Recap
- Izzy's solicitor blackmailing paul over what he's holding onto.
- Stingray suggesting they run their own deliver company and Dylan agreeing to it as there is nothing else.
- Paul discovering Izzy due to her bad singing.
Mansion
With a blindfold on, Izzy is lying down on a massage table and greets the person aka Paul. She asks her masseuse to be slightly firmer today. Paul simply starts massaging her and then whispers he should start with her neck. She freaks and they face each other.
Speed Freaks Headquarters aka. Dylan/Stinger's bedroom
The boys are busy on the phone taking orders when Janelle busts in and announces they have 2 more bookings! She excitedly envisions their advertising campaign - a huge billboard with her two boys in their lycra...Stinger corrects her, it's about service not sex appeal! Dylan finishes up his call and also joins their excited business talk. His phone rings once more and it's Sky... She cheekily jokes there's a few things he can help her with... Unfortunately, Dylan is super busy. Aww! Sky is positive she could help and purrs down the line. Cut to more flirting. Anyway, Sky thought she'd remind him their one month ban is almost finished. Dylan is still adamant to stay truthful and Sky pouts he has accomplished in driving her crazy. Grinning, Dylan makes kissy noises into the phone before hanging up.
Mansion
Ah, so Izzy has been living it up all this time? Izzy corrects him, she has been recovering! Paul informs Izzy about the hooplah that has been going on - the police, everyone thinking she's dead! Holding up her bandaged hand, Izzy remarks she cut herself in the car - accidentally of course...but, it was useful in giving people ideas. Paul doesn't buy any of it and needs her help with Izzy's lawyer. Izzy will not budge, she has lost everything.
PAUL: Nothing wil be lost if we cooperate.
He bargains with her - get the cops and scumbag lawyer off his back and he will bring Karl here...Izzy perks up at the mention of the docs name but asks why'd he'd come? Ah, Paul has the answer for everything. He's a broken man and if he knows she's alive...if she makes the call, he will bring Karl. She corrects him, bring Karl, she'll call.
Scummins'
Stinger and oh-so-cute Ozzie loudly muck around with Harvey in the living room whilst Lyn tries to have coffee with Steph and Max. She feels terribly guilty for having "stern words" with Izzy and hopes it didn't contribute to her disappearance. Nah, everyone had bad stuff to say to Miss Hoyland... Janelle waltzes in and sits herself down, asking if Lyn has told them about the handy man? She gossips a little before Lyn quietly asks for some family time. So Janelle calls out to Stinger, but Lyn corrects her with which family she meant by gesturing towards Max and Steph. Ah. Janelle goes and Max finds an excuse to also leave. Lyn hopes she didn't offend Max but Steph snubs it off.
Lyn once again asks Stinger to take Harvey outside and the response is the sound of broken glass. They run in and see a broken vase on the floor - it was Lyn's mums. Janelle orders Stinger outside and looks sadly at the broken vase...before adding it was probably for the best as she didn't like it anyway!
Dylan/Stinger Bedroom
Sky sneaks up on a napping Dylan and wakes him up. She announces their ban is over tomorrow and removing her jacket, is impressed with his gallant attempts to respect her grandad but now..."things couldn't get any righter" and starts to kiss him.
Erinsborough High
Paul completely freaks Karl out, whose first instinct is to call the police. Paul calmly asks him to put it away, as Izzy is alive and wants to see him. Karl gets a little paranoid by saying he knows nothing about his affairs but all Paul wants to do is bring him to Izzy. Karl refuses, but Paul lays down the guilty trip. Izzy is at the end of her rope, ready to give up. She is only asking to see him - can Karl really live with himself if he let her go over the edge?!
Mansion
Izzy sits on the couch and waits...Paul arrives and he has brought Karl! Izzy rushes over, pleased to see him but he refutes her attempts. She apologises but she just needed to get away - Karl bluntly replies she should have kept going. He can't believe she ran away for attention. Izzy pleads, she loves him! The only man she has ever loved! Karl is absolutely disgusted, even when they are apart he finds ways to torture her. All he wants is to get, her spoilt, immature and manipulative self out of his life. If she wants to die so be it, she is already dead to him!
Dylan/Stinger Bedroom
Oooer! Dylan and Sky have obviously been "busy" under the covers because he immediately jumps up to the door when Stinger tries to come in. He eventually makes his way through and grins like mad when spotting Sky in Dylan's bed. The noise brings Lyn to the door and Sky hides while she gives the boys a talking about keeping the noise levels down. She also asks Sky to go home. Sprung! Sky pops up, grinning sheepishly.
Scummins' Loungeroom
Lyn Scully is mad. She can put up with broken vases, mess and noise but she can't put up with this!! Lyn tells Janelle she found Sky and Dylan in bed together...but Janelle shrugs. It's no different to what they were doing at 18. Lyn furiously says this isn't a hotel! This is her house and if they don't like it, they can pack up and go. In the meantime, she's going to take Sky back home.
