiet she needs at home and Stinger can keep her company! Karl suggests that Sky stays in the hospital a bit longer to get some rest, allowing Harold to take Stinger home, before coming back to collect her. With Harold gone, Sky thanks Karl and promises to let him know if she is having trouble keeping her food down.
Janae informs Boyd that someone has posted details on her blog of where she lives including maps and satellite pictures! They realise it has been posted due to the competition to get the pic of Toadie and Boyd tells her to get rid of it quick before Toadie realises what has happened and chucks them out.
Toadie and Ned enter the house arguing about SMC and his feelings for her and Ned accuses Toadie of being jealous because Katya dumped him. Their chat is interrupted by Janae's worst fear – a random stalker stopping by to get a photo of Toadie. The random stalker asks Ned to get a photo of him with Toadie but Toadie shoves him out of the house informing him that he hasn't won the $1000. Janae tries to sneak into the kitchen but Toadie informs her that there is to be a house meeting as the random stalker peeks through the glass window asking for his camera back.
Sky thanks Harold for the food he has made her but he can sense something is up. Sky mentions that Karl has said that the baby might not be as big as it should be and blames the morning sickness she is going through for it not being bigger. Harold actually believes this and says that he will find the both of them food that she can keep down.
Harold then remembers the gift that Bree bought, on Dylan's behalf, and gives it to her. She opens and finds that the present is expensive graphic software and Harold takes this as a sign that Dylan cares for her and the baby. Sky has a happy smile on her face, obviously agreeing with what her granddad is saying.
Elle asks if Dylan has heard anything yet about Sky and is told no apart from all is well and rejects a visit to see Sky in preference to running into her in the street. Janelle tells Dylan that he should get a medal for what he did with Sky and Bree pipes up that what he did was romantic but he'd rather they just forgot about it and moved on.
Harold pops by with some muffins and takes the opportunity to thank Dylan for the gift that he gave Sky and the fact it cheered her up. Dylan of course hasn't got a clue about what he is going on and once Harold leaves, denies to the ladies that he bought Sky anything. Elle says that she'd understand if Dylan bought the baby a gift and again denies giving Sky anything but chases after Bree when she suddenly leaves the kitchen.
Bree initially pleads innocence over buying Sky the gift, then comes clean saying that someone had to make the first move. Janelle is pleased that Bree used her initiative to do that all by herself and says that she is the brains of the family but Dylan still isn't impressed.
Toadie and Janae's ding-dong over the stalker is interrupted when Boyd tells Ned that SMC is on the phone for him. Ned heads into the kitchen to take the call and Toadie lays it on the line to Janae – she's to stop her blog. Janae refuses because her viewing figures (and advertising revenue) are going through the roof. Boyd tries to diffuse the situation and mentions that it is a good source of revenue too. Janae is still refusing to call it quits on her blog and tells Toadie that there is nothing he can do but is told that there is and to watch this space!
In the meantime, Ned has finished his call to SMC and Toadie asks if he has a hot date lined up with her! Ned coolly and calmly replies that they are going to be spending time together – volunteering at the hospital and would have invited him along…but he'll be too busy drooling over Katya!
1-0 to Ned and Janae asks if he can repeat the face he has just pulled because she missed it first time around. He takes the huff and announces that he is going to his room.
Elle sits and stew's at the conversation taking place around her as Bree justifies what she did but Dylan still isn't happy. Janelle adds that he should be grateful over what his sister did as she was just looking out for him. He doesn't see it that way and accuses Bree of messing with his life but she justifies herself by telling him that he doesn't want him to make a mistake. Dylan finally decides he's heard enough and leaves with Elle, who didn't seem too happy to be sat listening to what was just being said. Janelle can't resist though in asking if he is off to see Sky but is firmly told “no!”
JANELLE: Good work Breezer they'll be back together in no time!
Dylan and Elle enter the house with him still trying to convince her that he doesn't want Sky. Elle lets it be known that if it has stirred up old feelings between Sky and himself then she doesn't want to be the last person to know and he vehemently denies that there is anything going on, that it is just Bree stirring. “And your mum and Harold,” adds Elle.
DYLAN: Me and Sky are over as a couple. You are front and centre.
He then tells her that he'll go see Sky first thing tomorrow to say where the gift really came from. Elle asks if Sky will be disappointed that the gift didn't come from him and Dylan replies that he couldn't care about that as he hugs her.
Janelle tells Bree to stop feeling guilty Elle's feelings and perhaps one day Elle will thank her!
JANELLE: Elle is such a rebound girlfriend she should come with her own crash mat.
Toadie, Janae and Boyd enter the house and Janelle wonders why they are visiting. Toadie hands over a letter to Janelle from the DVD distribution company and Janelle opens it to find a demand for $27k or £11k for those in the UK! Ouch! Toadie reminds her that it is much better then $200k and points out the other positives too – the company want to settle out of court and have included a repayment plan for her too! Janelle still fancies her chances at trying to get off with it completely and Janae points out that the opposite could happen – being forced to pay the whole amount. Toadie issues some free legal advice to her – take the offer, but she wonders where she can get the money from and he reminds her before leaving that she is getting off lightly.
JANELLE: That's it, we're sunk.
Bree too reminds her that it could have been worse but Janelle doesn't see it that way and says that regardless of the amount, they haven't got the money. Looking at the repayment plan, she says that it is only $1000 (or £400) a month for two and a quarter years. Janelle says that she is lucky if she has $10 left at the end of each month and Bree suggests that they all pitch in. Boyd and Janae agree to pitch in too even though they aren't rolling in it but again, Bree is sure they will manage and that something will come up. Hmm I wonder if that would be the money Kim is proposing to send?!
