Recap
Zeke loves Bree!
Katya loves CamRob!
But is it Cam or Rob she is in love with, CamRob wonders...
No. 28
Susan (sporting a new short haircut) arrives home and spots Katya packing a bag and asks where she is going to and Katya replies she is going to an overnight conference on accident rehab methods. Susan also spots that Katya has a smile as wide as the Grand Canyon and wants details and she replies that she is in love and Susan reminisces about being in love with Alex. Katya thanks Susan for helping her put her fears aside about CamRob and they have a hug.
No. 30
Izzy comes home laden with shopping and CamRob once he subtly hits the record button on a recording device starts asking her questions about her relationship with Paul and general questions about his dad. She replies that he makes her happier than she's ever been in her life.
IZZY: What girl wouldn't enjoy a powerful, charismatic guy like your dad? He's got style, he's a go-getter, he's sexy. Sometimes I just look at him and think *god I want you right now*!
She apologises for saying that last bit in front of him but he is cool with it before she adds that Paul doesn't judge her. Izzy also points out that CamRob has the same hunky genes as his father and if she hadn't seen him first then...
Izzy suddenly realises that she needs to do the rosters at the bar and departs as CamRob switches off the recording device.
Scarlet Bar
Cute Ozzy alert - he sits with his mum and Paul trying to use Paul's laptop as Paul moans about Sean doing a runner. He then moans at Lyn for not having a babysitter for Ozzy and she explains that he got sent home from crèche with a sniffle and she doesn't want Steph to catch it either and Paul sarcastically remarks that she obviously doesn't mind their investors getting it instead.
Elle appears after her shift doing telemarketing looking for Izzy just as Ned volunteers to babysit but Paul tries to dissuade her, saying that Oscar would be better off being babysat by Homer Simpson! She takes Paul's advice and turns him down and instead hints at Elle doing it. Paul quickly volunteers Elle to babysit Oscar for the princely sum of $50 an hour and that he takes her horse riding on Sunday and buys her new jodhpurs. Wish I got those rates when I babysat! Elle confirms that she will babysit and Lyn suggests it would be better at No. 26 since his toys etc are there just as Izzy arrives in the bar. She tells Lyn to not rush back because she is totally reliable unlike Izzy! Paul rebuffs her and Izzy makes a bitchy comment back before Oscar decides to exercise his vocal cords.
No. 26
Bree and Zeke play fight over what to watch on the telly. Their fight results in Zeke ending up in the ideal position to kiss Bree but he doesn't but after being prompted to by Bree he gives her a quick kiss. Aww but Bree is disappointed as she thought it was going to be more than a quick peck on the lips, so she heads into the kitchen to make milkshakes leaving Zeke to watch the programme he wanted. Zeke however suddenly decides that it is time to go home.
Karl's place
Karl is on the phone to Jenny when Zeke appears. Karl lets him in and they make general chit-chat until Zeke finally admits why he has come round - he's got a problem with Bree and kissing and wants some advice. Well given the number of women Karl's kissed, he's certainly come to the right place and even Zeke makes a joke of that too!
KARL: I have been around the block a few times.
Karl tries to make a bit of a joke about it but Zeke is deadly serious - Bree is his friend as well as his girlfriend and doesn't want to lose her. Karl asks what the problem is and Zeke replies all of it - he doesn't know what to do but Karl says that they'll chart a course for him.
Ramsay Street
CamRob helps Katya pack her car and they kiss each other goodbye. He asks where the seminar is and he gets major flashes of RobCam when Katya says it is at a hospice called St. Lukes. CamRob suddenly decides to volunteer to drive her there and nabs the keys out of her hand before she can object and even volunteers to stay with her all night too. Katya actually seems pleased with his sudden interest in her seminar he on the other hand looks like he is going to have an accident...of the bathroom variety.
No. 22 backyard
Elle's idea of babysitting is her lying on a sunlounger whilst playing fetch with Oscar. Ned appears and tells Elle off for her version of babysitting and she justifies herself because she's just had a manicure and wants to protect her nails. Ned suggests giving Oscar a truck to play with and she begrudgingly goes into a bag and gives him one before politely telling him to get lost.
Karl's place
Karl tries to talk to Zeke about love but he wants to talk about the kissing and tells Karl of his research at the library. Karl reminisces about his first kiss as Zeke runs through the various probabilities before Karl asks if he knows what Bree likes.
ZEKE: I'm scared to ask her in case I look like a total idiot.
KARL: Sure...something you are supposed to know isn't it?
ZEKE: It is.
