Bree pounces on Karl as he leaves the surgery to ask if the results are back and he lies and says no. Janelle sends Bree into TGS then asks Karl when he gets to the hospital can he talk to Kim to mention that both of them should decide if Kim has the snip or not. Karl tells her that it is up to Kim to decide before taking off.
Katya makes a snide comment to Rachel about not coming for breakfast when she shouted. Rachel says she didn't hear because she was in the shower but doesn't want the breakfast. Katya however orders her eat the now cold breakfast trying to show Rachel who is the boss.

Kim runs into Karl and admits he is nervous about undergoing the snip. Karl says that he can backdown if he wants but Kim replies that 6 kids is more than enough and is going to go through with it. Kim asks about the test results and Karl again lies about them.
Its stalemate – Rachel is still refusing to eat the breakfast which Katya demanding that she eats. Zeke asks if they can negotiate a compromise but Katya says that Rachel has to learn that she's now living in her flat and has to abide by her rules and earn her respect. Rachel snaps back that she can't demand respect, it's got to be earned and all she's earned so far is her contempt. Katya wrongly jumps to conclusions and thinks Rachel's attitude is down to Stinger which Rachel thinks is a bit rich given the people Katya used to hang out with. Katya doesn't like what Rachel just said and stands up as if ready to slap her sister across the face and it is only Zeke shouting “no” which stops her.
RACHEL: Go on, hit me. It wouldn't be the first time now would it?
KATYA: Last time was an accident.
RACHEL: Yeah in your mind maybe. I'm out of here.
Kim, doing his John Wayne impersonation, gingerly enters the house glad to have got a lift home from Karl. He slowly enters the kitchen and they talk about how the operation went and Karl gives some helpful advice. Kim asks if Karl can rush the DNA results because Bree is waiting for them to do her science project. Karl tries to say that the company are not always the fastest at coming back with the results and Kim thinks he's wasted his money on a shoddy outfit and tells Karl to go to a different company. Kim gets suspicious when Karl stalls in answering and asks if he has got the results, which Karl confirms. Kim jumps to the conclusion it shows that Bree is sick but Karl assures him that isn't the case.
KARL: Kim, I'm sorry but you are not Bree's biological father.
Random Susan asks Max how Steph is coping with the radiotherapy and he replies that the treatment is brutal but Steph's got a positive attitude. Susan then says that they just need to ask if they need anything but Max replies that Lyn has everything already covered! Max then confirms that Lyn is driving them crazy as Susan adds that is what mother-in-law's do! Susan then compliments Summer on her piano skills as she tries out the prize (electronic keyboard) they are having as part of a family day and is disappointed to find out she is barred from competing.
Max disappears into the office with a bunch of flowers and Susan asks Summer how it's going being at home and if she's seen Bree. Sum begrudgingly says she's seen her a couple of times and Susan picks up on it, so she admits that she thought the three of them would hang out together but given Rachel and Bree hate each other it hasn't turned out as planned. Susan notices Bree coming into the bar with Janelle and suggests that she be the one to get them talking.
Bree stops talking to her mum about Kim's vasectomy and heads instead to speak to Summer who is still on the keyboards. They talk about the keyboard and Bree says that she is going to win the keyboard and give it to Summer.
Kim tells Karl that they've made a mistake but Karl assures him the results are 99.9% accurate, so Kim thinks their result is in the 0.1% bracket. Karl replies that the chance is very remote and in his experience that level of accuracy really means the result is correct. Their chat is briefly interrupted when Bree comes home and after taking about the op she tells him that she is going to win the keyboard and invites him down to watch. After Bree leaves, Kim tells Karl that she *is* his daughter, his flesh and blood and that there has been a mistake.

Paul is annoyed to find that he has a parking ticket and tells Max he'll have one too. Max checks his windscreen and finds he hasn't got a ticket, so Paul throws his one away after telling Max he isn't paying it.
Max spots Katya and asks how she and the kids are going and she replies fine but after a few seconds admits things aren't fine but doesn't want it to get back to Susan. He assures her he can keep quiet and Katya admits that she's having trouble with Rachel and feels that if she doesn't disciplining her enough she'll go off and spend more time with Stingray. Katya then explains why – it's the age difference and guys that age are only after one thing. Max burst out laughing and tells her not all of them are like that and adds that Rachel is intelligent and strong-willed. Katya briefly mentions something about what happened in the morning and Max suggests that the best way to deal with teenagers is to make them your allies, so both parties respect each other. She thanks him for his advice before leaving.