Bishops'
Joe and Harold (in his lovely dressing gown) are in disbelief at Sky's behaviour! Joe can't believe the disrespect for Lyn (as it's all about respect) she has shown. Lyn is just happy for their support and Joe says he'll take care of it with a stern word. She leaves and Sky digs into him.
SKY: I can't believe you used me to get to Lyn Scully!
JOE: Do you think she bought it?
SKY: Dad!
JOE: Aww listen sweetheart. You're 18, you're the most sensible person I know. You know. If you think Dylan's a good bloke, well you go for it. Knock yourself out, I trust you 100%! But don't you begrudge your old man of a bit of happiness with a beautiful happiness.
SKY: Eeerrrgh! La la la! Don't even go there.
Joe starts the "Lyn Scully" jig.
Mansion
Paul sees the police off and laughs gleefully, congratulating Izzy on her great performance. She's a sour puss and won't lighten up (obviously still reeling about Karl). She orders Paul to leave, she just wants time with herself.
Well she won't get that chance because Max and Steph arrive. They're both in shock, and all Izzy can ask is isn't he glad to see her? Max is astounded, she's been living it up all this time? She didn't have the decency for one phone call? She quietly respond she's okay now but he disagrees. She is a waste of space and he's sick of it!
Dylan/Stinger Bedroom
Janelle sticks her head in and orders Stingray and Dylan to pull their heads in - and also go to sleep! In the dark, Stinger asks his brother "how it was" +nudge nudge, wink wink+ Pretty good when it's with someone you love, ey? Dylan responds by whacking him with a pillow but grins to himself. Yep, it was THAT good.
Mansions
Max questions Izzy tells him about the vanishing $200 000 loan. Paul looks surprised how he knows about that, but insists it is an arrangement between him and Izzy - they were involved at the time...it was nothing untoward. Max demands Izzy what Paul has over her! He gets no answer and Steph suggests they leave because it's simply not worth it. Izzy finally speaks up and asks him not to leave but Max wants her to sort herself out.
Left alone once again, Izzy sarcastically asks if this is the time where Paul says they belong together as they're two of a kind...? Is she really that desperate? He replies yes. Not the right answer mister, Izzy wants him out RIGHT NOW.
(Morning) Scummins
Stinger teases Dylan at the breakfast table, suggesting he had been talking about Sky in his sleep. Dylan once again responds with a whack. Janelle is a bit annoyed and tells them to stop it. Stinger whispers if this is about Lyn...well, she is just annoyed "she hasn't scored her own mangle yet!"
JANELLE: That's exactly what she needs, some damn good mangling!
Lyn has been making some coffee, overhears this and asks if she's upset about nothing then!? She is so sick of this disrespect - her personal life is her own business. The boys use this time to shoot through. Lyn isn't sure how much Janelle realises she has had to change her life, in order to fit in with her and her kids. Even if they aren't there half the time, they go around like they own the place without any regard to how it effects her. Janelle assumes she means the handy man and insists it's okay if Joe come around, they won't care! Lyn is gobsmacked, as if she needs her permission! She just feels her home isn't her own - everytime she turns around there is a broken vase, or knocking about at night, or repo men or ex-cons running about, none of them help around the house...simply put, they'd better clean up their act or else they will need to live somewhere else.
Mansion
Paul wheels in Izzy's breakfast but again she orders him to leave. Paul pouts, back to that big empty house all on his little lonesome? Or...trying another angle, doesn't she want revenge? He asks her to imagine the look on people's faces if they set up shop together on Ramsay Street as a couple? Oh, of course they're not a real couple but call it business, or an arrangement...bottom line is, they belong together.
PAUL: Why fight fate?
The General Store
Steph fills Lyn about the Paul/Izzy situation. They both hope he'll leave as soon as possible now. Lyn leaves to get more coffee, but Janelle, who has overheard their conversation steps in first and orders it from Harold - she's paying. Lyn sits back down and whispers it's "damage control" to Steph.
Sky bounds in and happily kisses Dylan - the ban is over! She got into trouble, yes, but it was worth it. Joe asks Harry to place Lyn's order on his tab but Janelle has already got it. He goes over to talk to Lynnie, just as Steph's phone goes off. He has laid down the law with Sky, as he realised Lyn is a person who deserves respect. There will be no more of Sky's monkey business! Janelle takes this moment to interrupt...
JANELLE: Heard about your brown nosing routine last night. Didn't know you had a wowser streak in ya.
On the phone, in corner of the shop (where no one can hear her of course) Steph tells the person on the phone not to mention anything to her husband, as he's had enough bad news and doesn't need more...
Scarlet Bar
Max comes over to Paul, who chooses the moment to remind him he leases the place...and places an order for a coffee. Izzy's scummy lawyer stalks in and sits himself down to Paul. He demands his money. Oh yes my friend, their deal is still on, regardless of Izzy. Whatever is inside the envelope will be revealed unless he coughs up and coughs up good ROBINSON. Haha.