KARL: Hmm. You'd better get used to that you know. As a male there will be a lot of things you are supposed to know for the rest of your life.
Finally Karl tells him that it is best not to think before he laughs with Zeke when he explains that he did that the other day as the two of them bond over being in love and how great it feels.
No. 22
Elle is on the phone arranging a date with a girlfriend when Izzy comes home and tells her off for not minding Oscar and letting him destroy the house. Elle sarcastically asks if anyone can smell gas and Izzy asks why she is still anti-her, adding that the Ned thing was ages ago. Elle replies that she obviously doesn't get it, which Izzy doesn't, but Elle refuses to expand and instead informs Izzy that she'll find out soon enough before deciding to take Oscar home.
Outside
CamRob and Katya have got lost on the way to the hospice and look at the map before Katya points out that she was right in which road they should have taken, just like all good women passengers do! He then asks if she really wants to go to the seminar and could they not go for a drive instead followed by a meal in a pub. Katya turns down his suggestion or she'll be in trouble with her supervisor. CamRob doesn't look happy.
No. 28
Bree is round moaning to Susan about how Melody wants her to change her image by dumbing herself down, just like George Bush! Susan says to just play the game instead, just as Zeke and Karl enter; explaining that Zeke popped round for a chat but Zeke quickly says it was about footy. Susan offers Karl a coffee and Bree hugs Zeke but he goes all weird, so she drags him off saying she has an idea on how he can help her change her image.
Back with Karl and Susan, she apologises for Zeke ruining his night with Jenny until he explains that Jenny is staying another night in Canberra. Karl adds that Zeke's visits are a nice distraction to being alone.
Outside
CamRob and Katya make their way to the hospice and she is trying to explain why she can't skive the conference. CamRob suddenly swerves the car off the road and they skid in the gravel as we cut to a commercial break.
Break over and we find that the car has stopped and while CamRob takes a few deep breaths, Katya is unconscious in the passenger seat and the radiator makes a hissing noise. He suddenly realises that she is unconscious and grabs at her throat and tries to wake her up. She eventually comes to and he says that he swerved to avoid a rabbit as he looks at the head injury Katya has received. CamRob wants them to head back to Erinsborough for Katya to get treatment but she is insistent that they head to St. Lukes where she can get medical attention.
The General Store
Lyn is happy with the last person they spoke to but Paul isn't so confident and instead decides to have a go at Ned about who he is going to dish out parking tickets to next. Long time recurring guest Mrs Rose Belker who looks an absolute midget compared to the giant Ned, asks if he can turn a blind eye to her parking ticket but he says no. Paul gives him some sick and Mrs Belker tells Ned that her pension won't stretch to cover the parking ticket as well as her other bills but he still doesn't budge. She then says that one of her grandkids won't get a birthday present now and she slowly shuffles off when he shows no sign of letting her off. Paul dishes out even more stick and even Lyn has a go at him, so he takes the ticket from her and rips it up. Aww he has a heart afterall and announces that he is quitting his job!
PAUL: Rebel without a clue!
NED: Have another bottle of champagne Paul!
Missing the point altogether, Rose tells him that she can't have champers and Ned informs her that she shouldn't drink with Paul anyway and after introducing themselves, invites her to join him for coffee and cake.
ROSE: With a handsome young man. Ooohh, it's just like the war!
Ned 1 v Paul 0.
No. 28
Susan and Karl reminisce about getting their kids through her first kiss and Karl asks Susan not to tell Zeke that he talked to her about it. They decide to go for a walk as Zeke and Bree come in with their arms full of junk. Bree asks if they can use it for an assignment and Susan agrees before informing them that they are off to TSB. With the olds away, Bree is impressed at Zeke keeping his mouth shut over what they are up to. She gets out a tape measure to measure Bree and he takes the opportunity to kiss her, lingering a bit longer than their earlier kiss.
No. 22
Lyn announces to Paul that she wants to go to the bank and take out a second mortgage, so that she can invest in the baby belt. He thinks it is a big gamble and Lyn replies that everything in life is a gamble but thinks the idea is a winner. Paul has a little think and says that he'll go in dollar for dollar with her and they celebrate with a mini cheer as Elle comes rushing in to tell Lyn that Oscar has vanished and she's looked everywhere. Lyn rushes out as Elle apologises.
Lassiter's Lake
Oscar has managed to somehow get himself to Lassiter's Lake. He kicks his ball towards the water and when it stops, runs after it. He then shoots for "goal" (two rocks near the edge) and the ball sails into the water. He slowly makes his way and says "ball in the water" and gingerly makes his way to the edge of the water and stands debating if he should enter or not.