Sum asks Rachel for a favour in helping her win the keyboard since she is barred from entering.
At another table, Ned throws Paul his parking ticket since he obviously dropped it before Paul twigs that Ned is now a parking attendant! Paul tells him to stick his parking ticket as he rents the space off the council and Ned coolly replies that he was parked over the other space and hence the ticket is valid.
Max is issuing the instructions on how to win the keyboard (you can't take your hands off of it except during official toilet breaks) and the assembled random extras plus Bree and Rachel rush to it.
Kim complete with accompanying cushion enters and sits down at the bar. Janelle goes up to talk to him and is a bit bemused when he tells her to get lost.
Katya arrives home and thanks Zeke for tidying up for her – it's his way of saying thanks for having them. They chat about their mum and thinks it is his fault for the trouble going on between his sisters. Katya apologises for running the home like a boot camp and tells him that there are to be no more stupid rules and that a TV is being delivered too! He is even more overjoyed when Katya announces pizza is on the menu for supper too. Katya enquires if he's seen Rachel and Zeke says no, not since this morning so they both head out to look for her.

A teary Janelle makes a beeline for Karl to ask if there were any complications during Kim's operation because he isn't the same man he was this morning. Karl says nothing went wrong during the operation but he can't say anymore due to patient confidentially. Janelle takes this to mean something did go wrong, so he again tells her nothing did go wrong before sending her packing after saying whatever is wrong with Kim isn't medical.
She leaves and Random Harold enters and wants a word with Paul but is told to go away. Harold ignores this and tells him (a former customer he used to deliver their dry cleaning to wants it continue) and isn't pleased with Paul's snarky response (the customer can buy washable clothes instead of putting them in for dry cleaning).
The ‘hold on and win a keyboard' competition is continuing as Janelle re-enters the bar demanding Kim tells her what is wrong. He tells her not now since Bree is trying to win the keyboard and tells Janelle to get lost!
Janelle takes him at his word and leaves as Katya and Zeke arrive. Rachel isn't pleased to see them and tells Bree that she is dead. Katya is all sweetness and like and tells a stunned Rachel that the two of them are her support crew. Bree sympathises with her when Rachel announces that families are weird.
Paul arrives to complain bitterly that his car has been clamped and is about to threaten CladOnlyInATowelNed with his lawyers. CladOnlyInATowelNed stops him when he says that the space Paul parked over is a disabled one, adding that he shouldn't have too much of a problem getting a sticker for it.
PAUL: Oh I'm going to enjoy crushing you like a bug.
CladOnlyInATowelNed takes the opportunity to tell him that is the only reason Izzy is with him. Paul replies that he is delusional, so CladOnlyInATowelNed tells Paul that if he'd arrived a few seconds earlier, he could have asked Izzy personally since she's been with him again. Paul says that he is lying, so CladOnlyInATowelNed tells him to ask Izzy although she may deny it, sounding pretty convincing in the process. Paul looks like he is starting to get worried now.
Scarlet Bar (early next morning)
It's down to Bree and Rachel now to win the keyboard as everyone tries to get some shuteye. Max awakens surprised to see that the competition is still ongoing, adding that it was meant to be fun not a health hazard! Bree suggests that they both take their hands off the keyboard at the same time to declare it a draw and Rachel agrees, saying she is doing it for Summer anyway. Max asks his daughter if this was a plan to get someone to win the keyboard for her but she replies that the aim was to get them to be friends again and it looks like it worked. After a count of three, they take their hands off and Max announces it is a tie before telling Summer that she can't receive the keyboard and telling the girls to enjoy their shared prize.
Kim and his trusty cushion arrive home and Janelle asks if Bree is with him (she's been sleeping on the couch) and Kim, still doing his John Wayne impression, confirms this. She is still miffed at his attitude towards her and Kim replies that she is lucky he's talking to her at all. Janelle wants to know what she has done.
KIM: You know I may have been a lousy husband and a lousy provider but I was always faithful.
JANELLE: What the hell are you talking about?
KIM: You cheated on me.
KIM: In the region of about 14 years ago but I'll leave you to fill me in on the specifics.
JANELLE: I never did. I swear I never did.
KIM: Then why hasn't Bree got my DNA?
KIM: The test prove you're a bloody liar.
Janelle says there must be some mistake and Kim replies that they are 99.9% accurate as Max, Summer and Bree arrive with the keyboard Bree half won. Bree tells Janelle about the prize before Max & Sum leave and wants to know what the two of them are fighting about this time. Kim replies that they aren't fighting, which Bree doesn't believe for one second, so she asks what is the crisis then but neither Janelle or Kim reply.