Ramsay Street with a return to the cheesy Italian music
As they make their way to Ned's car, SMC tells him about what will happen at the hospital and that if he acts normally he'll get on fine. Karl pulls up in his car and enquires if Ned has time for a jam but is turned down because they are heading to the hospital. He volunteers to come with them to inflict his latest songs on the patients but SMC knocks him back as she has already set up some activities…private singing lessons and asks if they can borrow his guitar!
Elle listens in from another table, as Janelle is still despondent over how she is going to pay the $27k back. Bree volunteers to pay for brekkie with what is left over from her last royalty's cheque but Boyd announces that he is paying and heads inside. Bree tells her mum not to worry as she leaves the table.
Elle catches Janelle as she walks by to ask if she has a second to talk because she thinks she can help.
Dylan pops round to see Sky and Harold conveniently goes to put the kettle on, so leaving them to talk. She thanks him for the present as it reminds her that there is something else (going to Uni) besides chucking up and getting fat! Dylan doesn't put her straight but instead gets straight to the point – the ultrasound – and casually mentions that he hopes she'd tell him if there was anything seriously wrong. Sky starts to get upset and he immediately goes to comfort her. In the kitchen, Harold has a little smile on his face.
Elle has obviously volunteered to pay off the $27k but Janelle rejects it as it seems a bribe to her – a bribe to buy Dylan. Pondering for a minute, Janelle asks what Elle would get in return.
ELLE: No more interference from you. No more dirty little matchmaking exercises between him and Sky.
JANELLE: That was Bree.
ELLE: You have treated me like dirt. Form now on you will be so much more encouraging. You will give me good PR and you will tell the rest of your family that Dylan and I make a really good couple.
JANELLE: I will not be bribed by standing up for what is best for my boy.
ELLE: Well I suppose I admire you. I mean if it was me I'd much rather spend the time cuddling my little grandchild instead of working overtime struggling to pay a huge debt.
Janelle tells her that she'll have paid most of it off by the time bubs arrives but Elle wonders how, so Janelle retaliates and asks what happens if next month Dylan decides he does want to get back with Sky? Elle replies that she'll deal with that if it happens especially if it hasn't been forced upon him by his family. Janelle is now tempted by the deal Elle is offering but says that there are cheaper ways of finding out if your boyfriend loves you.
ELLE: Maybe…but that's not your problem is it?!
JANELLE: No. Looks like my problems are solved.
SMC introduces Ned to a patient called Hayley who is after singing lessons. She tries to get the lassie to show Ned what her vocals are like but Hayley goes all coy on him, so SMC sends Ned out on the pretence of getting Hayley a glass of water to find out what is up. Hayley replies that she thought the music instructor would be an old foggie not good looking Neddy boy. SMC tries to play it cool with the lassie by saying that Ned was nervous too about coming because he didn't think he would be good enough to teach and would appear stupid. Never!!!
Sky catches up with Karl and wants a quick word. After allaying his fears that it isn't about her keeping food down, she tells him of the reason for the chat – the size of the baby and the implications surrounding it. Karl is surprised to hear that she hasn't told anyone about the real ultrasound result and suggests that a counsellor would be good for her to talk things over with a non-family member. She rejects that because she wants a friend to talk to ie him but he would prefer that she went to someone independent because he doesn't want to compromise his relationship with Harold or Dylan…and whoever the father may be.
Janelle asks Dylan if he sorted things out with Sky over the present, not yet, then shocks Dylan by telling him that she thinks what Bree did was out of order. “Yes you were real disapproving,” replies Dylan. Janelle justifies it as not wanting Bree to feel bad, so Dylan sarcastically asks if it is okay for Elle then. Dylan is further shocked to hear Janelle make nice comments about Elle, especially the bit where Janelle says that Elle cares for him and wants to take care of him courtesy of Paul's dosh.
JANELLE: You should stick with her. She'll be good for you, maybe even all of us. Never mind about Sky, Elle's the one.
Dylan has one puzzled look on his face wonder what on earth his mother has just said.
Ned enquires if Hayley is feeling better after the water he just fetched; she nods, and gets her to sing Amazing Grace. Hayley does her rendition and it is marginally better than Lyn Scully's attempts in 2002 but not much better! “See I sound terrible,” Hayley says to SMC and the audience agrees with her despite SMC saying she doesn't. SMC gets Karl's guitar out to accompany it to the three of them singing. Thankfully the three of them sound much better and you don't need to turn the volume down this time. Ned and Hayley stop singing and leave SMC to continue solo and after a few seconds, realises there is only one voice being heard and tells them to join in…after making eyes at Neddy boy! Neddy boy returns the compliment by looking at SMC instead of his pupil. Some teacher!
Thankfully the singing is over and we cut to Sky coming to see Karl at his surgery in the hospital. Karl thinks that she has come for a number of a counsellor but she wants him to reconsider being the friend she can talk to because he understands her unlike a stranger. Karl reminds her that being detached can be beneficial.
SKY: Karl, you know about me and Dylan and that it's not his baby.
SKY: Well there is more and it gets a lot worse.
KARL: Sky, I think I know what you are going to say.
SKY: No, you have no idea. No-one does. I think Stingray must be the father, which means I've ruined his life, mine and Dylan's.
Sky then breaks down crying and he urges her to talk to a counsellor but she doesn't want that and she pleads with him to help her get through this. Karl gives in and agrees.
